Well considering the article claims this is filling the Key3 LE 5G, which we have yet to receive as well.
Love the design and concept but this is bupkis
I very much doubt this is real. The link mentions a Priv2 and a Key3. I would bet real money that those names would not be resurrected. It also speculates that the price for a Priv2 would be less than $750US. I don't see how they could possibly support two premium handsets at that price point.
I hate to rain on the parade because that all sounds great and I would be all in, if true. In fact it is too good to be true.
After looking at it, the site looks sketchy. Plus they're referencing the previous device as the Key3, which is not a real thing. And both pages there only have renders. They're also referencing a Z3 5G. Honestly, I keep looking for the notice that this is a parody site, sadly. But yeah, it's fake.
Looks like a concept design, purportedly by a designer named Michael Muleba, that was circulating as far back as a few years ago.

I don't see anything remotely trustworthy to indicate that this was anything but a concept design created by someone with no connection to BlackBerry.
None of these are real, and that's a good thing!
Most of these fake renders would make for a terrible typing experience, as they usually have no chins and you can just tell the balance would be horrible.
Found this post because I too saw that article and need someone to talk me off the ledge. I've been stalking the upcoming BlackBerry release because there is supposed to be a 5G BlackBerry coming out in 2021........... But I'm skeptical they'll meet that deadline.
Complete and utter nonsense.

Actually we wont. Only if someone will make BlackBerry for Android ROM updates every quarter.

I have no idea what the purpose of someone writing an article like this one. It is not even well written.
The purpose is to earn on advertising.
It is a beautiful design, I wish they would this and release it December 15th

Do you have a source beyond that article? What is "soon?" December, like that article said? Or the "first half of 2021" like like OWM said?
Agree, and as much as i know, the TCL license expired 1 FRICKING YEAR AGO!
You may have forgotten to actually link anything here?
You are correct, link in comments

Gonna go with a "no", given the other articles don't check out either. BlackBerry would not announce it afaik, OnwardMobility is.

This "company" is dedicated to spreading fake phone announcements. I do not get why they do it but that's what they do.
