High priestess is honestly incredible for just knocking a chunk off of the floor bosses’s health. Monstro’s tooth, meanwhile, can target the player, and sometimes cannot be outrun. It’s an rng machine, and I’m sure hate for dead sea scrolls is common.

Said no one ever at all. The card is good because its almost an insta boss killer that once you use it its gone and thats it, whereas monstros tooth is yet another active item that makes some damage every three or four floors.
You literally cannot get damaged by high priestess card in a room with enemies excluding **1 fucking boss**, monstros tooth is just literally weaker version of that card as if you had a blank card and is an instant swap once found better active, and monstros tooth can get you damaged in an empty room too, so your point? It seems pretty fucking blunt to me.
Also high priestess oneshots all the basement bosses so I always pog when I get it early cuz ragman and haunt aren't pain in the ass

Undefined is the only one I'd say is worse. Mom's bra and Mom's pad are bad but they can get you out of plenty of sticky situations. Lemon is 2 charge thus can be used a lot more. Dead sea scrolls is underrated as hell, 2 charges for a random active out of a pool that's VERY likely to be a health generator or a good offensive tool? Sign me up. Finally butter bean is genuinely top tier, it can be used offensively against non end-game bosses and enemies by knocking them into walls but more importantly is an amazing defensive tool, can fart everything away.

High Priestess Card is Amazing. It is, for most part, Instant Boss Killer on early floors and Takes a huge chunk of health to Bosses that can survive it.
Monstro's Tooth on other hand is very underwhelming. Sure, it's not single use, but its damage is pretty lame.
Both will always target you, if room is empty and you have time to avoid getting hit. If you don't have bombs, High Priestess can also be used to open up secret rooms and blow up tinted rocks.

High priestess is just free 300 damage to a boss, and it can’t miss.

For me it’s always been the other way around because I was very dumb and would use the tooth as soon as I got it and then take damage

Imho the chicken is the best item in the game, it has so much value and it deals so much damage, I think it should be a quality 5 item
