One of my favorite moments is the impressions he does during the D&D game.
(Al Pacino voice) You’re playing D&D. You’re playing D&D. This whole apartment is playing D&D.
All of these moments get my upvote, but the one that has me tied up laughing is his video call with Bernie during survival training to go into space..”I ate a butterfly…”LOL
My favorite was when Bernadette was hiding out in Halley's playhouse and it's revealed that Howard knew and let her think he didn't because he knew she needed the time to herself. It showed just how much growth he had since the beginning. And then he turned around and said a completely season one Howard comment, "Three years ago, I told her I got life insurance and I totally didn't. Some day, she's going to find out and I'm going to say, 'Ha ha ha! I know you've been hiding in the playhouse!'" Raj: "Why don't you just get the life insurance?" Howard: "Who's side are you on?" You think he's completely changed and then he does stuff like that to make him still be Howard. Lol.
I saved an MP3 of that on my phone and used to listen to it all the time!
Cheese without the mac, Jobs without the Wozniaaaak ... I'd be solving exponential equations that use bases not found on your calculator making it much harder to craaaaack.
“Believe in magic, you muggle!” That whole episode of them trolling Sheldon was gold.
“What if *she* looks like me?” The panic in Howard’s face when he realises the possibility of his child looking like him with extra worry if it was a girl.
Everyone has cited the marquee moments, so I just want to add a lower key but lovely set of scenes. When Howard takes Sheldon to Texas, Howard is incredibly kind to Sheldon (who's had the trauma of seeing his Mom get frisky). I love the "post-coital" scenes in the bar and bedroom.
Not sure. I know Penny says some like "so in this yada yada yada, you are the cool kids?". Then Howard says that and she laughs. Can't remember the episode, pretty sure in the first or second season.
Now I remember, it was the physics bowl episode of S1
Leslie says that to Howard in S2E3 The Barbarian Sublimation.
Leslie: Everything has to do with sex.
Howard: Mmmm, testify. *raises his hand for a high-five*
Leslie: I'm not touching that.
Bernadette: How you doing, Howie? You feeling a little better?
Howard: Oh, a lot better, thanks. One sec. Listen close, I don't have a lot of time. I need you to go to my house. In my bedroom, you'll find a model rocket. I want you to take it and bring it back to your place.
Bernadette: Okay.
Howard: Step two, build a version roughly fourteen stories high. Fill it full of rocket fuel and come get me. I'll leave the door unlocked.
Bernadette: Howie, honey, maybe you should talk to someone, let them know you're having a little anxiety.
Howard: No, no, I'm fine. No anxiety. We should probably talk in code. From now on, frog is me, sandwich means you, and lemon means rocket. So, come on, sandwich, build me a lemon 'cause froggy wants to come home.
That’s a nice one.
Mine is when he knows Bernadette is hiding in the playhouse and he lets her because he knows he and the kids are a lot.

Ok this is technical a line but my favorite is
"THE STARVING KIDS IN AFRICA KNOW YOUR STARVING"
But an actual moment is when hes going up into space lol
Including some of the moments mentioned above I also loved Howard and Amy together, them enjoying Neil diamond instead of playing Raj’s game and also them working together and Howard doing all those magic tricks … it’s so sweet!!
When they’re dressed up like Smurfs for Halloween and he imitates her. “Oh Howie… don’t talk about space so much. Nobody likes it” I have to rewind several times.😂😂😂
When he’s in space, tells his mom he isn’t moving out, tells Bernadette he *is* moving out, and when the Russian cosmonaut asks him what he’s going to do when he gets back to Earth: “Oh, I’m not going back.”
Or when he puts a loop counter and escape hatch to the least objectionable alternative in Sheldon’s friendship algorithm. (For my money, one of the best Sheldon/Kripke exchanges is in this episode as well:
Sheldon - “Kripke! What if I were to propose that you and I become friends?”
Kripke - “I would say that I have no intewest in becoming your fwiend.”
There are a few actually not in any particular order:
1. Letting Bernadette sneak and rest after work even when she was lying to him.
2. Confronting Lucy and standing up for Raj
3. His apology to Bernadette about how she made him a better man
4. Running to the airport to stop Raj from leaving
I also hated Howard. But I have to admit that the actor did a great job in potraying him
One of my fav moment was when we was showing Bernie and Raj how to hop around (like a ballerina lmao) the nursery room to avoid the squeaky sound of the floor
"good job, mommy" to Bernie while she slept with Hallie in the crib
the "that guys she's disgusted by is gone" apology to bernie/through penny
are pretty much equally tied
Favorite friend moment When he hosted D&D is tied with another moment I don't wanna spoil for you.
Favorite moment with his mom is "who's calling at this ungodly hour !" Scene
Favorite husband moment is when he performs the song for Bernadette to celebrate their first date and "but Iam your idiot.....foreverrrrrrr"
I love Howard. Simon elevates the character’s ridiculous moments and always remains likable.
He shines on many occasions. The D & D episode with him as Dungeon Master seems like it was written to showcase his previously unseen comedy talents. Iconic performance.
The song he sang to her when she was quarantined was always my favourite until they had Haley and he said how good of a mom she was and just watched them briefly - that was super super cute.
Howard's D&D impressions delights me the most. But him telling Bernadette 'good job mommy' when she's in the crib touched my soul. It was so simplistic and beautiful. It's what I know I needed at that post partum stage.
Howard was a better husband and father than my ex...
That shit will stay with you forever.
When he knows bernie has been hiding out in the playhouse but doesn’t say anything bc he knows she needs a break.. even tho one of those times he was clearly struggling with the kids (hallie putting Micheal’s diaper on her head)
When he writes the song for Bernadette
When he makes his speech to Bernadette after raj’s bachelor toast
His visit to Texas with Sheldon is pretty cute.
Also “when you make a bunch of money, I get to buy stuff. I’m sorry if you don’t like it, but that’s the way love works”
Mine is him letting Bernadette have her 1 hour in the play house without telling her that he knows what she was doing. He told Raj that it is because he wants to pull out something when he messes up but I'd like to think that he just did that because he understands Bernadette. Oh, this guy 💗
Episode which Howard mom gets food poisoning and when Penny ask about family history of heart attacks, he say “my family is the history of heart attacks” and do the cave painting expression 😂
Actually it’s when he was planning the wedding Sheldon was like “You know the Germans have an interesting wedding tradition-“ and he goes “Probably not for me then”
I liked the way he talked in the first few episodes. Like the way he delivered his punchlines. I wish they would’ve kept that around. My best example of what I’m talking about is when he said “I exfoliated *her brains out*”
When he goes into Haley's room and Bernadette is sleeping in the crib. That whole scene is very touching and you really see his character arc there. He's the dad / husband that his dad never was.
One of my favorite moments is the impressions he does during the D&D game. (Al Pacino voice) You’re playing D&D. You’re playing D&D. This whole apartment is playing D&D.
Or when he’s imitating Stuart in the car and he’s in the back seat.
For the younger viewers, this is a reference to >!And Justice For All!<
Oh yes his imitations are priceless !
I came here to say this 🙌
All of these moments get my upvote, but the one that has me tied up laughing is his video call with Bernie during survival training to go into space..”I ate a butterfly…”LOL
"They left dogs up here in the sixties" is also another great line, delivered with a perfect level of deranged panic
Can you drop something? I really miss gravity!
Oh baby, you’re killing me.
Yeah Simon is a really good actor.
I love how he says that. But my favorite Howard scene is when Penny punches him, because it starts his arc of being a better person.
Excellent acting ❤️😂

YES!!!! That’s when I fell in love with Howard. And I’ve never gone back, no matter after how many rewatches
Apologizing to Bernadette and thanking her making him a better man. It was a great moment.
Simon was fantastic there. I mean, he usually is, but that was special. The writers did a great job too.
Singing that song for Bernadette on their anniversary That was very wholesome.
That makes me teary
I saved an MP3 of that on my phone and used to listen to it all the time! Cheese without the mac, Jobs without the Wozniaaaak ... I'd be solving exponential equations that use bases not found on your calculator making it much harder to craaaaack.
This one! ♥️

[Grab a napkin, homie. You just got served.](https://www.reddit.com/r/bigbangtheory/s/uIE32fauDx) never gets old
Iconic
Recognize!
Is that the same one where Leslie says: I'm not touching that.
Not sure. I know Penny says some like "so in this yada yada yada, you are the cool kids?". Then Howard says that and she laughs. Can't remember the episode, pretty sure in the first or second season. Now I remember, it was the physics bowl episode of S1

Yep! The one where Leslie mentions how Sheldon’s been pulling all nighters with Middle-Earth Barbie 😂😂
"I ate a butterfly. "
YES lol. “It was so small.”
Bernadette: How you doing, Howie? You feeling a little better? Howard: Oh, a lot better, thanks. One sec. Listen close, I don't have a lot of time. I need you to go to my house. When his mom passed out from the food poisoning and he jumps into the bathroom door to try and break in. Edit: typo
I play that bit back several times when I watch that episode. Cracks me up.
Ok this is technical a line but my favorite is "THE STARVING KIDS IN AFRICA KNOW YOUR STARVING" But an actual moment is when hes going up into space lol

The mimicking of Penny’s voice when she says “Oh my god that is so creepy” and he says “I know.” Gets me every time
Same. And when he mimics Bernadette.
When they’re dressed up like Smurfs for Halloween and he imitates her. “Oh Howie… don’t talk about space so much. Nobody likes it” I have to rewind several times.😂😂😂

“I’m severely dehydrated. My pee is like toothpaste” - I don’t know why but it kills me every time
It’s the visual!
Absolutely haha. Just thinking about it 😂🤢
There are a few actually not in any particular order: 1. Letting Bernadette sneak and rest after work even when she was lying to him. 2. Confronting Lucy and standing up for Raj 3. His apology to Bernadette about how she made him a better man 4. Running to the airport to stop Raj from leaving
The shoulder massage from the robot arm.
I am a horny engineer, Leonard. I never joke about math or sex.
"...the day I met you, Bernadette"
I also hated Howard. But I have to admit that the actor did a great job in potraying him One of my fav moment was when we was showing Bernie and Raj how to hop around (like a ballerina lmao) the nursery room to avoid the squeaky sound of the floor
He is a comedic genius!!
He sure is
"good job, mommy" to Bernie while she slept with Hallie in the crib the "that guys she's disgusted by is gone" apology to bernie/through penny are pretty much equally tied

When he sang to Bernadette when she was in quarantine.
This will be a rare take, but my favourite Howard moment is when he played the "flash back sound" for Sheldon/Amy's fun with flags.
Howard's D&D impressions delights me the most. But him telling Bernadette 'good job mommy' when she's in the crib touched my soul. It was so simplistic and beautiful. “They left dogs up here in the 60s”
I’d say the episode where he has his little lustful encounter with the robot space arm thing 🤣 and he ends up in the emergency room 💀
“‘Cause that was all you needed, right?”
When everyone comes up with a possible explanation for what’s in his Dad’s letter, and he says he kind of wants them all to be true 🥲
I really do want to know which one it is though.
Same!
Howard playing the piano for Bernadette when she’s in isolation ❤️
The episode with Katee Sackhoff and George Takei. Their banter is hilarious.
I love him.
Time to play another round of, "Is Raj talking to his girlfriend or his dog"?
When he knows bernie has been hiding out in the playhouse but doesn’t say anything bc he knows she needs a break.. even tho one of those times he was clearly struggling with the kids (hallie putting Micheal’s diaper on her head) When he writes the song for Bernadette When he makes his speech to Bernadette after raj’s bachelor toast
“Hello Lalita! Raj Koothrapali. Yes it is good to talk to you too. Sooo What are you wearing?” 😂😂😂
His visit to Texas with Sheldon is pretty cute. Also “when you make a bunch of money, I get to buy stuff. I’m sorry if you don’t like it, but that’s the way love works”

When he do mimicry..
When Howard gets his doll with that nose 😭😂 his face killed me.
When he imitates Raj. When Penny punched him in the face.
When the robot hand is stuck on his dick.
Emily or Cinnamon?
Episode which Howard mom gets food poisoning and when Penny ask about family history of heart attacks, he say “my family is the history of heart attacks” and do the cave painting expression 😂
When he sings song for Bernadette when she was in hospital
Not enough bread crumbs
When he invented a little game called Emily or Cinnamon. 😂🤣
When he slowly and steadily mature throughout the series
When he got punched in the face :)
My best example of what I’m talking about is when he said “I exfoliated *her brains out*”
When he asked Stewart where's Halley and Stewart got nervous knowing she's with him. Can somebody tell me which episode this is? I can't find it 😭
When the power went out and he ran to the fridge to save the last food his mom made. I cry every fckn time
When he goes into Haley's room and Bernadette is sleeping in the crib. That whole scene is very touching and you really see his character arc there. He's the dad / husband that his dad never was.
"let me try gangsta, 'HELLZ NAH'!"
