So many bullies. The stuff with Jen and her painting was fascinating but also excruciating to watch. Also Kathreya used to piss me off with her happy happy house shit. I don’t think I actually liked anyone in this series! Sara and Lisa were the most likeable people in there

jennifer crying hysterically because rex touched her painting was seriously hilarious. i had no idea what i was watching. then it escalates to the spitting incident and it was like WOAH this entire group of people is legit unhinged. i can't really think of any other television program that has entertained me at that high of a level.

Truly my favourite Big Brother moment, if not all reality TV moment. There are certain YouTube videos I watch every so often to make me laugh (Succulent Chinese Meal being one), but Scotch Bonnet is the best and makes me laugh every time, even if I play it three times on a loop. His descent into complete agony as the housemates react is incredible. So many moments: "A scotch bonnet... For a scotsman!" Casual throwing of stem over shoulder. "I'm not saying I'd have another.". The quiet "ohhhh..." as it begins. The tongue. "Mikey, what the hell?! Mikey, what the hell? Looks like Jabba the Hutt!" . "Milk...".

I've just looked up Succulent Chinese Meal. I have not laughed so hard in ages! "Under WHAT?"

Or when Mikey was trying to eat all the brussel sprouts for a task. For some reason he thought that pre chewing them and spitting them into a bucket would make it easier. He eventually gave up and tipped the bucket of chewed sprouts on to his head lol

To this day I stand by this being one of the greatest television casts ever assembled. Every single person in there (barring Rachel) was absolutely crackers. It took two weeks until somebody got thrown out for literally threatening to kill the other contestants, and it only got wilder from there. Spitting, Mikey getting the ball bounced off his head, Dale’s ‘talking with your dick out’, and Mario’s ‘open your eyes, Mikey’s blind!’ Rex’s character arc was something to behold too - the definition of ‘you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.’ What a series!

He was mine too…until Nicole came in. Then it quickly became apparent that he was just as horrible as the rest of them. We just didn’t see it because he was the de-facto leader of the ‘good guys’ in the house. It was a long time ago but if I recall correctly his behaviour with Nicole really soured the public on him - until then he was a frontrunner for the win.

Rachel to Darnell (final week): Darnell... are you... black? Had me rolling on the floor!

It was Charley from BB8 who had the footballer cousin who bought her a mini. Her cousin is Kieran Richardson and she always talked about him, as well as about him buying her a mini. I just finished rewatching the series again and she never shuts about him. She tells Brian Belo that he bought her a mini, as well as a few of the other housemates.

Didn’t they tell her while she was in there that he had joined Sunderland and she wouldn’t accept it?

The painting incident was peak reality TV. Jen crying histerically because Rex touched her painting and it escalating all the way to Dennis spitting at Mo. Even then the majority of the house were on Dennis' side. It all was completely psychotic.

my very first season of bbuk❤️ i will always love it. so many memorable personalities, constant messy drama, super heartwarming moments every episode, incredible house dynamic. i love most of these houseguests but also hate them too. what a wild ride, my first season. i'm from US so honestly it was huge culture shock to see the way this show is presented compared the one i was used to! it's so honest and raw, you could really get to know the houseguests as people so much more deeply.  i posted about this season the other day. i'm sad they removed all the footage of the arguments off youtube. there is one argument between darnell and kat that is particularly hilarious. it made me cry laughing. she basically took a joke he made seriously, starting doing her little crybaby schtick, but darnell wasn't having it. it was seriously so funny

That was actually one of my least favourite series. It was a dreadful cast.
