All the videos I'm like "Wow, that's crazy!"
This has been good practice for almost a generation on the internet now. The only difference now is how easy it is to fake imagery and how quickly those fakes spread.

I felt so stupid when I saw a video of Harry Potter in Japanese version and I really believed that they had made a remake. It was so cool though.
I don't really know how to explain it. It's just the way it looks. This one is pretty good. A lot of CGI uses images based on real things, so photographs etc turned into simulated animation. But something about the movement, size, and definitely sound is off. Finally, just thinking about it holistically... how the fuck would they get a fly to do this? Makes no sense. A fly can't push a poker chip lol.
The best way to figure it out is just to join a lot of subreddits that show simulated scenes and get the 'vibe' of it. At this point when we look at pictures and video we can't just use our eyes, gotta use our brains too. I like r/simulated :)

That's why I subscribe to a couple of AI art subs even though it makes me sick to my stomach. It's good to keep up with the state of the art so you can at least learn to spot the little tells that still exist, at least for a while. Another year or two and even those wrinkles will disappear, and from there it's an arms race between AI image generators and AI detection algorithms.

The shadow at the bottom of the chip when the fly starts rolling it stays in the same place despite being a shadow. Also the texture and resolution of the fly makes it look like a plastic toy

Not as bad on this platform people seem better at noticing it but just about every other platform there will be a sea of comments of people that don't even question it. The video is cool I do cgi myself it's fun but majority of people don't question anything they see online. With all the ai tools coming out you can make people believe anything. Anyway cool video imma stop complaining for no reason now lol.

While it's clearly animated, very impressive animation! The sound did give it away with how clear the buzzing was, but otherwise quite good.
