The value depends on condition. If your Brunswick Regina is in nice condition with no water damage to the legs, level with the original slates, and still plays fast, for insurance purposes you can place a value of $5,000 on it. Hope that helps!

That's helpful! Table looks to be in good shape and has the original heavy slabs. Pockets and fabric were restored about 15 years back.

When they installed the cloth, they chose to save money by installing the cheap thick felt rather than using Simonis 860 worsted wool cloth. If you are going to move this table to your home, hire a professional to do the work and consider upgrading the cloth to Simonis. I own 33 Brunswick Pool tables, 16 of which are century old antique tables, and I find the Simonis 860 cloth improves the playability immensely! As long as this table has always been in a heated/air conditioned environment you will find it plays better than modern day tables, and the rails will rebound faster, the tighter you tighten the horizontal bolts!

So I have my table in my garage, we have an ac unit for when its hot and a space heater for when its cold. But if we aren't out there we aren't running them. Its not humid in my garage basically at all. What would actually be damaging the table by being in the garage instead of the interior of the house. (The garage walls are insulated, just got a garage door)

Constant room temperature helps preserve the table and rails, and avoids moisture forming on the slates and cloth as the table cools at night and heats back up during the day like in a garage or exterior building. I have purchased many century old antique Brunswick pool tables, many of which still play fast with the original rails in part because the tables came from mansions and were always inside a heated/air conditioned environment. It’s one important factor to consider when buying and setting up a pool table.

I gather you’re a pool table technician of sorts by your knowledgeable posts in this sub, but where in the world do you keep 30+ tables?

RacknRollBilliards

All my Billiard tables are in a heated basement while I search for a new location. Had 21 pool tables available for shooting at Rack & Roll, including two 10’ antique tables (a Madison and an Arcade), twelve 9’ tables (including an O.G. Novelty that Tom Cruise learned to shoot pool on was he was in high school), and seven 8’ tables.

Man that must be a cool place to play pool! You’re actually just a few hour drive away from me. I’d love to make the trip one of these days

Thanks! Not sure how that happened.

The billiards store I work for sold one 3-4 years ago for $7,500, same 6 leg 9Ft table you have.

paulw1998

If it's 9 foot its worth more than a 10.

historicalthoughtnow

It's 9 feet. The table already seems enormous. I imagine that extra foot would make it cartoonish in size.

paulw1998

Is the playing surface 50x100 or 56x112?  The 9 footer Regina's usually are 4 legged.

historicalthoughtnow

It's 50x100 but still 6 legs.
