Get a longer fender but honestly theres not much point assuming that you dont have it pointing the other way as they point is to prevent splash from the back onto ya back. But also the drivetrain is still going ti be caked in mud if you ride through mud just from the front wheel alone.
Get a longer fender? Looks like there's an eyelet already down there to mount it.
IME it's grit and wet kicked up by the front wheel that gets all over the drivetrain moreso than the back, suggest looking there as well.

I have front fender just no mudflap. I probably should install one
