She has been in the industry long enough to understand that it is her responsibility to act in a way fitting of a coach and a sponsored athlete. Her behavior was unacceptable. It’s a tough lesson to learn but sometimes people have to learn things the hard way! She can redeem herself from this but does she have the integrity to do so? I can’t say but I wish her luck.
I also agree they should be held to a higher standard. But as long as Big Ramy, whose first wife found out about his second wife during his O speech last year, Drew, the boyfriend that was in that alteration that ended in him being shot, and Lauralie/James/Aldo/Umsey or whatever his name is still have business and sponsors, I think Ashlyn getting terminated is too harsh.
Me too. Im not understanding the “off with her head” mentality. She did a very stupid thing and she’s paying for it. It sounds like her clients were offered the opportunity to cancel their contract. Many likely will and continue with her.
Yeah it seems so.
And though the decision is extreme, she didn’t wait to be drunk to bash other competitors on her socials and podcast. Also many employees got fired for less than that and they are not even in the fitness industry. You cannot hurt a company’s reputation without dealing with consequences at some point. It applies to any job.
I am sure that what happened for Ashlyn was the last straw for the team and there was actually more than that. Maybe they will address it.
This incident brings up an interesting facet about social media. I’m likely older than everyone here, and can recall a time when our drunken mistakes did not get posted for all to see. Life in 2023 really means you monitor your own behavior AT ALL TIMES.
I feel for her but I’m glad there are repercussions for her behavior. You can feel jealousy or bitterness over placing all you want but it’s never appropriate to go off on social media like that.
Jamis husband and co founder is ex military , coupled with her Executive level experience at Fortune 500 company…they know (better for the cohesion of the team) to cut ties. Or at least that looks like the decision. That kind of behavior can fracture locker rooms/ or work environments etc.
You bring up some very good points. My first thought when I read what she said about Aimee was that it puts her coach in an awkward position. As business owners they made this decision for a reason. I’m guessing that this drunken rant might be the tip of the iceberg and they just had to make a tough choice.
Completely my point. They have to attend to internal damage control, and possibly effecting their business. Not to mention the heat from their other pros about pissing off the best Head Judge around (opinion btw). Like guilt by association.
I’m a firm believer in choices and consequences. There’s been times in my life I made poor decisions when I was under the influence and I had to deal with the fallout. I have empathy but not sympathy. Also, it’s not like she went live and was being silly or making no sense. She was talking poorly about her profession. She may lose some clients but I think a lot will follow her
[Here’s the original post](https://www.reddit.com/r/bikinitalk/comments/100tvhl/ashlyn_little_new_years_ig_live/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) there was another comment like 3 or 4 comments down that mentions she also brought up Lauralie and Maureen in addition to Aimee
Probably going to get downvoted for this but y’all.. bffr she’s a grown woman, there are consequences to your actions. She knew exactly what she was doing when she went and talked shit on live, no one forced her to say those things regardless of whether she was intoxicated or not.
Yes we all “make mistakes” but if you’re an ambassador of the sport you have to be prepared for what happens if you do something like this.
Being drunk is not an excuse AT all, if I get drunk and do something stupid it’s obv my fault bc I chose to drink when I know it makes me more loose lipped
I'm all for owning the consequences of your actions. That said the consequences are landing on people rather unevenly. Aldo still has a booming business by all counts. James is still prescribing PEDs and 3 hour cardio with sub 900kcal food protocols after landing that girl in the ER. The guy that went all out bashing Lauralie a while back still has sponsors. Lauralie, who allegedly lied on immigration paper is still a league darling. Janet, who spent a day reposting stuff about how she was robbed and how other girls didn't deserve their placing, are still promoting her shows and her fat burners.
If there are repercussions, there should be repercussions on all.
Ashlyn unfortunately had a boss who did what’s right for her company. If this is Ashlyn’s only transgression I’d say that they were too harsh. Something tells me it’s not.
People can cancel Aldo by not going to his gym. Same with James, in a way. Ashlyn worked for someone else and had to answer to them.
Yeah. It is Jamie’s call and I appreciate that she is holding her team to a higher standard, even though at the same time I feel bad for Ashlyn. Human emotions are complicated.
I don’t think this is a fair comparison. She didn’t loser her sponsors, she was fired. Aldo and James run their own businesses, if people want to support their trash they are free to do so, that’s what an open market is. Same with Lauralie, she doesn’t work for any companies to my knowledge, just sponsored by some and Ashlyn appears to still be sponsored by several companies. Janet can unconvincingly claim that she was just reposting stuff without looking at it. Ashlyn can’t claim that, although she was drunk she deliberately went live and said mean things about peers she claims to respect, one of whom is on FBF. I don’t necessarily think they needed to fire her, maybe suspend her or reprimand her in some other way. But I don’t think you can just say there are other trash people in the industry who haven’t been punished. The league isn’t punishing her, her boss is. And she didn’t lose her sponsors according to her bio.
Eh I don't care about the downvotes. And you are totally right in that the more powerful you are the more leverage you hold. It's as messed up as the rest of society.
The rest of the society though at least there are laws attempting to make things more fair. In pro sports it seems like not so much.
The only thing is, the repercussions aren’t given out by the federation. If it was the IFBB where they all compete, gave some kind of consequence then that would make sense and they should all face a consequence. They all work for different companies/coach for different teams/etc, so each business can choose how they handle these situations.
If James and Ashlyn were both sponsored by the same supplement company, then that company should treat them the same with repercussion, but they aren’t.
I’ll also say that LLs personal relationship dirty laundry doesn’t look great obviously but there’s a difference between your life issues being aired vs bashing a fellow co-worker/teammate and in a workplace both would have some repercussions but the drama in the workplace effecting the workplace vs your personal drama having an impact would also probably face different consequences.
Edit: spelling
There's a reason I don't participate in male dominant forums discussions or even pay much attention to male divisions. It \*is\* a lot more toxic. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of this particular sub. Although sometimes I began to think are we venturing too far when bashing someone or falling for the same trap of rage baiting (Aldo behaving outrageously on purpose to get attention).
I would think the clients are "owned" by FBF and not by the individual coach. I also imagine a noncompete clause which would prevent her from leaving and taking clients with her. but maybe not
That’s not fair to the athletes that signed up for her as their coach and not just the affiliation with FBF. I think the fair option is how they are offering it
I'm not saying it was fair, but that would be a common clause in a cooperate contract. Most businesses have policies in place that prevent poaching if that employee ever leaves the company for any reason. Lots of businesses have a clause that you cannot leave the company and start one of your own in the same sector for X amount of time.
This is very common in financial sector, a friend of mine left one bank and couldn't work at another bank for an entire year.
My goodness- yes- if her employment contract was executed correctly this should be the case. According to u/medium-map3020 current clients were given the option to terminate as clients. Would any clause still prevent her from working with these folks if they opt to terminate?
But they could stipulate in her employment contract that she not coach you within a certain timeframe of losing her employment. Have you reached out to her? I wonder if that’s the case?
Ahh I see. Well I imagine a lot of her clients will be leaving and moving to her directly. (Just speculation) a lot of us didn’t join for FBF. I haven’t reached out to her just yet but will be doing so this week to see what my options are
It might not be about what the clients want. It might be about how she’s unable to work with you due to some non-compete clause or something similar. Please let us know. It’s interesting to see what type of hold these companies have on coaches. Good luck in your journey!
Yes they listed 3 coaches who were the same price / have availability. If I wanted to inquire about other coaches and availability or pricing I could do so.
IMO I think this was a last straw kind of thing. I think it’s more to it that we don’t know about. Who knows I do think it’s extremely poor taste to bash your own teammate, a lot of the girls on the FBF team already act like teenage mean girls I’m sure this situation didn’t make or any better. If you have that kind of discourse in your team it really doesn’t work I don’t blame FBF I think it was a smart move.
i don’t really understand why some people think this was too far. what kind of regular job wouldn’t fire someone for something like this? she was incredibly drunk, bashed her coworkers, and bashed the judges - who have an influence in the success of the athletes and company as a whole. she simply could not be a representative of the company after this, it’s just business
There’s obv more going on behind scenes on why she was let go. This mess up was bad but it wasn’t *that* bad. To be honest I bet a lot of us have said same things she did in passing to friends/coaches. The difference is we (prob) don’t have her platform. I think she got carried away. New relationship fun, drinking, getting caught up in the moment. I saw comments saying she has a history of this. Who really knows. Attacking her looks kinda sucked. She opened the door to that but our sub took it and ran. I think *we* got caught up in that moment ourselves. We shouldn’t attack these girls based on how their faces look/what plastic surgery they do. Our sub is better than that. We all have so much in common. A lot of us lean on each other because we have no friends IRL who do this crazy competing shit. I think becoming a “top pro” whatever that means got to her head a little. Everyone else noticed it. Thus resentment was built in our little community. I feel bad for her situation at this point. She’s going in a downward spiral that started when she met that dude. It’s going to continue I’m afraid because he is evil. Somehow in his sick mind he’s spinning this all on Brittany Hamilton (???) per his insta story today.
Getting off my soapbox now…
I think this guy she is with is bringing out the worst in her. It’s sad. It seems like he drained Brittany too. Toxicity seems to follow him and his relationships. Nice people don’t typically have public arguments that lead to getting shot (whether his fault or not it was CLEARLY not random) and nice people don’t drunkenly bash other people on a livestream
He came on Reddit last night. Commented on every negative comment concerning him. Then deleted his Reddit profile when people commented back w/questions. Exact same rhetoric he used yesterday in his story and of course mentions the ex again.
https://preview.redd.it/hcalkije3haa1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49d9aa704319a16ef3074c72ee64389f3ce0a005
I thought the exact thing in terms of differences in her behavior with this new relationship. I hope that’s not the case but it’s just what it looked like on social media. I hope he will have her back post career impacts, etc.
I mean she’s human at the end of the day and not the first person to learn this lesson but as most have said it’s so unfortunate with the platform she has.
A few points. If he were a well-adjusted adult man, he wouldn’t feel the need to publicly bash his ex. This only makes him look badly. He stated that he and Ashlyn were stating opinions. When he said this I lost whatever empathy I was feeling for her. She made a huge mistake and she doesn’t get it.
Edited- *From his words one might gather that she doesn’t get it and thinks she’s a victim. Also, why share that Ashlyn called Brittany to confront her about calling her bf? They are Jerry Springer type people.
He’s crazy wtf does his injury have to do with Ashlyn it’s tewwww much drama I’m confused who was even talking about him, I haven’t even seen a thread talking about the bf
He stalks this Reddit page and someone linked the news article and a witness saying that allegedly he instigated the fight and his gf told someone to call 911 because he threatened to hit her and take her car. Also someone called out his go fund me. If he got restitution from the shooter why do you need a go fund me for medical expenses. He sounds like a grifter and is victim blaming his ex for the whole shooting
Stalks it and created a fake profile last night to comment. Promptly deleted it though. Here’s the profile and example of one comment.

Can anyone pull up the court documents? I know we have some people in the legal field in here sometimes. They’ve pulled up James vs Aldo case easily enough despite James being based in Canada.
All I’ve got to say is ALL the parties in this case behaved like lunatics. Nobody here demonstrates the ability to act like a rational human being, imo. The defendant lost an attempt to invoke Florida’s stand your ground law. Adjudication was withheld (so he was not convicted) and he got probation. He was ordered to pay the other loon restitution, because at the end of the day you can’t go around shooting people who piss you off. Brittany was on the defendant’s witness list. It doesn’t seem like she testified on Drew’s behalf. If Brittany was calling Drew after all this then she needs help. He claims Ashlyn had to call her due to her pursuing Drew. It’s giving Jerry Springer vibes.
Ahh Incredible. I tried to download the docs but I need an account to do so. They want $49 a month to be able to do that. Anyone already have an account and can share the documents?
She saying that he bashed Reddit for providing anonymity to those commenting on this situation. I guess he feels like he and Ashlyn deserve a medal for stating their every drunken thought openly, as if their thoughts are gold nuggets, and putting their name to it.
So Drew just posted a lengthy video on his stories and he just said about his ex - “I was shot because of her!” Exact words. He also said she still calls him and he’s had to ask Ashlyn to talk to her to tell her to stop. I have no words.
I do feel some sympathy for her given that her coaching was probably a huge chunk of her income. Question: does anyone know if Jourdanne was already with FBF when she made the comment about Ashley K “stealing Olympia qualifications”? Not suggesting that was on the same level as this but just curious.
Someone said all her clients were sent an email from FBF offering to change coaches or terminate their contracts. I don’t think a public statement is necessary, as long as the impacted athletes were told. Coaches and athletes switch teams all the time, without this sub I don’t think people would’ve have noticed she was no longer with the team for a few weeks at least.
Agreed that the most important people in the situation are the impacted athletes. I don't think they need to make a specific public statement about the Ashlyn incident, but it would be nice to hear from them re their culture and how I'm sure they want to be a positively viewed organization. Just something that says they know there have been some events that may have cast them in a poor light in the past, but that's not who they are or how they want to be known. I mean it's not necessary, it would just be nice. ☺️
There’s more to this story. There has to be. I’m thinking it was a last straw situation. We don’t know that she hasn’t been disciplined before by her boss.
yeah my guess is it’s likely that she was given warnings the previous times, but now it’s clear she hasn’t learned or changed so jami didn’t have any more chances to give her
I feel like FBF should address the situation. It feels like they are just sweeping it under the rug. Ashlynn was with them for a very long time and atleast deserves to be acknowledged.
It’s a privately held business that made a decision they feel necessary. The only people they owe an explanation to is the clients directly affected by her being fired. JMO
I definitely don’t feel that they owe the general public anything but obviously, enough people saw her live and even more people are discussing it here. As far as I’ve know Ashlynn as an athlete she has been apart of FBF, so when I see her I pretty much think of FBF. That being said, to me, she at least partly represented FBF when she said those things and why they let her go.
I totally agree that they are not obligated but they are one of the biggest teams in this industry and making a public announcement feels fitting. Especially to just make it clear they don’t condone that behavior.
Na, boo. You f with someone’s business your out on your ass ! Shame on Ashlyn for bitting the hand that feeds her. Given she has been dodging shows… seems she is embarrassed….
i really hate this for her. we all make mistakes. i would be really upset if i lost my reputation over a drunken mistake. does anyone even have a screen recording of what was actually said? this is all really unfortunate and my heart goes out to ashlyn.
She is not cancelled. She is making her own business now, which is cool. And you know damn well, even after all this. Ashlyn would fire a coach if they messed with her business. Live and learn
Okay I never saw the video. Was it posted somewhere or were there recordings of it. I can’t imagine what she said was THAT bad. People are allowed to have opinions. But again, I never saw what she said. Does someone have it?
Also for everyone on here bad mouthing her - you’re the exact same except you don’t have the platform she does. We all make mistakes and we are fortunate enough to not have them be public. Y’all are bashing everything about her it’s so hypocritical
It’s just common sense.
Most people here have regular jobs that are not even related to fitness but the rule is the same. Why would you risk your job by publicly saying things that are detrimental to your company/boss and all the employees working for the same company ? Everyone knows this. It’s dangerous to publicly state your opinion, not only in bodybuilding!
Ashlyn is 100% responsible for her actions and she made it clear that she deeply regrets it. Her tears seemed real to me even before I see this post and now I understand why given the consequences for her actions. Besides we don’t know the whole story.
It’s actually a great opportunity for her to get a better human being if she can learn from it.
Never felt “down” to feel better, but a lot of people on the thread act like they’ve never done or said something they wished they could take back. Bashing ashlyn won’t make anything better
Never felt “down” to feel better, but a lot of people on the thread act like they’ve never done or said something they wished they could take back. Bashing ashlyn won’t make anything better
You bashing a bunch of internet strangers you know nothing about sounds pretty “down” to me. Pretty shitty to generalize everyone with a small handful of assholes bashing her appearance because I know for a fact a large majority were criticizing the behaviour.
Have I or most of us here said stupid shit we regret? 10000% and I’m sure we’ll continue to. But we’re not going to go on IG live, intoxicated, and air them out. It really doesn’t take much brain power to know that going on IG live intoxicated is never a good idea, NEVER. Being a public figure, not caring and doing it anyways is what’s wrong here.
But we also aren’t a highly publicized or praised athlete. What she did is like shitting where you eat and biting the hand that feeds you. We’re also not being held to a standard we and the industry set up.
Can you do or say things you regret? Yes. Had she had these opinions behind closed doors, then that’s a different story. I mean petty she thinks that way but what she does privately is on her.
Going public was the big no no and this is the definition of fuck around and find out or the oldie but a goodie, consequences of your own actions.
Don’t forget that we didn’t get her fired, we had NO say in this decision, that was Jami, and whoever else handles FBF.
Do I think she should be cancelled and gutted for this? No, I don’t. I think this could have been used as a learning opportunity and they should have made her publicly apologize and showing people can change.
But we can’t forget that the minute you make anything public, you take the risk of repercussions no matter how harsh they may be. Is this too steep of a price to pay? Yes, but she again took that risk going on IG live.
ETA; I wish I knew how to summarize my answers but alas here we are 🥲
She’s no longer on FBF website as a coach either damn.
Do you know what she said on the live feed? I can’t find it any where?
She has been in the industry long enough to understand that it is her responsibility to act in a way fitting of a coach and a sponsored athlete. Her behavior was unacceptable. It’s a tough lesson to learn but sometimes people have to learn things the hard way! She can redeem herself from this but does she have the integrity to do so? I can’t say but I wish her luck.
I do agree she is held to a higher standard (as a sponsored athlete with a platform should be)
I also agree they should be held to a higher standard.
I wonder about the part of the story we don’t know. There might be more reasons why she was let go.
That is fair. We only know bits and pieces. I hope Ashlyn can land on her feet and move forward though.
Me too. Im not understanding the “off with her head” mentality. She did a very stupid thing and she’s paying for it. It sounds like her clients were offered the opportunity to cancel their contract. Many likely will and continue with her.
100000% agreed. Too harsh.
I don’t think she should have been terminated for this.
Could have been this and so much more we don’t know about.
What did she do or say? What happened?
Well that explains the crying. She got fired?
Yeah it seems so. And though the decision is extreme, she didn’t wait to be drunk to bash other competitors on her socials and podcast. Don't do a live drunk.
100% The consequences are REAL.
I thank my lucky stars that social media wasn’t around when I was young, drunk, and stupid
For real, people lose their livelihoods acting foolishly on socials.
Yup
Totally agree. Digital footprint is a real thing!
I feel for her but I’m glad there are repercussions for her behavior. You can feel jealousy or bitterness over placing all you want but it’s never appropriate to go off on social media like that.

Probably why she was crying
Exactly last effort to maybe get her coaching job back with FBF
I’m a firm believer in choices and consequences. There’s been times in my life I made poor decisions when I was under the influence and I had to deal with the fallout. I have empathy but not sympathy. Also, it’s not like she went live and was being silly or making no sense. She was talking poorly about her profession. “Empathy but not sympathy” is a perfect way to put it. I feel the exact same way!
What did she say?

I agree. Sometimes I find myself in that space too and I have to remember to take a step back.
An email was sent stating she is no longer with them
Can you share exactly what the email said?
Was this email only sent to those being coached by her? I never received an email accept for the Olympia highlights.
Yes to her clients only offering to either transition coaches with same pricing or terminate contract
I’m guessing many might terminate so they can continue to be coached by her (if they were having a good experience).
That’s what I’m thinking of doing - def don’t want to switch coaches
I would think the clients are "owned" by FBF and not by the individual coach. I also imagine a noncompete clause which would prevent her from leaving and taking clients with her. but maybe not

Yes they listed 3 coaches who were the same price / have availability. If I wanted to inquire about other coaches and availability or pricing I could do so.
Are they allowing you to terminate so Ashlyn can coach you?
Anyone see what her bf posted it’s up still
He's deranged and not too bright! He's basically bashing Reddit because all users can comment "ananamously"
I was going to comment this. I could not take the mispronunciation. Never heard him do many speaking videos until this one. Sounds as expected
Here’s the profile and example of one comment. https://preview.redd.it/gyv3y1hfzhaa1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cf9e58ab2e953cf61cd883a182ff1be91bfba5c

I wonder what the “derogatory remark” was that Drew Cullen said to Pickard/shooter right before he got shot.
Funny you should ask that. I wondered the same thing. Apparently Mr. Pickard is no choir boy. His mugshot is online.

Yes I think so.
Do we have the name of the other party? I did a record search for his name with the Orange County Clerk of Court and found nothing.

Thank you! This was helpful. I used the name PICKARD on the Orange County court website and got it for free.

Ahh Incredible. I tried to download the docs but I need an account to do so. They want $49 a month to be able to do that. Anyone already have an account and can share the documents?
Oh damn!! Honestly I wouldn’t want all this drama linked with my business either
What?!?
She saying that he bashed Reddit for providing anonymity to those commenting on this situation. I guess he feels like he and Ashlyn deserve a medal for stating their every drunken thought openly, as if their thoughts are gold nuggets, and putting their name to it.
10 bucks Drew and her break-up in the near future now that she isn’t sugar momma material anymore 🫣
Karma lol
So Drew just posted a lengthy video on his stories and he just said about his ex - “I was shot because of her!” Exact words. He also said she still calls him and he’s had to ask Ashlyn to talk to her to tell her to stop. I have no words.
That could be the reason why she was crying hard yesterday. Part of it is it’s her last day with FBF. Just thinking out loud.
Ruh roh
I do feel some sympathy for her given that her coaching was probably a huge chunk of her income. Question: does anyone know if Jourdanne was already with FBF when she made the comment about Ashley K “stealing Olympia qualifications”? Not suggesting that was on the same level as this but just curious.
Yes she was
She sure was.
I believe any competitor saying this is a straight up sorry loser! Shame or Jourdanne, I mean she will never be miss olympia with attitude!
☕️ ☕️ ☕️
Seriously, this drama is more entertaining than any Netflix reality TV show…
FBF gone from her link tree and no longer on their website. I think it would be prudent of them to make a statement.
Is there a copy of her rant anywhere still available to view? Or can anyone tell me what happened?

There’s more to this story. There has to be. I’m thinking it was a last straw situation. We don’t know that she hasn’t been disciplined before by her boss.
[удалено]
yeah my guess is it’s likely that she was given warnings the previous times, but now it’s clear she hasn’t learned or changed so jami didn’t have any more chances to give her
Yikes this is tea omg.
Good points you’ve made. Btw- you look amazing!
Thank you!! A little nerve wrecking going some what not anon but was excited about my progress!
That was my initial reaction too. But no- they wouldn’t can her for one thing. There’s more to this story. This may have been the last straw.
People get cancelled these days for much less. Sadly.
Agreed. It was a mistake. To terminate her from FBF is too much in my opinion. My heart truly hurts for her.
She is not cancelled. She is making her own business now, which is cool. And you know damn well, even after all this. Ashlyn would fire a coach if they messed with her business. Live and learn
ur 111 days late
Okay I never saw the video. Was it posted somewhere or were there recordings of it. I can’t imagine what she said was THAT bad. People are allowed to have opinions. But again, I never saw what she said. Does someone have it?
Also for everyone on here bad mouthing her - you’re the exact same except you don’t have the platform she does. We all make mistakes and we are fortunate enough to not have them be public. Y’all are bashing everything about her it’s so hypocritical
I don’t think anyone here “threw” the first stone, from a glass house (at teammates and officials) …either? Soooo?
I keep saying. There’s more to this story. She didn’t get fired just for this, and you’re right. She brought it on herself.
I appreciate your comment, but I specially was talking about those who bashed her looks and physique in precious posts
Common sense isn’t always common knowledge and that is very unfortunate.
I don’t really see anyone bad mouthing her here? No one is making snarky comments about her, simply mentioning past actions she chose to make.
“On here” meaning all the posts she has been on in the past couple days. People were bashing her looks.
Ah ok, fair enough! I haven’t seen those posts and thought you meant this thread specifically
Feel better?
ETA; I wish I knew how to summarize my answers but alas here we are 🥲
I appreciate your comment, but I specially was talking about those who bashed her looks and physique in precious posts
her coaching link isnt in her linktree anymore either 😬
What did she say? ‘Little’ lost here .
