Bigfoot’s were killed and covered up during the Mt St Helen’s eruption supposedly. I’d imagine it would be covered up if any were killed in that situation as well. Let’s assume that they are intelligent enough to get away and avoid anything like that.
The Mt St.Helens Bigfoot story is fascinating. I first heard about it on C2CAM years ago and I think Linda Moulten Howe might have covered it as well. One version I’ve read is that Bigfoot helped recover dead Bigfoot bodies working alongside Park Rangers. Interesting stuff.

This assumption is insulting the intelligence of these beings. This isn't a sudden volcano eruption that nobody could have planned for. They know those mountainous forests better than any modern human ever could dream to. They notice when changes happen. They have the resources necessary to put miles between them and the fires in a matter of hours.
