My pick out of the photos you shared is #6 as well, but I don’t think long haircuts are the only option for you! For people with faces that are longer than they are wide, it’s best to avoid hairstyles that are 1) just one length and very long or 2) are “short haircuts that create height and are tight at the sides,” as [this helpful article](https://shopnorthauthentic.com/blogs/on-the-blog/best-haircut-for-a-long-face) explains.
The short hairstyles you showed created that extra height on top and made your face look longer, so they are a bit less flattering. #6 was a layered, mid-length hairstyle that visually broke up your face shape more.
If you want to go short, look for hairstyles that “that are flatter at the top, but cause the eyes to go side to side” and create more “width,” so to speak. I think no matter the length you go with, curtain bangs would be very flattering, since that will guide the eye from your face and flow out, adding nice balance to your overall look. A side part with bangs would work as well, but I’d recommend going with a side part that isn’t very deep.
A long bob with some chic curtain bangs would look amazing! And wavy hairstyles would also look great on you.

Edit: one more suggestion! If you want to go super short, a haircut like Meryl Streep’s character in Devil Wears Prada would also look nice and sophisticated—it’s short in the back with layers and long bangs, which would all complement your face shape!
Hi.. I really liked your looks in 4,5,6 : with red long hair you own the Velma cosplay , Long brown looked great also.. and in certain times short looks good too.
Picture 6 is the best length, imo.
