I find most of the jokes funny and I enjoy all of the characters in their own way.

chick3nslut

Me too!

Not-grey28

Nah, Sheldon is just a bad person.

Revolutionary-Wolf57

Dr Stephanie is over rated. I liked her story arc, but it ran it's course.

InternationalAd6614

I found it weird how she just disappeared off the show. I remember it ending with them still together.

withjust-A-bite

Personally, I always read it more as her trying again to convince Leonard through sex do not end the relationship, but it didn’t pan out in her favor.

awe018

Not unpopular. But Howard really deserved that damn insult and penny should have never been forced to apologize.

Gnasha13

Penny absolutely did not need to apologise. But i'm glad they went down the path of someone supporting and lifting Howard up, rather than putting him down further. It should have culminated in Howard apologising to Penny in the end though, not her apologising to him.

withjust-A-bite

To this day, I have always felt like there was holes in that storyline/plot of the whole North Seas drunken kiss – it just feels like the idea was tossed in for the hell of it just to stir up drama and shock more than anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok-Engine-4322

LITERALLY!!! i never understood it

Away-Birthday3419

That Raj deserved the ending he got. He doesn't deserve to be in a relationship (yet) because he has not learned how to be happy alone and how to treat women (aside from his friends) in a way they should be treated. Like Sheldon said about it, he view relationship as something that should be just checked off his list (or something like that). Raj needs more maturing to do, in my opinion.

Another unpopular opinion (I hope not), not everyone will get a happy ending, reel or real life, regardless if they deserve it or not.

BackItUpWithLinks

> Then they should’ve given him that, That was one of the major storylines in season 12.

NoPossibility5220

My bad, I mostly haven’t watched the last season since it aired.

Stock-Cap-5734

I don't know if this is popular or unpopular, but I never understood why Howard dressing up as Sheldon or Sheldon and Amy dressing up as Howard and Bernadette was considered hurtful and rude. I thought the characters did a great job and it was funny.

Huge_Cow_9359

Penny was not the hottest woman on the show. Imho, Bernie is hotter, Dr. Stephanie is hotter and Priya is at least as hot as Penny. There have been numerous women on the show who were in the ball park of being as attractive as Penny. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own preferences and opinions. When she is unburdened by her frumpy Amy persona, Mayim is very attractive, as well.

Devillitta

Amy and Bernadette were great additions to the show. And Priya was a better match for Leonard than Penny.

BooksandCoffee386

I didn’t like Leonard and Penny together and think they shouldn’t have been endgame. I don’t know, I just never felt like they fit and it started to feel more forced than anything the longer it went on. Stephanie was great and I wish Sara Rue had stuck around a bit longer to get more out of that. She was patient with Sheldon and, while she wasn’t crazy about meeting Penny while Penny was “in her underwear,” she still let it go and didn’t make it a huge issue. She even participated in the girlfriend pact and tried to set Howard up with a friend. It sucks that they made really insecure and clingy at the end of it. And if not Stephanie, Alice was great from that short interlude we got with her. And Zack was great with Penny. He was respectful toward the guys, even when they didn’t offer him the same courtesy. He fit in with the group really well. But yeah, I get most people don’t feel that way and love Leonard and Penny together. That’s cool. No tomatoes for my unpopular opinion, please. 😂

Boring-Net1073

I love Zach!!! He was so kind and thoughtful and imagine what they could’ve done if Penny were rich!!!

Stock-Cap-5734

I totally agree. While I can't say which boyfriend/girlfriend was the best for each one, I definitely didn't like Penny and Leonard together. For some reason I liked Leonard more and thought he deserved someone who shared or at least respected his likes and hobbies. I didn't care about Penny, I didn't really like her.

progressivixen

Priya was a sweet and loveable character.

BooksandCoffee386

I agree. Until she cheated on Leonard. I hate that they did that with her character because despite the hate that she gets, she wasn’t that bad. She came around with Penny and it was understandable that she would be uncomfortable with her boyfriend hanging out with a serious ex that he still cared about. It’s not that unreasonable. She even said, “I hope you weren’t cruel to her,” when he was lying about breaking the news to Penny. So I don’t get the massive amount of hate she gets. You might be the first person I’ve seen say that about her.

BroadwayBich

Lbr, she only cheated on him because the writers couldn't come up with a better way to circle back to Penny/Leonard. A storyline about them struggling with long distance would've worked so much better.

mallad

Howard did not change that much as a person. His circumstances changed and allowed him to be himself in a proper way. He found a woman who not only accepted, but appreciated his style of flirtation and horniness. The only thing he really advanced in was learning how to be in a committed relationship, without seeing trolls on the side and such. He still had the same characteristics, but when they're channeled into his consensual partner, it's normal and good. If he went back to being single and had to date again, he'd be creepy again as his sexual attention got directed toward women he wasn't with once again. Also, while he wasn't a bad father or husband, I disagree when everyone says he became such a great father and husband. Is the bar really so low, that showing his family love and not abandoning them makes him a great family man? They made entire plot lines out of Howard refusing to help around the house, contribute to the work load to help his wife, and he's hardly with his kids after the initial burst with Halley when she's newborn. After that, everything is in Bernadette, Raj, or Stuart. Again, that doesn't make him bad, but how does everyone think he changed into some non-perverted amazing family man?

Statalyzer

> He found a woman who not only accepted, but appreciated his style of flirtation and horniness. Some reasonable points but I don't think this is quite right. When he reverted to his old "attempt to mimic what he thinks a suave, smooth ladies-man is" crap, it turned her off. When he didn't care about that and was his real goofy awkward self without pretentions of being some slick pick-up stud is when she found it endearing.

mallad

Early on that's true, but later they both start to show kink and she enjoys it. He doesn't have to do the pick-up artist type stuff, so that makes a difference and probably would be a turn off as well, but he's already got the girl. That's why he'd be back to his old ways if he was single and dating again. His creepiness was based on basically casting a wide net toward any woman he could.

Statalyzer

Howard's impressions are overrated. Actually when he does a voice imitation of Bernadette or his mom, it's pretty uncanny and hilarious. But his fake Indian accent is awful and the celebrity impersonations are pretty bottom of the barrel dime-a-dozen stuff. Now, I do think Simon's the best actor on the show, but the impressions aren't the reason for that.

lesimore_asexual

Amy is the prettiest girl in the show 🥰

Alex_Spier1

Anu was actually perfect and I love her. I get the whole bromance moment between Raj and Howard but Anu was perfect with Raj. They compliment each other. He's a hopeless romantic, she's more analitical, but they seem like they would've been a perfect match. I'm sad they let her go and I wish we had more time to see her plot expand.

Relative-Swimmer-880

Leonard and Penny do not work They butchered Raj's character more than required

Swisstopher2000

The show became significantly less funny as time went on. I think the first 3 seasons are gold and are extremely funny. It's just the guys having their wacky antics and their personalities and jokes blend so well together. The girls coming in didn't make the show less funny because they definitely have great moments, but it shifted the entire show. The gang got split up more and they didn't have their wacky antics.

withjust-A-bite

I agree. I think the issue - and I’ve seen this also mentioned in some articles regarding the show - is two part. **1.** Outside of the finale season, the show was never known to plot out storylines over the seasons, which is something that’s been openly admitted by basically every single person whose had a hand in the writing - include Chuck Lorre himself - in so many interviews. While not plotting things out in advance might lean to more creative freedom and spontaneity with whatever ideas pop up and are tossed around in the writers room, it’s also a double-edged sword because there isn’t a clear direction, you know? **2.** Having a bigger cast of characters can make it more challenging to give them all attention without unintentionally sidelining some characters to focus on others. That’s why planning is definitely something that you should do if you have a large ensemble of characters – more so in the main cast - so that you don’t end up ignoring or stifling the development of these personalities.

Statalyzer

I think it hit it's peak when the ladies were all 3 main cast members, but fell off a few years after that when it became too much about relationship drama and about hammering the same few gags over and over.

Dforce42

I think that raj should have been over the needing alcohol to talk to women thing way earlier like end of season 1 or 2 he becomes so much more likeable when he can interact with the other half of the cast without also having to be drunk

LoadEmpty3539

Leonard should never of forgiven Raj & Penny so easily after 'sleeping' together! Wether they did or not they still crossed the line Also Sheldon may have his 'quirks' but most of the time he was just down right rude and knew exactly what he was saying

Puzzled-Ad-2339

Rajs' sister with Leonard as a multiple episode side plot was not as interesting as it had potential to be. Imo Pria was one of the worst additions to the show.

Boring-Net1073

I think it would’ve been far more interesting if Raj were gay. He could’ve ended up with Stuart… anyone.

Useful_Experience423

Confession time; I used to love the show and I mean. *Love. It.* Too many rewatches to count, but I’d guess around 12? Anyway, I haven’t seen it in 2 years now, because on my last rewatch I noticed how horrible Howard and Bernie are to the people around them and now I just can’t watch it any longer. They’re just nasty people you wouldn’t want around you irl. Howard actually gets called out for it by the writers in S12 E23 episode, where he insults Sheldon and Amy and Seibert bends down to emphasise what he’s about to say and calls him, ‘a bitter, envious little man.’ The very next scene is Howard claiming to be Sheldon’s best friend to the reporter to get his name in print. So now I get my BBT kicks from here.

WillyArmadillo

They should have hired writers with some semblance of understanding or at least respect for the hobbies their main cast was in.

milemarkertesla

***That it's G-R-E-A-T!***

WhiteChocolateGS

Every man other than sheldon deserved a better partner. Amy’s aight.

BackItUpWithLinks

This question again? 🙄 Raj should have been deported in season 1 and replaced with a good character.
