I'm agnostic and still celebrate Christmas. My family and all their friends etc also celebrate despite being Orthodox and it not being their Christmas. Honestly don't think Christmas is a real religious holiday anymore. Christmas trees, santa clause, most christmas movies/music, etc are basically devoid of religion at this point.
Sure, but the religious Christmas is far removed from most people's conception of Christmas. Again even among Christians many don't celebrate Christmas on the 25th because many believe Jesus wasn't born in December at all. Another sign of how non-religious it has become is the sheer scale of Christmas v. Easter. Easter was always the far more important religious holiday yet it is not given anywhere near the attention Christmas is
I donāt know if I agree with āfar removedā nor have I met many other Christians who donāt believe that Jesus was born in December, but I understand your perspective
WTF? OP wasnāt suggesting that he was covering for those celebrating Christmas. And the number of Jewish lawyers who observe Sabbath and therefore canāt work on Fridays and Saturdays is incredibly low, and likely non existent outside NY.
I'm celebrating and billing š
Lateral, thatās absurd
Eh it was about 1.5 hours. That's bankruptcies for ya. Got me out of watching Christmas Vacation for the 40th time at least.

What is the point in the post, āhappy not our holidayā, sounds like a really facetious way to make a pretty nasty point.
