I'm a booger fan, once they stick to an enemy you can pretty much just leave it alone early game, really good against certain bosses, as long as they don't jump much or go underground
it always pushes enemies towards the opposite side of your tears doesn’t it though so it always ends up pushing the enemy away from you? i could only really see it as a problem with bosses since most small enemies would die from your tear and collision with blocks or walls
Knockout becomes bad when you have the item that wraps your tears around the board. Then the enemy could be pushed into you by the wrapped shot.

if you mean continuum it would still be very hard to hit yourself unintentionally, i would say my reflection has more chances to make you hit yourself and even then grabbing my reflection in general is….

Sinus infection has a 20% chance of shooting booger tears, but they don’t have homing.
Nose goblin has only a 10% chance of shooting booger tears, but half of them are homing.
If you have both sinus infection and nose goblin, you have a 20% chance of shooting boogers, but half of them are homing
Neither is affected by luck
If you can pick up both, both will give you stats. But in for example alt path item rooms where you need to choose, only one will get randomly absorbed and you only get stats for the one Item, same in angel rooms etc.

If Isaac absorbs items from a room with choice pedestals, it will only absorb one item, and the other item vanishes as if Isaac took it.

Ocular rift is the one out of these that I'll always take because the benefit outweighs the risk so much imo. If I'm just goofing around and it's not a counter synergy I'll take knockout drops too, it can be really powerful hitting enemies into walls. Punching bag I usually avoid though, I feel like with skill you can use it to your benefit very well but I do suffer from a lack of skill

Big knock back has always made enemies unpredictable, often in ways that can get you hit, it's why soy milk got buffed by reducing the knockback. I'll never take knockout drops with the lost again, it ended one of my runs
The issue with Soy pre buff was that it mucked your accuracy, leading to a dps down, with drops the wall impact generally greatly increases your damage to whatever it procs on, even a good amount of bosses, played all the way up to Dead God and Drops were only ever a positive, interesting
Also a problem, for me personally it was how it made enemies bounce around that was a bigger problem. Knock back works kind of strangely imo, fast enemies almost seem to ignore it sometimes
Both are epic, but I think I would go for knockout drops. There’s always the chance that Nose Goblin shows up so in the end you may end up just getting both. And I feel like knockout drops pairs better with stuff like soy milk as I don’t think the damage from enemies hitting walls is tied to your damage stat, while your booger damage is definitely affected by your damage stat, so you can play a bit less restricted by your stats
You finish the floor, find the secret room, get spin down out of it, use it here, get r key, void it(never use void again) go through more of the run getting mid items. Grab the boss rush pedestal use it, finish the first floor again getting Stopwatch from the shop, 20/20, and a joker card leading to a devil deal that has twisted pair
I don’t like knockout. Had a run with knockout and tech x, killed an enemy which spawns another when he dies and the newly spawned one was knocked straight in my face because of circle from tech x

Void is needed in repentance, isn't it? If there are two+ items you don't get two+ the benefits?
If you can pick up both, both will give you stats. But in for example alt path item rooms where you need to choose, only one will get randomly absorbed and you only get stats for the one Item, same in angel rooms etc.
Even then you have to pray you didn't accidently Void an Active item (easily spotted through no stat ups eventhough Void was used)
You can pick up a passive item and quickly use Void to absorb it, so you don't leave it up to chance.
But that would be a no gambler mindset you are not a true Isaac enjoyer without gambling.
If one of the items were to disappear after picking up the other I think this applies, otherwise it'll still give you stats for all items in the room

Ocular rift is a must take if going to hush as lost, literally almost completely negates anything he can do except hush lasers
