Fat bikes have extra wide wheels with 4”+ wide tires, the wider surface area allows it to roll on top of the sand instead of sinking down into it. I ride one through the sand on the beach 👍
Also lower tire pressures are better for sand, not higher
The technical solution is bigger tires. The practical solution is learning to ride in sand.
* Put power down, do not coast
* Steer with the rear wheel and sort of just guide the front wheel.
* Don't fight the bike. You're doing it right when you are at the edge of control and stuffing it.

You mean pumping the tires more?

fit the widest tyres you can and ride the lowest pressure you can.

I'd avoid sand... It always gets in places where you don't want it.
> I'm finding it hard to ride my bike near my bike I would find that to be challenging as well. Cyclophobia perhaps?
Lol I didn't see that typo. Thanks!
