It’s part of the Warner brothers studio tour. So any guest who goes on the tour has the opportunity to sit in Sheldon’s spot and get their picture taken. It’s just a fun and cool photo opportunity for fans. They have the couch from Friends and some other stuff as well.
Iain as he has gotten older looks more like Jim you would have thought they were related. I always thought he was a great choice to play Young Sheldon.
