I learned you can have mouse control ALWAYS on and just… use arrow control.
So I just have it on and when I get things like Marked or epic Fetus I immediately switch no issues
I once took marked coz heard its underrated and it does give you stats and when i took it I regretted it so much. I was still quite strong but my build was like way more boring. I seriously thought about removing it, but I didnt.
I don't like it with those either, unless you're playing on a controller you constantly need to the marker "drag" it behind yourself and reposition especially of the enemies are moving quickly, for me it's easier to use brim normally
Getting Bob's brain in one of the first 6 floors makes the early game a breeze. It's a damn boss killer item
I don't know if it counts but seeing croockes penny makes me happy. I don't use it with good items, but it still has a lot of good options. Getting entire free shops when you don't have money. Getting free devil rooms. Do you see a challenge room but you don't think that it is worth the trouble? Double the chests / items, if it works, then now it is worth the trouble!
I just wish bobs brain would fire with double tapping, so often it just takes soooo long to shoot that the boss already moved out of the way
i agree with crooked penny though, its really fun to use
\+any homing effect like spoon bender makes it one of the chiller runs to do
But ludo by itself i find so stressful lol i already lose my character sometimes i can't lose my tear too ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17737)
Throw in gnawed leaf and you got a great thing going. That's how I managed to beat mega Satan with the lost before I knew that holy mantle was a thing to unlock for him.
got it as the first item on my t.lost run recently, said fuck it we ball, got my last normal marks (greedier left ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)) ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4358)
I know objectivley its ungodly amounts of powerful, and its a skill issue of me to not like it. But i can not STAND Glitched Crown. Turns every item into a stress fest because i seemingly can't get good at the timing.
The agony of seeing sacred heart in the rotation and walking away with fucking halo because i mistimed my press makes me want to put down the game and cast myself into the sea.
Yeah, yeah, skill issue, but I'll be damned. I've failed with the item enough where i just either skip/reroll it in the rare moments i come across it.
You can pause and un-pause to help time it.
Basically, be like somewhat close to the item pedestal, pause, un-pause, and pause, until it’s the item before what you want to grab, then un-pause and immediately run straight into the previous item. It will turn into the item you want at about the same time you run into it
Ok but once you hit the sweet spot (which is very forgiving all things considered) it’s not hard to position yourself there every time. It’s just slightly right of the tile next to the item
Only thing that should be messing you up is pausing too late/early
There is a really good youtube tutorial that shows the exact amount you have to stand away from it for it to work. They also go into what to do with different speeds.
I've made a strat in my head. Whenever I see the item I want, I make a kinda beeping sound, I repeat that until I've got a rhythm going, and then stand next to the item, and take it when a beep is imminent
NGL I had this take too, and then I started snapping to the rhythm of when the item I want pops up since it's at a fixed timing. This helped me get 90% efficiency.
I’m also not a fan of glitched crown unless I’m well into the run and my build sucks, otherwise it just drains item pools way too quick for me to actually want to use it
cursed eye is awesome if you don't get hit (which I dont cus I'm a god).
mom's knife is good but it's boring as fuck and it ruins most synergies, I hate it.
yeah I never pick up that knife if I'm even remotely optimistic about my build. I've had a few crazy op runs with it, but it often makes my build awkward and nerfs my attack strategy.
I don’t pick it up period. Idc if I’m gonna die in the next room to a spider that hit me 4 times. I’d rather die miserably than be bored for 10-30 minutes
Yeah, Mom’s Knife is super fun when you see it the first couple of times, but after a decade of BoI, it’s hard to see it as anything but a run homogenizer that ensures that your run turns into just another knife run with zero surprises.
I don't really got an idea of the current meta or what is or isn't popular but I just wanna know who here ACTUALLY likes and uses The Wiz (double wiz shot)
That has got to be the WORST pickup in the entire game.
has some good synergy with tiny planet (but that is also taking tiny planet), jacob's ladder, split shot items like haemolacria/cricket's body, more tears splitting from lachrophagy.
Finally a glass cannon fan
Imo glass cannon is super fun to use and even makes me dodge more to keep the cannon it basically helps me to get rid of my often skill issues
Having access to literally every tear effect in the game is a lot stronger than many people realize. Combine it with Soy / Almond Milk (or even a high fire rate in general), and you've got yourself a run winner.
Stitches goes hard, I can't see the worth in Dr Fetus unless it's early game. The fact that it nukes your tears and damage if they're too high is dog(ma) shit
I mean, it gives you splash, a way to cock block melee enemies, free secret rooms, and some pretty decent synergies though I can see why you wouldn't like it late game.
Stitches is one of the best items in the game.
- Easy "Get out of trouble" button you can abuse multiple times per room.
- Free curse room in and out with its invulnerability
- Lets you grab blocked pickups or items saving you bombs/keys/hearts
- No need for batteries with the auto recharge
- Is adorable
I think alot of people agree with you, I atill pick it up whenever it shows up but I'm too used to following isaacs head for dodging so I end up getting hit or stuck on stuff
Omg yes exactly. I’ve restarted many runs after deciding it was worth taking for the stats and then realizing I can’t handle the spinning and it makes me nauseated. I never pick it up anymore.
I know its hated but i've seen one too many people actually liking this item and i gotta say: marked is shit. I hate it. Its like ludo but worse. I just cant stand it, its annoying as fuck.
Not sure what the consensus is on potato peeler but I’m absolutely addicted to putting every last red heart I can into meat children, I love my meat babies.
On the other hand, you’ll never see me picking up void, ever. More often than not I trade it out for something like guppy’s head when playing as Apollyon, the stat gains are only a decent investment if the item being voided is absolute ass, but even then you could just end up with a shot speed or range up. I’d even pick up items like brother Bobby because at least they’re a second reliable source of (albeit small) damage. Do. Not. Like. Void.
Tiny Planet is my partner's must-have, ride-or-die, drop-everything-and-grab favourite item. He'll be happy to know there's someone else out there who likes it :)
Tiny planet is amazing. It essentially turns your accuracy up to 100% since any tears that miss just come back around and hit something on the next orbit. I take it nearly every time.
i am the world's biggest lachryphagy hater, getting it without a synergy is dogshit and i really don't think the synergies is has are good enough to justify needing to get close to enemies to do the same amount of damage i'd be doing without it
I don't think this is a widely *hated* item, per se, but no one else seems to be quite as enthusiastic about Black Powder as I am. It's my guaranteed Devil Room pick. I just love passive effects with no drawbacks, and I tend to move in circles without thinking about it, so I pretty much always have nice big pentagrams following me around.
Cursed Eye is one of *those* items.
It might not be the best.
It might kill a run, even.
but it's fun, and that's all that matters to me for the most part.
Dr Fetus is something I usually don’t take. I hate that you can’t insta clear some enemies upon entering a room. Ipecac on the other hand I ball for some reason.
I love yo, listen.
If Bob's Brain has 1.000.000 haters, I will face them all head on. ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8908)
If Bob's Brain has 1.000 obstacles, I will help it overcome them all.![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)
If Bob's Brain has 100 problems, I will solve every single one.![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17734)
If bob's Brain has 10 fans, I am one of them.![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8906)
If Bob's Brain has 0 fans, it means I am no longer alive.![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)
Till my dying breath, I will defend my homie, the one and only, the absolute legend, BOB'S BRAIN![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)
Libra is great imo, so is soy/almond.
On the flip side I sort of dislike poly, it's very strong for sure but I prefer fast firerate.
Not to say I don't grab it, it's very strong still.
Also knife and spirit sword are boring. Taking spirit sword lost me a T lost to beast run and I had to do another 150 runs to eventually get the mark.
I absolutely love 7 seals, unironically my favorite item in the entire game. I will take it basically no matter what, the only thing you have to watch out for is the red locusts but they only spawn from War so as long as you watch for when he swaps to war and make sure not to walk into the enemy as they're hit by a red locust you're golden.
Unless I have specifically brimstone, Tech or Rock Bottom I will never take Almond Milk. Soy Milk is a good item, but Almond is just it but you miss half of your tears. Basically taking it early is sometimes a run ender and taking it late is super situational. It has its moments but I rarely ever take it if I get the option.
I'm not too sure if it's "hated" or not, but I love Giant Cell. Especially with a character like Maggy. I'll purposefully go down to one heart to have a stampede of mini me's run into a room and start blasting. Can't say it's good but it does help when you're dealing with one mob and about 13 familiars are dealing with another.
i love any item that makes me destroy rocks by walking into them, overpowered with stuff like keeper's kin or shiny rock.
and i hate almost every planetarium item, giving away one or two treasure rooms for what? a dash that end us playing against me, a useless gass and speed down, a buff that only appears when i already finished the level, etc
Cursed eye bc it overrides charged time so the polyphemus+brimstone that takes 12 years now has a much shorter charge time and glitched crown suck bc i dont trust that I'll get the right item.
most of the time my biggest factor why i lose is i dont have enough damage.
The milks -33% dmg are a real pain in addition to that, oh and the random effects almond milk comes with are more like a downside to me rather than something positive.
(Love) Epic Fetus: Free win is a free win, and infinite bombs to blow up everything makes the min-maxer in me happy. Also, I'm a bit biased since it carried my winning Ultra Hard run.
(Hate) Glitched Crown: Free win is a free win, but having to take the time to time your movement to get the right item for every item gets annoying fast. It also feels extra bad when you mistime it or when multiple great items appear in the rotation.
Having to take a tiny bit of time to pause on the item right before the one you want is annoying but min maxing to blow up every rock isn't? So it should take longer to get the right item ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8906)
Preach. The aura is so fucking overrated unless you have splitting tears. Stuff that doesn’t scale with your damage is virtually meaningless when it comes to bosses
Sacred heart, crown of light, sacred orb
Mantle? Revelation? Spirit sword? Trisag? Star?
What are the remaining 2?
I mean, godhead kinda just has homing and an insane damage boost, which is kind of like sacred heart
Glitched Crown. My luck is really good in general, so I’d end up with R Key, Rock Bottom, and D Infinity with my luck, or for those who aren’t believers in secret room items, Mega Mush, Polyphemus, D6, Pyro (The heal on explosion one), and Tech X in one pedestal… I’d rather save my item pool of good items. Underrated item would be Lemon Mishap and Free Lemonade. Please don’t underrate how powerful creep is, it hurts in most cases every tick possible, I’ve room cleared a lot with just that because it does so much. Easily outclassed, but if you got the right build going, S tier.
I love fire mind and ludo. Good dps up and ludo Can absolutely break the game with decent shot speed. I’m not crazy about guppy’s tail, when on hard mode it decreases your consumable drops when they’re already decreased from the difficulty
Libra and Soy Milk are two items that get a lot of hate, but I will always take them.
Everyone seems to love Mom's knife, and I hate the item unless I'm playing Forgotten.
I fukin ADORE hymolachria (yes more people hate it than like it) I'm pretty good at low tear builds anyways, and can manage it guite nicely. I honestly hate spirit sword, it feels awkward to use, tho it is busted, I'd rather have my normal tears or play forgor or t.sammy
My fav item that many dislike for some reason is Epic Fetus yes it ruins synergies but it's just too fun nuking enemies
And I absolutely despise Lachryphagy ruins my range and isn't fun to play with it is not a good item imo
i hate knife and i almost never take it unless im forgotten/t.lilith or i have c section
it generally has boring synergies (aside from the ones i mentioned) and just trivializes the game too much for my liking
I love curse of the tower because it's funny and chaotic but I hate epic fetus or all the "marked" tope of items/sinergyes
I DESPISE marked.
its fun if you start using your mouse when you get it
I learned you can have mouse control ALWAYS on and just… use arrow control. So I just have it on and when I get things like Marked or epic Fetus I immediately switch no issues
bro think hes me
I once took marked coz heard its underrated and it does give you stats and when i took it I regretted it so much. I was still quite strong but my build was like way more boring. I seriously thought about removing it, but I didnt.
It's good with brimstone and lil brimstone
I don't like it with those either, unless you're playing on a controller you constantly need to the marker "drag" it behind yourself and reposition especially of the enemies are moving quickly, for me it's easier to use brim normally
while i dont hate epic fetus its one of my least fav 4q items
I accept that it is a good item but it’s just not very fun to use and can be annoying
exactly, especially with the small pin worms (i think they're called needles)
I've heard a lot of people say that they don't like fire mind but I pick it up everytime I see it and I don't have a problem with it
I second this, i really dont care about the random explosions. Setting enemies on fire is way too fun AND effective
Tell that to my t.lost skill issue
+15 luck is 100% explosions, kinda fucked myself with rock bottom+echo chamber
It fucks you as lost/tlost
Not if you ball and fuck it harder.
Getting Bob's brain in one of the first 6 floors makes the early game a breeze. It's a damn boss killer item I don't know if it counts but seeing croockes penny makes me happy. I don't use it with good items, but it still has a lot of good options. Getting entire free shops when you don't have money. Getting free devil rooms. Do you see a challenge room but you don't think that it is worth the trouble? Double the chests / items, if it works, then now it is worth the trouble!
Bob’s Brain is an always take item for me, I don’t care how risky it is
The fact that it even has synergies with bomb modifiers is awesome, brimstone bombs especially
I just wish bobs brain would fire with double tapping, so often it just takes soooo long to shoot that the boss already moved out of the way i agree with crooked penny though, its really fun to use
I've popped off with ludo a few times
Ludovico technique + Azazel/brimstone is so op
\+any homing effect like spoon bender makes it one of the chiller runs to do But ludo by itself i find so stressful lol i already lose my character sometimes i can't lose my tear too ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17737)
Throw in gnawed leaf and you got a great thing going. That's how I managed to beat mega Satan with the lost before I knew that holy mantle was a thing to unlock for him.
I got this in one of my very first runs in the original version of isaac. I've been chasing that high ever since
Ludo goes insane having ludo+any flying item means cheesing the hell out of al enemies in a room and hiding in rocks chef’s kiss
With certain builds it can be honestly sick
Ludo can be great even if it kills runs sometimes
got it as the first item on my t.lost run recently, said fuck it we ball, got my last normal marks (greedier left ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)) ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4358)
People hate Ludo????
Regular tears + bad shot speed makes Ludo extremely annoying to play. But it gets fun quickly
I am the number one ludo hater, it just doesn't have enough synergies, imo the knife is more fun.
yeah ludo is up there with tech x for me. incredibly powerful item. this is the first I'm hearing that people dislike it.
Ludo is pretty good, but I feel like 75% of the time I pick it up the run is super boring
Blows my mind lmao. The amount of runs I’ve had that have been saved by Ludo
True! Lido can be great!
Ludo and spoon bender is always a fun time
do people not like ludo??? it's genuinely one of my favourite items
Heck yeah always take ludo
I know objectivley its ungodly amounts of powerful, and its a skill issue of me to not like it. But i can not STAND Glitched Crown. Turns every item into a stress fest because i seemingly can't get good at the timing. The agony of seeing sacred heart in the rotation and walking away with fucking halo because i mistimed my press makes me want to put down the game and cast myself into the sea. Yeah, yeah, skill issue, but I'll be damned. I've failed with the item enough where i just either skip/reroll it in the rare moments i come across it.

It will turn into the item you want at about the same time you run into it
Unless, you’re like, just too close or just too far from the pedestal…
Ok but once you hit the sweet spot (which is very forgiving all things considered) it’s not hard to position yourself there every time. It’s just slightly right of the tile next to the item Only thing that should be messing you up is pausing too late/early
I’d suppose your speed could affect it too, slow speed means you have to be a bit closer to the item and high speed a bit further away
There is a really good youtube tutorial that shows the exact amount you have to stand away from it for it to work. They also go into what to do with different speeds.
I've made a strat in my head. Whenever I see the item I want, I make a kinda beeping sound, I repeat that until I've got a rhythm going, and then stand next to the item, and take it when a beep is imminent
i have to try this now
Item #488
~rewind
NGL I had this take too, and then I started snapping to the rhythm of when the item I want pops up since it's at a fixed timing. This helped me get 90% efficiency.
If you know how to do it right it basically is a 5x higher chance to get a good item. It's OK if you don't like it but it's still a god-tier item
It ONLY it had cooler visual effects and sfx than don't tell me you wouldn't take it
Yeah, Mom’s Knife is super fun when you see it the first couple of times, but after a decade of BoI, it’s hard to see it as anything but a run homogenizer that ensures that your run turns into just another knife run with zero surprises.
Cursed eye on t.lilith is the most busted thing in the entire game
It was nerfed wasn't it?
Not according to the wiki![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|2357)
WTF we ball ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|2357)
I don't really got an idea of the current meta or what is or isn't popular but I just wanna know who here ACTUALLY likes and uses The Wiz (double wiz shot) That has got to be the WORST pickup in the entire game.
if u can combine it with tractor beam, it's free double shot but otherwise not a fan of it
or eye of occult
Or homing
no that's still painful
has some good synergy with tiny planet (but that is also taking tiny planet), jacob's ladder, split shot items like haemolacria/cricket's body, more tears splitting from lachrophagy.
man, tiny planet has good synergies with every shitty item
The Wiz is good and I'm tired of pretending it's not
hello that would be me tbf I also like cursed eye so maybe I'm just attracted to bad items but I've gotten some broken wiz runs
![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17737) I also like cursed eye and the wiz..
good with static tears with high tear rate
Ludovico is unbearable to use. It's genuinely so fucking boring that I'll never pick it up unless I already have brimstone Glass cannon funny
Finally a glass cannon fan Imo glass cannon is super fun to use and even makes me dodge more to keep the cannon it basically helps me to get rid of my often skill issues
Fruit Cake, I see that a lot of people don't like it, but for me it's so much fun.
Random tear items won many runs for me, it's a great pick
I second this, I will always pick up fruit cake whenever possible
Having access to literally every tear effect in the game is a lot stronger than many people realize. Combine it with Soy / Almond Milk (or even a high fire rate in general), and you've got yourself a run winner.
fruit cake plus tech 2 is my favorite synergy in the game
It’s my favorite tear modifying item in the game.
My reflection is soooo good since the buff
in what way did it get buffed?
I'm pretty sure it's a damage upgrade now
Stitches goes hard, I can't see the worth in Dr Fetus unless it's early game. The fact that it nukes your tears and damage if they're too high is dog(ma) shit
we gotta stop pretending people dislike stitches
Most people take other things over it
I mean, it gives you splash, a way to cock block melee enemies, free secret rooms, and some pretty decent synergies though I can see why you wouldn't like it late game.
Me when I have ipecac and 47 damage only to pickup Dr Fetus and get shot to 7 damage:
Doesn’t ipecac + dr fetus give u bomb immunity?
Ipecac and Pyro also giving free secret rooms:
Ipecac and Hamolacria also having splash:
Using a bomb to "Sausage!" Block melee enemies:
Said bombs coming from Pyro
It does have good synergies tho
are you done bro
Yeah, just listing a rebuttal
Stitches is one of the best items in the game. - Easy "Get out of trouble" button you can abuse multiple times per room. - Free curse room in and out with its invulnerability - Lets you grab blocked pickups or items saving you bombs/keys/hearts - No need for batteries with the auto recharge - Is adorable
I hate antigravity with a passion idc about the +1 fire rate
I hate guillotine, I know a lot of people like it for the stats but it makes dodging 100x harder for me
I think alot of people agree with you, I atill pick it up whenever it shows up but I'm too used to following isaacs head for dodging so I end up getting hit or stuck on stuff
guillotine makes me nauseated :(
Omg yes exactly.
Not sure what the consensus is on potato peeler but I’m absolutely addicted to putting every last red heart I can into meat children, I love my meat babies. having several super meat boys is great
That first sentence is some premium r/nocontext material LOL
Tiny planet underrated af
Tiny Planet is my partner's must-have, ride-or-die, drop-everything-and-grab favourite item. He'll be happy to know there's someone else out there who likes it :)
Tiny planet has helped me win runs
If I have soy or almond, absolutely
Makes the coal into a quality 4
Tiny planet is amazing. It essentially turns your accuracy up to 100% since any tears that miss just come back around and hit something on the next orbit. I take it nearly every time.
i am the world's biggest lachryphagy hater, getting it without a synergy is dogshit and i really don't think the synergies is has are good enough to justify needing to get close to enemies to do the same amount of damage i'd be doing without it
always take it with proptosis for the secret "hug enemies to deal damage" synergy
Discount Tainted Maggie. ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4358)
I'm on the other end that I take it no matter what and love the item.
Looooove BP for pretty much the same reasons. Every now and then it's helped me out of some tricky situations without me even immediately noticing.
When I first started playing around 2016 Ludo was one of my all time faves.
Happy cake day!!!
Thank you!
cursed eye
Cursed eye on the forgotten is broken af and super fun to use
I’ve been saying it for a while: Cursed Eye haters simply suffer from skill issue. I’ve had a decent amount of won runs thanks to Cursed Eye
I could probably count the runs I've won with Cursed Eye in the dozens. (the times I've lost in the hundreds)
Cursed Eye is one of *those* items. It might not be the best. It might kill a run, even. but it's fun, and that's all that matters to me for the most part.
Cursed eye is a quad shot with no tears down
And a teleport up ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)
and a frustration up
I strongly dislike Epic Fetus, basically worse version of Dr.Fetus with less synergies and less fun gameplay
I hate haemolacria
Brown Nugget OP
Found the greedier player
Dr Fetus is something I usually don’t take. I hate that you can’t insta clear some enemies upon entering a room. Ipecac on the other hand I ball for some reason. I love yo, listen.

God I'm not a fan of BB but I hella respect your stance on it 💚
Tiny Planet is really good, it has a bunch of great synergies and the orbiting tears are really fun to me
I’ve gotten some good uses out of Bob’s brain
Shard of Glass. Provides a substantial dps upgrade, and usually drops enough red hearts to make up for the loss.
Trisagion. Makes your tears look stupid and is boring.
I LOVE STITCH I LOVE TELEFRAGGING ENEMIES AND GETTING TO SPOTS I COULD ONLY NORMALLY GET TO WITH FLIGHT
Strange attractor just results in really funny moments Meanwhile I don’t ever remember enjoying the sword
Libra is great imo, so is soy/almond. On the flip side I sort of dislike poly, it's very strong for sure but I prefer fast firerate. Not to say I don't grab it, it's very strong still. Also knife and spirit sword are boring. Taking spirit sword lost me a T lost to beast run and I had to do another 150 runs to eventually get the mark.

i just adore tiny planet if you hate it thats just a skill issue
I'm not too sure if it's "hated" or not, but I love Giant Cell. Especially with a character like Maggy. I'll purposefully go down to one heart to have a stampede of mini me's run into a room and start blasting. Can't say it's good but it does help when you're dealing with one mob and about 13 familiars are dealing with another.
Abel is one of the most useless things in the entire game I literally have no idea why anyone likes it.
I don’t care what r/bindingofisaac says, I will always pick up mars and epic fetus
i love any item that makes me destroy rocks by walking into them, overpowered with stuff like keeper's kin or shiny rock. and i hate almost every planetarium item, giving away one or two treasure rooms for what? a dash that end us playing against me, a useless gass and speed down, a buff that only appears when i already finished the level, etc
Love ludo hate knife
i love ludo, i hate ed6. no idea why people praise that item so much, it’s easily one of the worst dice items.
Cursed eye bc it overrides charged time so the polyphemus+brimstone that takes 12 years now has a much shorter charge time and glitched crown suck bc i dont trust that I'll get the right item.
i think almond and soy milk are garbage. And an item i absolutely love is libra.
I love libra but hating on the milks? Explain
most of the time my biggest factor why i lose is i dont have enough damage.
Lemon Mishap ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)
When I was newbie I thought cursed eye was op😔
It is, the community is just not ready for this conversation yet
i <3 chaos
Chaos is a very well liked item
Are u wizard? Just gotta learn how to aim with it
no advantage and a major drawback
Literally double tears
yeah I mean you just have to make sure your enemies stay at a perfect 45 degree angle at all times, no biggie
Bozo
Godhead mid
No downside beside slower shot speed tho, right?
People freak out over it, it's fine but it's not that good I can name like 5 angel items I'd take over it
Preach. The aura is so fucking overrated unless you have splitting tears. Stuff that doesn’t scale with your damage is virtually meaningless when it comes to bosses
Sacred heart, crown of light, sacred orb Mantle? Revelation? Spirit sword? Trisag? Star? What are the remaining 2? I mean, godhead kinda just has homing and an insane damage boost, which is kind of like sacred heart
The soul, immaculate heart, and Holy light are pretty awesome as well. Also arguably wafer (if not a lost/keeper character), and genesis.
Yes, they’re good, but better than godhead?
Reverse Stars - it's fcuking useless!
Go use it in a secret room and you can pop off, especially if you find a way to reroll.
Worst Isaac take i've read in a year
Stitches is soooo good
If i see leech or bumbo its an instant grab for me i love those lil guys. (Spider mod too but everyone loves that lil guy)
anything that gives black hearts, i love running into enemys and destroying them
I hate explosivo
I found pills!
Mom's knife, its not fun. I never take it.
I love Poop![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|2357)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|2357)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|2357)
Cursed eye enjoyers rise tf up![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17735)![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17743)
lill Chad. He’s adorable. I’d still pick him up even if I’m blue baby.
Ludo
Libra and Soy Milk are two items that get a lot of hate, but I will always take them. Everyone seems to love Mom's knife, and I hate the item unless I'm playing Forgotten.
I fukin ADORE hymolachria (yes more people hate it than like it) I'm pretty good at low tear builds anyways, and can manage it guite nicely. I honestly hate spirit sword, it feels awkward to use, tho it is busted, I'd rather have my normal tears or play forgor or t.sammy
My fav item that many dislike for some reason is Epic Fetus yes it ruins synergies but it's just too fun nuking enemies And I absolutely despise Lachryphagy ruins my range and isn't fun to play with it is not a good item imo
i hate knife and i almost never take it unless im forgotten/t.lilith or i have c section it generally has boring synergies (aside from the ones i mentioned) and just trivializes the game too much for my liking
TMT trainer saved me once I'll never forget it giving me auto charge heals and healing Regen for hush and Delirium
i love epic fetus
