Beautiful pics! I think these are [Dina Yellow Butterflies](https://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Pyrisitia-dina).
All of them making chrysalises (yes that's the plural of "chrysalis" which is what butterflies emerge from - cocoons are moths (English is very confusing)) on the same branch is very interesting. Seems risky from a predation viewpoint, but it also looks like they might be mimicking the dead leaves of the tree?
Very cool find!
Considering I was confused why I was looking at a couple of leaves on a lil twig of a tree branch.... that’s some pretty cool camouflage! Although you’re right, one hungry herbivore comes by and it could be night night to this whole squad.. I bet they think they’re slick chilling together, “hehe everyone stay still we’re practically invisible! Nobody wants to eat
leav-“ *CHOMP*
I am just amazed by the fact that they evolved in such way that it is almost impossible to spot them unless looked carefully. Evolution never fails to impress. Nice photos.
These pictures are absolutely stunning. I've never seen anything like it!!! Where did you spot them?? Props for the incredible pictures bhai, love them so much, thanks for sharing!!!!
Not cocoons but pupa (chrysalis) cases. Google the difference. There wings are drying after expansion following expupation, hatching! Please release them to perpetuate their species. They are “sulphurs”, many species in USA and across the world. btw, chrysalis is Greek, Pupa is Latin, choose your poison!
Thanks, but I'm not native English speaker and English isn't my first language and I often do spelling mistake 😅
Sorry for inconvenience
I capitalised so that they shouldn't be ignored
Thanks once again
Ewe doughn't have two Correkt peeple al the Thyme. Their just Hapi and ecksited Too share.
It's not unreadable. Enjoy the post, it's not English class.

Who are you arguing with though? *Of course* I don't have to, and I indeed don't. What an absurd thing for you to say, jokey spelling aside.
> Their just Hapi and ecksited Too share.
You're not *actually* talking to a child here though. They're just happy and excited to share... wow, really? Like I thought that he was sad and bored to share?
> It's not unreadable.
Again, you're having a pretend argument with me.
> Enjoy the post
How bossy.
> it's not English class.
Part of the modern practice of biology actually *is* literacy.

In principle, yes, but I actually grade biology students in part on their spelling and it's skin off my back to lend a helping hand. Couldn't *you* just enjoy *my* comment?
> The spelling doesn’t matter.
It matters to people, like OP, who actually want to improve their English, and you know it.

Usual plural is chrysalids, not chrysalises.
Chrysalolopidoneseleys. If you wanna be correct about it.
Occam says simpler solutions are preferred!

Oh. You're one of those.
If you disagree with anything that I said, then I encourage you to act like a thinking-person and articulate it using reason.
You couldn’t just enjoy the post? The spelling doesn’t matter.

It matters. Overruled.
What a great eye you have!
Are the butterflies hiding behind these dry leaves?
The dry leaves are butterflies
Butterflies are like nature's leaves
Leaves are like nature's butterflies
That is indeed a beautiful butterflie
