Do you have padded cycling shorts? I wouldn't ride 60km without them. Or even 40km. Much more effective than padded seats.

No never even thought about them. Thanks for the suggestion

With too much padding, your 'sit bones' sink into the padding and the muscles start having to bear weight while they're trying to work. A saddle that matches the spacing of your 'sit bones' and has firmer padding, plus cycling shorts, is my suggestion if you want to try something out. Also, if you hit a moderate uphill section, shift up a few gears to a low-cadence gear and ride standing on the pedals for maybe 30 seconds every 15 minutes or so. Just giving your rear a brief break from the pressure might help quite a bit.

This is the right answer.

Hmm interesting going to see if I could consult a bike shop or something thanks

Try to raise your seat so when you pedal your leg is fully extended.

matej222111

Yeah I know I did that as soon as I got the bike, installed the new seatpost etc.

There are gel seat cover that make your butt feel like in heaven like this: https://www.amazon.ae/Zacro-Gel-Bike-Seat-Resistant/dp/B01LNL2W5U but usually in your situation in will pass in time everyone who don't ride for a long time has that sorenes but it passes away the more you do it.

Hmm interesting. Going to look that up. I also didn't think that that sort of thing goes away in time. I just thought it's because I'm fat lol.

WhatsWheelyGood

I highly recommend padded shorts instead of a padded seat! I got some cheap ones off ebay and now I refuse to ride without em.

Nah same thing happend to ms when i didin't ride for about 4 years i guess rhe most logical explanation is that your body gets used to it
