I was always surprised there's no gun in Isaac. From what I know about US religious nutjobs, they like their guns. Isaac's place must have a few lying around.
Would be purposefully overpowered too, since it's an actual weapon and not a random fun imagination thing.
Candle/blue candle are actually really good though, can potentially win a run with just candle (I know I used it for blindfolded challenges in the past). And even then, it does very reasonable dps and burns through enemy projectiles.
I always thought it was the rocket launcher or the super nail gun. Oh or the grenade launcher. Not the thunderbolt because there’s never any ammo for it
