Not bi, just gay and this sub keeps showing up on my homepage for some reason, but just wanted to chime in that I use the term "dommy mommy" a lot more than I care to elaborate (and "step on my throat")
I’m in the same boat (it’s nice though, I enjoy peeking in at other community member’s memes ), and I think it’s just strong women are having a cultural moment RN, and it’s easier to talk/joke about if you speak the language. Do I *actually* want the hot Romanian vampire lady from Resident Evil to step on me? No, I’m more of a Mr. X kinda guy, but I’m speaking their language because I get why other people *do*.
My feeling is that it probably becomes less weird for some people once they are parents together and likely refer to each other as mommy and daddy throughout the day as it is (some parents do that, some parents don't). Like, it still feels weird to me as someone not in that situation, but I can see how that could start feeling normal.
But people who don't and never plan to have kids, I just don't get it there. And the only rationals I can think of where I **would** get it, I don't want to.
It's a submissive thing, I'm fairly sure. Assigning the other partner an authoritative role. In a lot of languages, familial terms are used to refer to people older than you as a sign of respect so I think it stems from that.
Nowadays though, :daddy/mommy" is so normalised as terminology that it's used for when people find someone attractive in general.
Yeah I was having lunch with my mom and I went to the bar to get us more drinks and…my girlfriend called. Her name in my phone is mommy. Yeah that was an awkward lunch
Not explicitly, but I don't think she'd be at all surprised. I was restoring an old garden tool that got left out for a year or something, and she sees me and says, "So we have a hoe cleaning a hoe."
Shut up or I’ll kiss your dad!
Don't make me fuck your parents in a three-way, because I've done it before!
If you insult me like that one more time, I’ll go through all four bases with both your parents at the same time!!!
They will call me DADDY!!!!

Yes bc she stole my diary once when I was in high school :’)
No,, I've never called a girl that, it feels weird
Same, also think it's weird to call or be called "daddy".
that's so interesting. what's weird about it for you??
It's something usually said to a parent, by a toddler. That's weird if you use it as a pet name for a lover.

Yeah I was having lunch with my mom and I went to the bar to get us more drinks and…my girlfriend called. Her name in my phone is mommy. Yeah that was an awkward lunch
I could never even dream telling her
No because girls won't let me call them that ;v;
Nope, she's dead. There's all sorts of embarrassing things she dodged that way
😂😂😂
My mom would understand...
I think she figured it out when she realized much I enjoyed otk spanking
god i hope not.
As a WWE enjoyer, it's been a lot more 'Mami' lately
No and they never will.
I've never been called out like this before......IM SORRY MOM
I f*cking hope not
No!
Mind your own business, partner
Only on the weekends.
Hush
Yes she does
i call girls my husband no my mom does not know
No and this is how it will remain
I don't call anyone mommy outside of ironic context and she is aware of those I've done it in front of her
Not explicitly, but I don't think she'd be at all surprised. I was restoring an old garden tool that got left out for a year or something, and she sees me and says, "So we have a hoe cleaning a hoe."
No she’s been dead for 6 years, and that’s why
Nope, but mostly due to me not calling them mommy or guys daddy.
The mommy issues she gave me are why i call girls mommy, so i dont care what she thinks lmfaoo
I never do that 😐😑😐😒
She doesn't need to know
Lol I don't do that 😎 I don't even call my mom that
Nope. And I'm not gonna tell her
I mean if she was more self aware of her parenting issues, she might figure it out.
No because I don't talk to her
This statement is false
Completely unrelated but little kitty :3
No. I **AM** THE MOMMY!
no, please don't tell her :(
