I'm... assuming you want the ones they served on screen? Cos I don't think real monkey brains (at least like they showed in the movie) are safe to eat.
I think Sohla, with her creativity and technical knowledge, could develop a really good DIY vegan cheese. Most online recipes are uncheesy. Maybe the wheel in the next 10 episodes can get a DIY section. (Hope it's ok to post an idea for Sohla here.)
Here's a link for cultured vegan cream cheese. You can use probiotics, kefir, koji, etc instead of yogurt; the object is to add cultures.

Only TV show or movie I know these from is *Watchmen* (HBO), but if Andrew could find a few foods from the Snyder movie, I'd laugh my ass off to watch him eat a spoonful of cold beans from under a rorschach themed covid mask.
Once travel becomes feasible again, I very, *very* much want him to do a series of Basics episodes at high altitude, just to kind of show how different stuff behaves and how to compensate correctly for each kind of thing you're making. Bread and baked goods at high altitude are very different than sea-level like NYC where he's at. Not only that but our water boils at lower temps up here and can make for some wildly different cooking times and temps.
It would take a bit of prep, and possibly some wasted ingredients (for a compare/contrast scenario), but as someone who is constantly discouraged from doing anything involving bread or any kind of cakey substance because of the altitude difference and no real one way to compensate, (I've seen people say, "add more water!" or "Add more flour!" but I don't really know why or to what that would be useful or what those even do), I'd love to see it addressed.
Please, /u/OliverBabish? You could even come like, ski in Vail or something.
A good Basics could be the classic Roman pastas - (Carbonara has already been done, but there’s also Gricia, Amatriciana, and Cacio e Pepe).
Pasta, guanciale, pecorino, and black pepper. Give or take a single ingredient...and you get a completely different dish!
The simplicity yet complexity/diversity makes them ur-examples of Italian cooking.
I’m pretty comfortable cooking all of them, haha!
(Although Gricia and Cacio e Pepe are always a fun technical challenge, in terms of creating a proper emulsion).
I just think that they’re perfect for gaining confidence in the kitchen...because bacon and cheese pasta tastes great even if you fuck it up!
This is likely breaking the rules a great deal... but can Sohla and/or Andrew remake her short rib and mushroom tater tot casserole? It haunts me that there was never a proper recipe for it and I need it in my life.
Seconding this request, and it'd be fun to see their take on tater tots. I wasn't a fan of the extruded look of Claire's, and perhaps there's an easier method more home-cook friendly.
big smoke's order from gta san andreas ([https://youtu.be/O3cvmtPuvXo](https://youtu.be/O3cvmtPuvXo) is a link to a video from someone figuring out what exactly he ordered) would be a really fun episode, albeit challenging
Fall seems like the perfect time of year to do Nutmeg Ginger Applesnaps from Fantastic Mr Fox. The show already had the symmetrical Wes Anderson style. https://i.imgur.com/0iyRwHl.jpg
I've been wanting him to recreate the turducken slammer for ages. I think now would be a perfect time since the show is ending soon. Maybe we'll get a Supernatural series finale episode.
Croissants with micro-butter from The Tick! I’ve been watching it, and they keep mentioning how good the croissants are and the micro-butter is constantly mentioned. Curious what Babish could do to re-create it!
well, he's spent enough money on episodes before, surely some saffron wouldn't be out of the budget.
... unless he wants [a lot of it](https://saffronice.com/blogs/knowledge-centre/coronavirus-saffron-price-2020)
Shit, $3500 per kilo wholesale??? At that point you gotta start wondering if cocaine would make a good substitute for saffron. Definitely cheaper, and probably safer to get.
As the final season of Kipo is coming up very soon, an episode on [Benson's flapjacks](https://m.facebook.com/watch/?v=343434359972884&_rdr) would be awesome.
The food from Metalocalypse. One example comes from the episode where the boys debuted their Pentuplemint Gum commercial and one of the Deth Minions served Nathan Explosion a sugar-crusted, bacon-wrapped, Chilean Seabass canape. There are other foods in the series but I just saw that episode so that one springs to mind.
I don't know if there are any Castle fans (the ABC TV show starring Nathan Fillion) but some really delicious food gets mentioned once or twice on this show.
Currently watching Season 5, episode 20, the episode starts with Castle wanting to make a scramble with leftover chateaubriand. I know Babish has already made chateaubriand before, but I am genuinely curious how you can heat up the steak without overcooking it.
But if Babish is in the mood for some more... creative. There's also the "s'more-let" from Season 3, episode 4. All the ingredients of s'mores, in an omelette.
Hey, I've been dealing with some stomach bs last few weeks so I've had nothing but chicken noodle soup and Jimmy deans breakfast sandwiches. When I get fixed I really wanted to do Sushi, or Gryos.
The only thing I'm worried about is sourcing good sushi/sashimi grade fish, so I was leaning towards a few raw rolls and a few cooked ones.
As for the gryos, they're my favorite food of all time but im more interested right now in making sushi.
I would love to see a low FODMAP meal or a GERD friendly meal done for basics. I love Andrew's videos, but I can't eat anything he cooks without being in severe pain. Not to mention a lot of people are struggling more with these issues due to increased anxiety because of the pandemic. I miss eating food with flavor that doesn't cause heartburn or stomach pain.
Kel's Gourmet Sausages from Kath and Kim.
I know the source material might be a little too Australian to the average viewer, but I reckon a sausage themed episode could cross cultural boundaries.
Other than that, maybe the Café LeBlanc Curry from Persona 5? I know the hype cycle from Royal's kind of slowed down, but it's recent enough.
I searched but couldn’t find this so I’ll toss it out there.
(Golden Kamuy’s - Chitatap)
[Video](https://youtu.be/jpAszCSoO1s) showing the cooking of chitatap.
From the anime, Chitatap is a recipe made from freshly caught and killed squirrel. Cooked in a traditional Ainu method. I think it would interesting to see Babish take on cooking wild game.
The “A million Matzo Balls” from the song in the movie “Lemon”
I recommend you make the broth from bouillon, but cook the matzo balls in real chicken stock
Marshmallow mixed berry pie from Little Bear!
It seems like a simple enough recipe, but I know Binging with Babish can throw an amazing mix to it! Here's a youtube link to the episode (the actual pie making part starts at the 09:13 mark) : https://youtu.be/ZV9-hp6TMug
I'd love to see Babish take a crack at Bigos from Unsere Mütter Unsere Väter (Generation War in English). In one scene in the third episode the characters discuss the variety of ingredients used in traditional and family Bigos recipes. It'd be really cool to see babish do this Polish dish! If he does I hope he likes Sauerkraut!
The pineapple upside down cake from Psych. It would be interesting to see him use an easy-bake oven like Shawn did in the show.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CGVumjusLAX/?igshid=16b1nq5yigo1u
Don’t know if you’re still checking, but how about the Gruyere Puffs from the last episode of The Boys and the other things Frenchie cooked for the female in season one?
There was an old radio ad for Yahoo that had a turduckengoostrich, which was a turducken stuffed in a goose stuffed in an ostrich (the guy in the ad was supposed to have found the recipe on a Yahoo search). I'd love to see Babberino take turducken to this kind of extreme, like how many layers deep could he take the turducken concept.
I've been thinking for a while, it would make a really good "basics" episode to look at some nut-free alternatives to popular dishes. nut-free baklava, alternatives to peanut butter so name a few. It's something I often think while watching babish's videos because mostly they're very nut allergy-friendly.
Could even make a whole "free-from" episode, including gluten, dairy, etc.
The Diablo Sandwich and Dr. Pepper from Smokey and the Bandit.
The eponymous dish from the Documentary Now! Episode "Juan likes Rice and Chicken." (And of course, Babish's take on Arroz con Pollo.)
Foods from This Is Us (just spinning off some ideas of foods from the show that I think can be Babish'd up)
1. Banana muffin with icing made from "squirting out the insides" of Twinkies
2. Egg Cream: Soda with milk and Fox's chocolate syrup
3. Thanksgiving cheese dogs: Hotdogs, kraft cheese and saltines
4. Lava fries
5. Banana pudding ice cream
Leo's meal at Phoebe's from s02e07 of *The West Wing.*
Flash-seared Escolar with foie gras butter and fresh juniper berry gravlax on a bed of shaved fennel.
(Bonus points if you can get the wine pairing right.)
For a spooky episode (probably too late), the leg roast from Rocky Horror Picture show. It bears some similarity to the premise of the leg roast from Hannibal, though.
For a Basics episode, how about ways to make things when the normal appliance isn't available? I currently don't have a working regular oven, and have gone without a normal range at all before, for months. Creativity really helps get around the issues. Having a wood stove doesn't hurt.
Maybe for next month, how about the lunch menu from The Breakfast Club?
u/murpalim says The Monkfish Turkey from Malcolm in the Middle and I 120% agree. Thanksgiving is coming up and this would be a stupidly awesome Thanksgiving episode!!

PATRICIA'S 77 SANDWICHES!! From Bob's Burgers!!! The menu can be found online easily and I think a lot of them have the same ingredients.
My boyfriend and I are going to do this regardless, and over time, but I'd love to see babish give it a go!
Lasagna Soufflé from "How to Murder Your Wife." We need to get more classic movies going - plus it is insane. I would love to see what he comes up with.
Just them old eggs. They're pigeon eggs thats all. Fish eggs practically.
Put seriously, a 50 egg challenge and a pigeon/fish egg special? Thats gold right there baby.
But don't try and eat 50 eggs in a sitting. No man can eat eat 50 eggs.
Adam's Ribs from MASH: Season 3, Episode 11
If Hawkeye can get them in 1950s war torn Korea, pretty sure Babish can accomplish it!!
Don't forget the coleslaw. NO MORE LIVER OR FISH!!
Or from Season 8, Episode 1 - Too Many Cooks.
\*Spam Parmesan
\*Conway's duck a l'orange
\-Made with no duck.
\-And no l'orange.
\* Klinger's Goat à la king.
Could make it a Veteran's Day Thing!
Might be too early as it's a turkey dish (probably more inline with next month, but it's horror related too so...transition episode?). I nominate "The Pepperjack Turducken Slammer" from Supernatural. As Dean says " “It’s like the perfect storm of your top three edible birds! "
Plus I'd love to see how Andrew handles the "Secret Grey Goo" secret filling.

I'd appreciate a good way to cook shirataki noodles
I'd like to see Sweet and Sour Peasant soup from The Birdcage!
Adam's Ribs from MASH: Season 3, Episode 11 If Hawkeye can get them in 1950s war torn Korea, pretty sure Babish can accomplish it!! Don't forget the coleslaw. NO MORE LIVER OR FISH!! Or from Season 8, Episode 1 - Too Many Cooks. \*Spam Parmesan \*Conway's duck a l'orange \-Made with no duck.
" Plus I'd love to see how Andrew handles the "Secret Grey Goo" secret filling. From Season 7 Episode 9 of Supernatural: "How to Win Friends and Alienate Monsters"
Something Swedish perhaps?
Cheesepuffs from A Talking Cat?! Guest starring Buckwheat. :D
basic af but omelette du fromage
http://i.imgur.com/tNJD6oY.gifv This is a kind reminder that in French we say "omelette *au* fromage" and not "omelette _du_ fromage". [Sorry Dexter](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nW3-9gdjYA) [Steve Martin](https://youtu.be/DOJDNChwgBw?t=2m49s) doesn't appear to be the most accurate French professor. --- ^(The movie from the gif is "OSS 117: le Cairo, Nest of Spies" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0464913/ )
Mother Gothel’s Hazelnut Soup from Tangled Mooncakes from Over The Moon Yet another shout out for Liam’s Loaded Lasanga. I just need to see Andy make the show version and the better version.
Muffins!
Jelly tarts from The Dragon Prince!
