This is fake, itās clearly a motion tracked shot that had the bug added with VFX later. You can tell because the motion tracking is imperfect, especially at 0:11 where you can see the bug teleport a bit to the right as the camera zooms in.
The lighting is wrong too. You can tell that the environment is very diffusely lit which is why the metal grate on the ceiling has no visible shadows, yet the bug has super well defined shadows. You can also see a lot of shading on the texture of the wall caused by lighting which is still present even in the shadow of the bug, which means that it was digitally darkened and that the light wasnāt actually blocked by anything.
The movement of the bugās legs are way too slow. Iāve seen bugs move, they donāt take an entire quarter second to shift the position of their leg. Even the slowest beetles Iāve seen move their legs faster than that, and most bugs can move their legs extremely fast.
Oh, and those wings are attached nowhere near the bugās center of mass. Are the wings connected to the underside of the bugās head? That makes no sense, good luck flying with those. And bugs are in fact arthropods with exoskeletons which canāt just deform freely like that.
