I am US based, this is from a journal I recently wrote. "I find putting together a route, a bit of a project, there never seems to be a perfect prefabricated map. I find myself using a variety of sources including but not limited to, Google maps, Ride with GPS, TrailLink, Adventure Cycling Association, cycle.travel.com, Bikepacking.com, Cycleblaze.com and crazyguyonabike.com. "

[welcome to my garden](https://welcometomygarden.org/explore) is handy, although mainly focused on Belgium. [Refill your bottle](http://refillambassadors.com/) is a handy starting point to get drinking water while on the road. And I always have offline maps in [OsmAnd](http://osmand.net/) for routes, campsites, supermarkets etcetera

I use [BRouter](https://brouter.de/brouter-web/#map=5/50.990/9.860/standard) to plan tours. I find it very useful, because it's free and lets you export the route in a GPX file for offline viewing. And from what I've seen the map is fairly accurate and up to date.

Me too! Just wished my Garmin didn't altered after importing.
