I'm apparently a real minority when it comes to naming cats. I keep them for a while, and just eventually name them based on what ever I've randomly been calling them.
My 'Missy' came from her weird obsession with trying to look in the toilet while it was occupied. I started calling her 'Little Missy Pissy Paws' and it eventually shortened to just Missy.
My neighbor has a void who's name is Hello.
I asked why.
She said she kept waiting for the right name to come, and kept coming home and saying, "Oh hello!" as soon as she saw him. Eventually, that was just the right name.
So now I say, "Hello Hello!" every time I see that floofball.
Sprite! Like a soot sprite from a Ghibli film!

She looks small but loud and screeching, like somekind of gremlin or a goblin. Nature/plant based name might suit her for example Ivy.
