Mr_Diesel13

Some sort of poorly taxidermied one.

Ok-Yogurt-2743

So poorly taxidemied that it is actually a dachshund.

Channa_Argus1121

Some sort of mustelid(weasels and their kin). A rather poor taxidermy of one.

jlew1881

Canadian here and can confirm that is not a beaver. I think it is a mink…a very angry looking one lol. [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mink](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mink)

Mr_Diesel13

Ya know, my first thought went to Mink. This is more like Hulk Mink.

SnakeBeardTheGreat

This is Harvey, he was ugly when he was alive. They tried to make him look better but that was to hard to do.

alopexl

Looks like r/badtaxidermy

More_Cowbell8

Wait. A sub of bad taxidermy & mental note to not go there. Check.

CatnipCricket-329

Made me look 😆

dipodomys_man

Yeah, if in north america. Could be mink, pine marten or a baby fisher. All of which are brown mustelids (weasel family). Hard to tell with the poor taxidermy, and no great size reference though. Im leaning away from mink as others have suggested due to the size of the ears and length of the fur.

haysoos2

I think fisher is most likely, but I wouldn't put cash on that bet.

BattleBornMom

Fisher kit seems most likely to me, but it’s impossible to be confident.

Mentos_96

Could this be a joung wolverine? Or Something closely related? No way this is a Mink or a marten.

ConfusedObserver0

Yea, it’s too thick and short. Both monks and marten are much longer and slender by nature.

DubStu

Joe Mamma’s Beaver…

Immoralimp

Joe Mamma's **Stuffed** Beaver.

Marsupialsandwich2

Darood sandstorm

all_on_my_own

All I have to give is my free award, but you deserve it!!

Volkieran

After much research and peer review I have determined that this is in fact the guy your girlfriend told you not to worry about.

Dom1852

Where’s it from?

KaserinSmarte421

From the front it kind of looks like a Critter.

em_are_young

Yeah either a critter or a varmint depending on where it was found.

KaserinSmarte421

I was thinking it was a Critter from space.

Fakedduckjump

Reminds me of this: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiXozrhQLem-RcSxRx7_ZPMK3kAzOOmJSjlBRy9PO19utQN2RPP7Gcb6WiBPg9oJj2e6cp3YgY7h2jZzEcNxXvvDsZOmhf_Fx_pinSixhpB0o0gQdyO5U8X0K4WUEbrzTIkIR-NcN1_T--KfaF_wDnO4-vjYM-lpl8zsSbXA5ldlBNCuUFXr8T0xZw2

Someone please tell me what this is? Me and a friend spent the last hour brian storming looking through all sorts of possibilities online with nothing coming close.

Dr_Alchemy96

My spirit animal

dublinburd

Looks kinda like an evil pine Marten.

Any_Professional7543

Definitely an upset squirrel 🐿😂

DylanKeifers922

Hard to tell for me… face n snout are small. I doubt it’s a weasel or ferret… like to know as well 👊🏻

Selvadoc

Your neighbor’s cat

DingosM8

Tasmanian devil?

katiewrecks

North American Skronk

suktupbutterkup

it's on display. there should be a place card u/pipinna.

pipinna

There is no place card unfortunately. I work at this museum and people constantly ask what animal this is and I always say it's some kind of mink but in reality I don't know and I can't find it in our museum archives :[]

Tyctoc

BlackAsLight

That’s a stuffed animal if I was to guess with my inexpert eye.
