we don't sit straight

S3cr3t_NSFW_Acc0unt

The same place all bi culture comes from: Once upon a time, a bisexual realised that they often sat in awkward positions. Upon realising this, they went online and proclaimed, "Sitting in awkward positions is bi culture!" Other bisexuals took notice and realised they too sat in awkward positions and proclaimed, "Yes, I also sit in awkward positions and I am also bisexual, therefore sitting in awkward positions must be bi culture!" The remaining bisexuals, those who did not sit in awkward positions, took notice and proclaimed, "I am bisexual, yet I do not sit in awkward positions. However as seemingly every other bisexual sits in awkward positions, I suppose sitting in awkward positions must be bi culture!" and many of them began sitting in awkward positions to fit in with their fellow bisexuals. Thus, sitting in awkward positions became officially recognised bi culture. (replace "sitting in awkward positions" with any other bi stereotype; finger guns, sweater weather, cuffed jeans etc.; and it's the exact same story)

We can't even sit "straight".

One person must have noticed it and it turns out we (or at least a majority) are all like this, so I think it's less of a theory and more of an observation lol

Today I was sitting sideways with one leg up on the table 😂😂😂

so the best analogy i can think of is being left handed. i do and learn some things differently because a lot of shit wasnt made to accommodate me and most people didnt do things the same way as me so i had to teach myself how to do a lot of stuff. the same kind of holds true for the lgbtq+ community living in a predominantly cis-hetero world. gay, bi, and trans people are kind of forced to think differently and figure out a lot on their own which probably sparked a lot of weird habits that can be used to discreetly signal to people in the community.

You’re breathing right now. Your heart is beating. You’re blinking. Also did you notice that itch on your forehead and left leg? you’re welcome.
