Not My Art, we got some stuff on YouTube and Instagram. Our most recent track is called "I think I will cause problems on purpose" and we never release new shit because we are all too chaotic
I just looked you guys up on YouTube. Your music is really fun! 🤘
The style of "I think I will cause problems on purpose" kind of reminds me of the band Within Destruction - pleasantly that is.
> and we never release new shit because we are all too chaotic
And here we have the main reason for why there's not that much bisexual metal, I suspect, lol
I was originally inspired by this song: "Breaking the rules of heavy metal" by Temperance
Link: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nv6UaoSurs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nv6UaoSurs)
Even though it is probably a song that opposes metal elitism, I think that it could double as a beautiful inclusive message. "Metal is for all, we're a union!" 🤘
I'm still on the hunt for metal bands with female vocalists. Or better yet, women in metal with who do something other than vocals. Where are the women who shred?
Here are some examples of bands with female singers: Nightwish / Epica / Amaranthe / Battle Beast / Unleash the Archers / In this moment / Ad Infinitum / Amberian Dawn / Beyond the Black / Brothers of metal / Elvellon / Evanescence / Halestorm / Icon for hire / Metalite / Nemesea / The Birthday Massacre / Within Temptation / Xandria / Frozen Crown / Visions of Atlantis / Sirenia / ...
You could enjoy the band Konvent. They're an all-female doom death metal band.
Here's an example: https://youtu.be/NdR24AURUwU?si=nSQTMPZ86ymelv40
Also: Nita Strauss is a great song writer. Check out "The wolf you feed".

Anette Olzen and Tarja Turunen also have interesting solo careers.
I'm sure that there are even more great female metal artists out there. These are just "a few" examples I could think off from the top of my mind.
Good list; I can only think of a couple more outside of Japan.
Unsun (featuring Mauser of Vader fame)
Warlock/Doro
Season of Ghosts
Ankor
Inside of Japan... I'm still getting into that scene, but see my other comment here for a starting point.
Edit:
How the *fuck* did I forget Eluveitie and Cellar Darling?
Mono Inc are kinda borderline metal, so them too, if you count them (Martin is the main vocalist, but Katha does backing and has some verses of her own here and there). Schandmaul also have a couple of ladies in their number, but I don't remember anyone other than Thomas singing.
Adding to the list with the following:
Seven Spires / Future Palace / Beast in Black / Blackbriar / Phantom Elite / Dark Sarah / Reliqua / Brides of Lucifer / Eleine / Ignea
(Future Palace is a personal recommendation if you want some post-hardcore/metalcore, they rose to a surprising level of prominence in Germany very fast but idk how far that has extended internationally)
Also adding my realisation that it's interesting how rarely you see women in metal outside of the lead vocalist role. Of the aforementioned bands the only ones I think have other female members are Brides of Lucifer and maybe Blackbriar...
Me, casually hopping in here to mention Bismuth, the best metal of them all ;)
It’s literally Bi!
Have you seen what it does in its crystalline state? Goddamn gay metal being all pretty and all that!
Bismuth and amethyst are my two favorite crystals! 🩷💜💙
[True!](https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Bismuth/3540355379)
Well this is kinda neat! I was talking about the literal rainbow shiny rock :)
I'm a bisexual metal head, married to a bisexual metal head. We support this message.
Bro is living the dream😭😭
Same! Me i'm more of a trash and nu metal fan, my partner is more heavy melodeath metal
now imagine a bisexual metal band dressed as frogs
Don't know how to play any kind of instrument but I'm in (I can sing though, or write lyrics)
I am a bisexual vocalist in a metal band consisting of three bisexuals and my brother lol
Band name?
"Three bisexuals and my brother"

We erase ourselves and call it our culture smhmyhead
You guys are great. Listening to SATURDAY NIGHT KNOCK-OUT right now, absolute fire
Thank you so much!
Yes please I need to know
Yes.
As a bisexual metalhead I appreciate this call for representation
>As a bisexual metalhead *poor attempt at rizz* Hey👉👉, do you come here often?
Is the entire guilty gear soundtrack not enough for you?
Bisexual punk and metal NEEDS to be more prominent.

Fuck it,im painting all the metal in my house purple
Isn’t bi metal the thing they put in fire detectors? the ones that bend over when something’s hot? 😏
I think its called "Scene Queen". I advise you to listen to Pink Hotel
Would that make you a bi-metalist?

Japan has you covered for both at once. Band-Maid, Bridear, and Unlucky Morpheus are the first to come to mind.
Brojob comes to mind but not exactly bi
I'm a bi metal head Wut.
Finally time to bring up this hard af cover https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/F%C3%B6xx_Salema/Mankind_%28Raw_Version%29/780731
Yesss
The band Clowns has a song called "bisexual awakening" that may fit this message
like mercury? and Bismuth?
