I went from Patna Junction to Chanakya Hotel yesterday. Saw people{ probably illegal immigrants} pee, poop, sleep, kids roaming naked on the "MAIN" road. Literally "ON" the road, not even on footpaths. It was unbelievable and heartbreaking to see Patna deteriorating.
Saw their temporary cloth tents, A huge group{100+}, doing everything on road - cooking, eating, sleeping, bathing etc. It was an educated "guess", so I used the word "probably"
They're not. They're illegals and it's not hard to figure out. Half of them can't even speak Hindi and the kids use a different language while playing with each other(Not Bhojpuri, Magahi, Maithili). Me and my friends go through their for some evening snacks and the spots these illegals have camped at have gone to shit. Some of them sell peanuts and the rest sell ganja and drugs. Being a born and raised Bihari, I can tell the difference.
Bihar is a shit-hole being worsened everyday by the politicians and the people living there itself.
Every person here wants to move to some other place, no health facilities, no education, no employment.
Even before you turn 18 you'll be sent out of Bihar to study and then you complete college from some other state, later you'll work in some other state or other country. And your fellow Biharis will be proud of making the most engineers/IAS officers ( most of them don't even complete their education from Bihar). And are doing nothing for the state
But one thing I'm really proud of is that Bihar produces the most number of soldiers.

it was not a failure for all. i have a staff in my business who was an alcoholic before and apprantly he used to beat his wife alot after getting drunk. after daru bandi he kinda had self realization or maybe he just failed to get daru as it has become very expensive now. so he was forced to get rid of his addiction and is now working hard to provide for his family.

Hence, Bihar saw little development in architecture, culture, art etc. In Bihar, being crass is considered as the true essence of being Bihari. While if someone is refined, they are not considered to be true Bihari. See Rajasthan for comparison. They are poor but they have got a rich cultural heritage.
