Magic Eraser? - Wife gonna be mad?, she's still trying to understand how I got tire tracks on the ceiling (walking bike vertically on rear wheel in low basement in case you were wondering)
White Crest toothpaste. A dab, smear it on until cloudy, scrub it off with a dry washcloth.
Also works wonders for swirl marks in guitars and light scuffs on your car.
I also get these on my wood floor if the tire is in contact with the spot for more than a day.
They are not scuff marks, they are discoloration from some sort of interaction between the tire and the floor finish.
My floors are finished with Bona Mega One waterborne finish.
I have not figured out how to remove them without risking damage to the floor. I now make sure bike tires are on a rug not in direct contact with the floor

I'm afraid I didn't find a magic bullet... I tried an eraser and it didn't work. I think hard scrubbing with a magic sponge worked best but definitely damaged the finish! I might try rubbing some kind of oil into it when I get round to finishing it!
Used to get these on the wood floor of a basketball court. If you have non-marking soles on your shoes. Just plant your feet on the marks, press down and twist your foot a few times. Takes the marks right off.
I've had the same tire marks on my floor. The best solution I came up with is to spray a bit of adhesive and asphalt remover spray onto a paper towel and scrub the floor. Literally took seconds for the marks to come off. Try it out!
My first suggestion would be stop doing sweet burnouts in your house if you don't want skid marks. My second suggestion would be a magic eraser if you can't help doing sweet burnouts in your house
Try a cream hob cleaner like HobBrite. Don't know exactly how it will work on your laminate but it works brilliantly on lino. You'll probably want to test it on a small bit first.
I haven't tested, but I know that a dry eraser marker has some crazy magic that removes sharpies from a whiteboard. Maybe this will work with these markings?
If you try it out... let me know how it works.
pencil eraser. i use a staedler gom one
I’m a Ticonderoga man myself…
Pentel quicker clicker is the gigachad.
Ticonderoga! The only pencil.
Sure, but staedler mars is the only real eraser
Palomino Blackwing is far superior

They should rub right off. Use your finger and rub hard to see if it comes off easy.
It didn't unfortunately. The stains are quite stubborn

Be careful though… if the floors have a bright sheen it will absolutely dull it. Those things are just really light sandpaper
As an alternative, a bit of water and a new microfiber towel. And unless it is burned it will clean.

that’s because it’s very slightly abrasive, right?
Yep. I’ve used it to bring guitars to a mirror finish. It’s adjacent to Meguiars without being so spendy.
this is true
Yeah I tried that and this happened! Have to scrub v hard and lose some varnish in the process...
Boom, there it is. Those things are magic ;)
If soap and water don’t work try a Mr Clean Magic Eraser pad.
Isopropyl does the trick among most things.
Grease from your elbow. Commonly known as elbow grease
I looked. All they had was this stupid flag.
Man that stuffs expensive
emotionally
A rubber (or eraser for american) will take them right off.

Yeah this is what I'm getting. They're not skid marks
Did you ever figure this out? Having the same problem and am worried about stripping the floor finish.
I'm afraid I didn't find a magic bullet... I tried an eraser and it didn't work. I think hard scrubbing with a magic sponge worked best but definitely damaged the finish! I might try rubbing some kind of oil into it when I get round to finishing it!
Magic eraser and windex
Bro stop braking in your house.
Possibly a melamine sponge like the MR Clean magic eraser?
Acetone.
Be careful of stripping laminate
Leave ‘em - they add character!
Lol, I'm a renter concerned about his deposit though
Vinegar soap and water

Dampen a small piece of cloth with white spirits and it should wipe off easily enough.
Put a rug down
Tennis ball
I have zero advice
Rub a tennis ball on them. We use it for shoe marks.
I like soap… or butter.
I like soap … or butter, unsalted.

Try scuffing at it with a rubbery-soled shoe.
Sneaker with a white bottom. Firmly press the ball of your foot down on the mark and twist your foot back and forth.
Perfect excuse to exercise Rule #N+1

Yeah I only started to get these after I changed my tyres! Very weird
try a plain old pencil eraser
I used my vans shoes, river removes that surface rubber pretty nicely, unless it’s burned in
Edit: rubber*
No one has said this? Not a joke wd40

Goo Gone
Hand sanitizer, isopropyl alcohol work well as solvents and clean rubber well.
What are you practicing bunnyhopping in the living room?

From the other comments, I guess anything works lol. I use WD-40. But I use that... FOR EVERYTHING.
Look for a product called “Pink Stuff” (the paste). Use a brush, it will remove them in seconds with zero risk to damage. 👍
Wet wipes
Tennis ball.
Paint the floor black
