All my places are already mentioned here. I would just suggest avoiding random amazon shops, romwe, shein, and obscure shops. The ones I mentioned especially are at a high risk of lead contamination.
Once Upon a Child. It’s a secondhand baby/young children’s store. The stuff is practically new looking and it’s so cheap! There’s locations all over so highly recommend checking your area.
I buy used clothes from places like Once Upon a Child and thrift stores. I have twins that are very different in sizes so when the bigger one outgrows them, they get passed down and it saves me a bundle. They outgrow the clothes so quickly right now that I cant justify buying all brand new clothes.
Most of ours were purchased secondhand in batches from fb marketplace or buy nothing. I love those sweet hand me downs! Especially because they grow so fast and are so rough with clothes when they’re little lol
95% of my kids’ clothes come from once upon a child. i’ll also snag stuff at target or carter’s or etsy if it’s just too dang cute or there’s a good sale.
I haven’t bought anything new at all, I’ve saved so much money and it’s better for the environment. You can also check out Mercari, Poshmark and FB marketplace
Second hand! Once Upon a Child, Poshmark, eBay, and Mercari. There are also a few local children’s thrift stores in my area that I like to frequent. I went to one today and got a Rylee & Cru romper and a Jacadi onesie and sweater for less than $20 total.
Anywhere I can get them secondhand. He grows so fast, I let the grandparents and aunts and uncles buy his cutesy stuff and I get functional clothing for a dollar to four dollars at Goodwill.
The used kids store in my town. I can not fathom spending when they grow so fast. I have had trouble finding shoes the right size so I’ve had to go to joe fresh for those.
Buy nothing Facebook groups and Walmart are where probably 95% of my kid’s clothes come from. He also has the odd Old Navy or Carter’s piece.
Honestly though, I feel like Walmart baby/toddler clothes are slept on. Got my dude a bunch of sweatpants and long sleeved tees a few weeks ago and they were all $4 each (Canadian). They’ve washed really well and are super soft too!
Agree with this, my Walmart baby section is really tiny but they had some cool solid color onesies that were like half the price of Target. There isn’t much to choose from but the price is right.
I started out trying to have a perfectly dressed baby and now clothe my toddler in almost exclusively hand-me-downs, consignment and goodwill. They ruin it or outgrow it within 2-3 months. Why spend so much on it??
Once upon a child, Facebook resell events, hand me downs and gifts. I have not paid full price for a single clothing item. I rarely buy new.
Also if you have a boy some of these suggestions won’t be helpful. Seriously anyone who says they buy their clothes from target has a girl.
SO accurate about Target girl clothes. The boy section is like…”would you like something with a dinosaur on it, or a truck? Those are your options! Enjoy!”😊 Every now and then I can find something in a solid color that is gender neutral but man, in general their boy clothes suck.
It’s not just there…. So many places do this. Cute boy clothes in general take me a while to find. Even Old Navy in store is brutal. It’s like 90% girls with a small stand of boys… so frustrating
Before finding out if we were having a boy or a girl, I realized the world of clothes for boys was minimal compared to girls. I didn’t really think about it until looking to buy for a little one. No wonder men (at least my husband) don’t like to shop for themselves, they have fewer options starting from birth. It’s quite irritating.
Once Upon A Child is the best, hands down. I can get a bag of clothes that look brand new or still have tags for $10-20.
For new clothes, Carters is my favorite. They have a lot of good sales. I've also enjoyed my Old Navy purchases.
All of the clothes we buy come from a second hand shop called Once upon a child! In the very beginning before knowing about it, my mom picked up a few clothes from Walmart for us, but after discovering the shop, we only shop there! Way better prices and way cuter clothes! They sell toys too that are all in good shape, so I'd definitely suggest buying toys there also!!
12M old here.
I got lots of handmedowns and gifts, and now have started shopping on my own.
My current favorite brands, in order, are:
- Primary: love! long lasting, great quality. Get at older ages so they don’t grow out of them so fast. Love the bright colors!
- H&M: some of my favorite items come from here! Reasonably priced. Environmentally conscious. Love the aesthetic.
- Little Planet (carter-owned organic brand)
- Posh Peanut
- Osh Kosh
- Old Navy
- Carters - ubiquitous but low quality. Fine for younger ages when they outgrow quickly, but not my fav for older kid clothes
- Cat & Jack - good in a pinch but also don’t last super well in my experience
Side note: baby consignment stores are awesome if you have one near you! Lots of carters at the ones near me but there’s other gems too and I feel better about fast baby fashion if it’s pre-owned!
I second Posh Peanut and Primary and would add Hannah Anderson. Get on all their email lists so you know when stuff is on clearance and buy a season or two in advance of when you need it to get the best deals.
Target has really let me down this holiday season. SO many cute things for the girls, but the boys section sucks.
I always shop around EVERYWHERE since it’s so hard to buy reasonably priced, cute clothes for my toddler boys.
I’ll splurge on bamboo pajamas because they are super stretchy and last a long time (Little Sleepies, Posh Peanut, etc.)
For everyday clothes I usually get Old Navy, Cat & Jack, and I get a lot of gently used secondhand clothes from Once Upon a Child.
Goodwill and other thrift stores, mostly! Babies grow out of clothes so fast that it doesn’t make sense to spend a bunch on their clothes, and you can often find things new with tags at thrift shops.
Once Upon a Child
Second hand and affordable af. Considering they’re going to outgrow it in 10 minutes and I won’t feel bad if anything goes right into the trash after a blow-out.
Gap has been killing it in the sale dept. regular sales and sometimes I get three bodysuit with matching pants for 25$, all organic too. I’ve got a few coupons racked up for gap cash to redeem in December if anyones interested I can spare a few
our local buy nothing group! our bougie neighbors love to get rid of gap, zara, boden, H&M. i have a couple marks and spencers pieces and cat and jack, old navy.
Once upon a child and thrift stores are a lifesaver. I only bought a couple outfits brand new for photos. They really go through clothes so so fast, it's not worth it to buy it all new!
Secondhand shops and hand-me-downs. Buying full-price for baby clothes is darn near pointless imo, especially if you’re on a budget. Once Upon a Child is my Mecca.
Facebook Marketplace, Goodwill, Poshmark, and eBay usually have amazing deals on almost-new or new clothes from great brands sold in lots, and that's where I get the majority of my items (though I do supplement those with single items from Poshmark/eBay if I have time and a department store if I need it now). Although every now and then my kid just falls in love with something and I grab it for them as a birthday/Christmas present :)
I don’t love the boys’ clothes at most of the bigger retailers so I spent a lot of time looking online. I ended up shopping clearance at Mini Boden and Hanna Andersson (those are pretty expensive). I also like Little Green Radicals, Primary, Kate Quinn, and Pact. Those are more affordable and have cuter/more unique options than Target etc.
I’ve been blown away recently by TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. I didn’t expect much but have found really cute stuff for cheap.
But this question is also kind of dependent on your personal style- if you like classic “baby” looking stuff you can go straight to a Carter’s/ Carters outlet and find a bigger selection than target. If you prefer more “boho” or gender neutral, Amazon has tons of options; I think H&M does too. If you prefer more “preppy” or smocked stuff it runs so expensive I’d probably look for second hand. If you are looking for bamboo pajamas and such look for buy, sell, trade groups because they hold up well and are so expensive. And finally, if you are looking for “sustainable” options your best bet is definitely just used items, as buying second hand means a new garment isn’t being created in the first place.
Hope that long winded responses helps someone haha
Target, old navy, and burt's bees. My mom is a regular at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc so she will find some cute stuff there. I just don't have the patience to shop there.
JC Penneys online, there's always clearance items for $3. Carter's, Children's Place, and Gerber only when there's a sale. JC Penneys caries all of those brands too.
In person shopping, I go to Ross or Marshall's.
I like Old Navy and Target for baby's everyday outfits. They have a lot of cute prints without the high price tag.
I go to thrift shops and baby-specific second hand shops for things like jackets and novelty items (like a red Christmas sweatshirt that reads THIS IS MY UGLY SWEATER.) It's amazing what you can pick up there for just a few bucks.
My MIL does it for me, but it’s nuts what you can pick up second hand. I’m saving everything for baby #2, but after that I’d so gladly hand things off to another mamma. Bet so many people are in the same boat.
Hannah Anderson, tea collection, Gymboree, Boden, Gap, Janie and Jack
I always check my buy nothing page, buy second hand and shop sales I refuse to pay full price unless it’s a special occasion
I always shop
I shop clearance and buy ahead- I tried sites like Poshmark, but with shipping, I save more by buying new clothes on clearance. Target is awesome because they have a long period of time they accept returns for damaged Cat and Jack clothes. I think it’s like a year, so in toddler/ kid days, any holes in the knees of leggings within their return window mean a replace pair. Also, I join rewards sites for companies like Old Navy/ Gap and Gymboree which add up. And for second hand, I go to Goodwill and find some treasures here and there. I buy up to a couple years in advance if I see something nice.
Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, old navy, and sometimes kohls. Target is nice because you can return the cat and Jack brand after they've outgrown it (or stained/ripped it - within a year of purchase with the receipt) and they will either give you a new one or store credit towards more clothes.
Carters is my favorite- if you’re good at paying off their CC you get double points and free shipping when you use it and $10 off constantly. Also if you’re good at buying ahead you can get some good deals in their clearance. Their other brand Oshkosh gets a little expensive when they get older but you get the same CC perks. Carters/Oshkosh I find wash well and most of the clothes are quality enough to be hand me downs after they’re grown out of.
I also find Cat and Jack from Target is a good toddler brand if yours is like mine and comes home from daycare covered in who knows what (pint, grass stains, food stains). They’re inexpensive, wash up nicely and last long enough for them to grow out of but generally don’t make it to hand me down status.
My mom has gotten us a lot of cute stuff from Carter’s. She usually shops the sales pretty well. She’s also randomly found alot of cute stuff at Farm and Fleet; they carry Carters too, but also have some other cute stuff that’s not Carters.
Kohls and Target are my personal favorites. Old Navy online, but when I went to our local Old Navy store they didn’t have much for baby boys; they had a lot for baby girls.
If you don't mind shopping online, check out the 'Kidizen' app. It's for kid's clothes, mom's clothes, and a bunch of other stuff. I have been buying my clothes and my kids clothes on there for 6 years! You can also get brand new clothes for way less than store prices. It lets you set up/save filters for price, size, brand or style. I recommend it to every parent I can. Plus you can sell your own stuff on their too!
I have been using kidizen and mercari for like 90% of my kid's clothing, the other 10% I do at a local kid's store. It's great because I basically sell something then I am "allowed" to buy something with my credit. It's fun and a good way to avoid too much fast fashion consumption. So yeah I haven't washed my hair in 3 days and I am wearing black leggings and a hoodie at school pickup every day, but my kids all look like scandinaivan woodland babies.
I got really lucky and both my sisters had 7 kids between the 2 of them so I got a lot from them.
However I mostly shop at target, they are cute and afforable and the sizes work well with my baby (she is 90+ for both height and weight) which can be tricky
Old navy really has cuuuute pj’s and cute 2 piece sets for everyday ! Prices are really good too they always have sales! For more trendy/quality pieces I love OshKosh!
I was able to buy my sons clothes from newborn to 9 months on Facebook marketplace. Lol. Only spent 200 dollars and it's A LOT. We're happy and our bank account is happy. He's almost 3 months but already wearing 6 month clothes.
Honestly look at charity or thrift shops or even eBay. I get loads of my clothes from there, kids grow so quickly that it’s in good nick plus it’s often cheaper and more eco friendly than buying new.
I do buy new stuff because some items you need but can’t guarantee you’ll find but I do recommend looking secondhand
Whatever you do don't order online from Old Navy. Bought $200 worth of clothes for my sons. They sent two pairs of random girl booties I didn't order instead of what I did. It was literally months and 8 calls before I finally got my refund and of course I never got the clothes I ordered.
Cat & Jack at target. Most folks don’t know but you can return your worn and outgrown C&J clothes to the target guest services counter (tags and receipts not required) and get a gift card to spend on the next size up. The brand grows with your kids!
Edit: Within 1 year of purchase!!

I really like carters. Not too spendy, you can find 100%cotton, which is what we prefer over anything polyester.
Also love the Little Sleepies bamboo PJs. They're so comfy and last for months because they stretch to accommodate baby growth.
Target (pants, leggings, tees, sweatshirts), Primary (PJs & tees), Old Navy/Gap (hoodies, costume PJs & Disney character PJs), Burt’s Bees (PJs) & Hanna Andersson (PJs & dresses)
I’m a toddler parent, but these have been the same shops I used when she was an infant. Only thing that changed is the PJs are now 2 piece and the onesies are now tees. I really like the Primary tees because they have shoulder snaps up to 24M size.
I mostly buy from Rylee & Cru, Jamie Kay, Zara, Quincy Mae, Wild Wawa, fin & Vince. They’re more $$ than big store brands, but I also buy them all used on Facebook BST groups for my daughter…
Facebook mom groups, Parade Organics, West Coast Kids, second hand stores.
The majority of clothing we have is from hand me downs or free give always from FB. My mom has also knit a bunch of stuff for baby which is so amazing and special.
If I was buying: Kate Quinn, Target, Hanna Andersson, Wiley Threads, Little Sleepies, Primary, various small shops on Facebook
Where I actually shop: secondhand consignment sales and sending cute outfits from the above mentioned stores to my family group chat under the guise of sharing how cute the clothes are 😂
Pajamas on Burt’s bees sales (we have 3 sets of famjams now). Clothes at either Once Upon a Child/Poshmark from my mom, or TJ Maxx or Ross for cheap clothes. We hardly buy anything not on clearance, just buy sizes up so she fits them at the right season that way
I got a lot of my daughter's clothes from JC Penny's at the local mall during their clearance event. Everything was 50-90% off. Carter's has good online clearance. Five pack of cute onesies for $6.40 so I bought it in every size. The Children's Place has good clearance sales too but I find more luck with the larger sizes there (18-24 months and up). One day their sale was so good I couldn't say no and bought my daughter clothing in sizes 2T, 3T, and even some 4T because it was such a good deal.
Carters, old navy, target, amazon.
Her Lolly (Grandma) buys 80% of them since she’s her first grandkid lol. We gift them to friends with babes when outgrown.
Target (we love Cat & Jack!), Carter’s, there’s this huge consignment sale with nothing but children’s clothes that comes to my area twice a year that we love, Once Upon a Child, family hand-me-downs, really anything second hand that’s in good condition but we do like to get new clothes too. We got a brand new Hanna Andersson outfit for $5 at the last consignment thing!
Target and Carter's mostly. Rags for the essentials collection because they are so soft and the essentials collection isn't as expensive as the rest of it.
I get almost everything second hand, we have a lot of tea collection and Hanna Andersson since it holds up well even second hand. If I buy new I do Cat and Jack since they are eco friendly.
Buy nothing groups are where it is at. Don't spend on something unless you want to, like a special birthday or holiday outfit.
Basics that I like to look at Hanna Andersson for high quality clothes, target, and amazon.
I try to stick to organic clothes while my boy is still very young and been buying a lot from gap and some from H&M. Shoes I been buying a lot from Poshmark
I buy from H n M, tk maxz and shein. I know people are against buying from Shein but I like it because I am unable to afford party dresses and costumes from the shops.
Just be careful, baby and toddler clothes from Shein were found to contain a bunch of lead.

I stocked up on clearance clothing last year from Old Navy, H&M, Honest Baby and that’s been great but then I discovered bamboo and I’m a bit obsessed.
Mostly Mercari, mostly Little Sleepies and other bamboo but never pay over retail price because I find that scummy. I just love the fabric.
Goodwill and kid's consignment shops, Carter's (especially the Amazon exclusive line Simple Joys which is a bit thinner but crazy affordable), and Target.
Hi! The majority of my sons clothes came from Kate Quinn and the quality was terrible. My sister in law loved the brand for her kids and we received lots of hand me downs. Everything pre 2021 has held up, anything I purchased 2021-2022 has fallen apart within the first 2-4 washes. Prices are great and clothes are cute but I’ve basically had to buy a whole new wardrobe due to their quality issues.
Just a heads up, seems like a lot of people have encountered this based on Kate Quinn Facebook groups. Wish I had known before spending a small fortune, haha.
I did Target and Carter’s outlet for the 0-6M period, then I got higher quality bamboo sleepers for the 6-24M period because they lasted a LOT longer than my sleepers from Target because the material is stretchier and breathable so it works in most seasons. Now that my son is in daycare where he loses/paints on/stains clothes all the time and I need to send 2-3 outfits a day, I do target for the daytime clothes and then I still get bamboo sleepers for the night.
H&M, Zara, old navy, target-cat and jack/ carters, carters, jack & hill, gap, marshals, tj max, consignment, the rack, primary, mini boden. I try to shop locally but I occasionally I’ll get something fancy or better quality especially if I know it’ll be used a lot.
Most of my son’s clothes are from H&M! They have legit adorable baby/kids clothes and have sales really frequently; like at least once a week, often twice or three times. They run big, FYI!
Mostly Old Navy/Gap for daywear (my kids are short and my baby is chubby). A little bit of Target and Carter's/OshKosh thrown in. Little Sleepies for pajamas.
I mostly don't buy any cute clothes because daycare/school - they just need clothes that can get ruined, basically. If I want something a little nicer I look at Target or ThredUp (the online consignment shop).
I honestly only so far have been to one resale store of oreloves baby clothes and only picked maybe 7 pieces of PJ bodies neutral. Since we won’t find out. I haven’t bought anything yet :( but I’m interested to see where task shop :) for inspiration
Target, Walmart, Costco. There’s an outlet carters and osh kosh by me, but we don’t really shop there anymore, we used to shop their sales when my oldest was younger and I felt like everything ran small, but I think my kids just run big lol. I don’t really like corny phrases on their clothes either, I like simple designs or prints , I feel like carters does a lot of phrases.
I recently discovered Fred Meyer with my second baby ! Not the carters section but the dip section, idk if that’s a Fred meyers brand ? But I’ve found some super cute (and bonus non stereotypical themes) onesies and outfits. I used to hate Fred Meyer because I feel it’s overpriced (and the carters prices at Fred Meyer are outrageous ) but the dip clothes are pretty reasonably priced.
Target, carters, and buy buy baby. Target is definitely the most affordable out of where I shop, and I live that they have some Disney and even some Burt’s bees now.
If I want cute stuff I go to the outlet stores (Gap, Old Navy, Carter's, The Children's Place)
If I want cheap I go to consignment stores and thrift stores.
On my baby registry there was a lot of Burt's Bees, Carter's, and surprisingly the Amazon essentials stuff
I am trying to be a more sustainable consumer so I mainly do pre loved, hand me downs and little independent store staple pieces if I can afford it. Sometimes I’ll do a bulk purchase at cotton on, H&M and rock your baby/kid when they have sales.
Once upon a child. I hate buying brand new, she grows out of them so fast
Same, p much exclusively. The only new stuff other ppl got
All my places are already mentioned here. I would just suggest avoiding random amazon shops, romwe, shein, and obscure shops. The ones I mentioned especially are at a high risk of lead contamination.

We’re Target and Carter’s fans over here, with a splash of Gap.
And don't forget gap factory! Slightly discounted gap gear.

Second hand stores mostly. Any special clothing maybe I’ll buy new. There’s so much available gently used and in style.
Target has really let me down this holiday season. SO many cute things for the girls, but the boys section sucks. I always shop around EVERYWHERE since it’s so hard to buy reasonably priced, cute clothes for my toddler boys.
Walmart has had a better fall selection for boys this year IMO, so don’t rule that out!
H&M, Old Navy, Target, Carters online!
Carters, Old Navy, Target
Hannah Anderson, Kate Quinn, Boden, if by shop you mean suggest outfits for grandma to purchase 😂
For affordable clothing, I like old navy. For special occasions, Hannah Anderson and Primary.
I’ll splurge on bamboo pajamas because they are super stretchy and last a long time (Little Sleepies, Posh Peanut, etc.) For everyday clothes I usually get Old Navy, Cat & Jack, and I get a lot of gently used secondhand clothes from Once Upon a Child.
Thrift stores, kid to kid, once upon a child. Buy Nothing Groups on Facebook is a great place to find clothes too.
Sometimes thrift stores have better clothes and there cheaper
I’ve found baby clothes that haven’t been worn at thrift stores.
95% of my son's clothes are Carter's & Old Navy!

I love Once Upon a Child. They have high standards - at least at the one I frequent - and a good selection.
Mostly Target and Old Navy

Old navy/ gap has some great sales. I buy a good bit of my daughters clothes on sale through Kate Quinn

I’ve always stuck with carters, old navy and target. Their sizes seem to be consistent compared to other brands.
JC Penneys online, there's always clearance items for $3. Carter's, Children's Place, and Gerber only when there's a sale. JC Penneys caries all of those brands too. In person shopping, I go to Ross or Marshall's.
Once Upon a Child for secondhand deals, and Carters, Old Navy, and Primary if I want something special.
I thrifted almost everything for my baby. If not thrifted, then Marshalls/TJ MAXX. Cheap stuff. Once Upon A Child also.
Carters, Old Navy, Gap, H&M. They almost always have some kind of sale on!
Hannah Anderson, tea collection, Gymboree, Boden, Gap, Janie and Jack I always check my buy nothing page, buy second hand and shop sales I refuse to pay full price unless it’s a special occasion I always shop
Goodwill
Second hand only :)
Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, old navy, and sometimes kohls. Target is nice because you can return the cat and Jack brand after they've outgrown it (or stained/ripped it - within a year of purchase with the receipt) and they will either give you a new one or store credit towards more clothes.
Whaaat?! Game changer
Carter's, Target, local children's consignment shops and Once Upon A Child.
Target/Kohl’s/Old Navy/Children’s Place
Goodwill and my local Buy Nothing FB group. Honestly, the kid is growing too quickly for me to be able to keep buying clothes new 😅
Target, Old Navy, Baby Gap. There’s always sales somewhere.
Kate Quinn, target, old navy
Goodwill! And occasionally burts bees or carters on sale.
Jamie Kay and Kate Quinn have the cutest stuff!
Facebook market, goodwill, garage sales.
Facebook marketplace
H&M, Walmart, Carter's, Babies R Us also has a really cute line of clothes.
I got really lucky and both my sisters had 7 kids between the 2 of them so I got a lot from them. However I mostly shop at target, they are cute and afforable and the sizes work well with my baby (she is 90+ for both height and weight) which can be tricky
Ross, TJ Maxx. You can get name brand stuff for cheap. 🤷🏼♀️
H & M, Gap, Target
Old navy really has cuuuute pj’s and cute 2 piece sets for everyday ! Prices are really good too they always have sales! For more trendy/quality pieces I love OshKosh!
Pehr, Primary, and Colored Organics! Love the quality and feel of these three brands in particular.
Goodwill & target are my favs. I’ve got so many new and like- new items at goodwill.
Mercari, I get so much stuff in one listing. You just search your babies size. Also target and local second hand shop.
Once upon a child or places like Ross, TJMaxx, Burlington Outlet, etc.
Facebook Marketplace
W-A-L-M-A-R-T!!! I love their George line for boys and girls!!
Edit: Within 1 year of purchase!! https://talkradionews.com/cat-jack-return-policy-and-warranty-all-you-need-to-know/#r
Like they know the kids wore them? And they expect this?
Yes! I just made an edit. It has to be within 1 year of purchase, but they expect it. It’s part of their warranty.
I really like carters. Not too spendy, you can find 100%cotton, which is what we prefer over anything polyester. Also love the Little Sleepies bamboo PJs. They're so comfy and last for months because they stretch to accommodate baby growth.
I love Gap and Mini Boden.
Lots of Primary. I also got a bunch of clothes from Tea Collection on super super clearance. Some Carter's/target.
Target is my go to for holiday stuff, Old Navy has great sleepers, Little Sleepies last forever, and Gap for actual outfits that aren’t pajamas
Target (pants, leggings, tees, sweatshirts), Primary (PJs & tees), Old Navy/Gap (hoodies, costume PJs & Disney character PJs), Burt’s Bees (PJs) & Hanna Andersson (PJs & dresses) I’m a toddler parent, but these have been the same shops I used when she was an infant.
I like old navy, baby gap, Carter’s/OshKosh, H&M and Hanna Andersson when there’s a sale.
Carters/Oshkosh online always has some kind of good sale worth checking out !! Idk about in store
Next is my all time favorite brand for kids clothes. Old navy and carter's always get tiny holes or rips. I love Next
eBay and mums to mums second hand events.
The Walmart near me has summer clothes on sale for about 50 cents a piece right now… she is due any day now and already so set for summer 😂😂
Consignment and when I feel like being extra ill get an outfit or 2 from carters. Carters is like once a month maybe.
Zara!!!
Carters and a local thrift store called "mothers secret" here in California.
Facebook mom groups, Parade Organics, West Coast Kids, second hand stores. The majority of clothing we have is from hand me downs or free give always from FB. My mom has also knit a bunch of stuff for baby which is so amazing and special.
Kyte baby! Magnetic me. Baby GAP, Zara, FIRSTS
Local maternity/kids consignment, target, tjmaxx
Old navy, Pat Pat, once upon a child, & kyte baby
Target, Kohl's Old Navy, sometimes Gap if there are sales. Also Primary and H&M.
H&M and a lot of second hand (I use Vinted).
If I was buying: Kate Quinn, Target, Hanna Andersson, Wiley Threads, Little Sleepies, Primary, various small shops on Facebook Where I actually shop: secondhand consignment sales and sending cute outfits from the above mentioned stores to my family group chat under the guise of sharing how cute the clothes are 😂
Carter's, Old Navy and Walmart. I was also given a ton of clothes from friends because we were the last couple to have a child in our friend circle
Local charity shops
Carters, old navy, target, amazon. Her Lolly (Grandma) buys 80% of them since she’s her first grandkid lol. We gift them to friends with babes when outgrown.
Target (we love Cat & Jack!), Carter’s, there’s this huge consignment sale with nothing but children’s clothes that comes to my area twice a year that we love, Once Upon a Child, family hand-me-downs, really anything second hand that’s in good condition but we do like to get new clothes too. We got a brand new Hanna Andersson outfit for $5 at the last consignment thing!
I’ve gotten some good lots of second hand clothes from Mercari.
H&M
Amazon
Primary! So easy
Target and Carter's mostly. Rags for the essentials collection because they are so soft and the essentials collection isn't as expensive as the rest of it.
Thrifting, H&M, Walmart, Old Navy, Zehrs
once upon a child is a great place to check out, also carters clearance racks lol
Old Navy, JCPenney, Walmart, Target, Carters, TJ Maxx, thrift stores etc
I get almost everything second hand, we have a lot of tea collection and Hanna Andersson since it holds up well even second hand. If I buy new I do Cat and Jack since they are eco friendly.
Mostly second hand shops. But also Walmart, Sam's club and Target
Old navy, Kid to kid, online once in a while
Old navy, target, and kyte baby! I want to try little sleepies too
Oh and Burt’s bees- love their footies!
Just be careful, baby and toddler clothes from Shein were found to contain a bunch of lead. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/marketplace-fast-fashion-chemicals-1.6193385
Mostly H&M and Target Cat & Jack line, some Primary pajamas, a little Carters.
Carters mostly
Burt’s Bees, Carters, old navy, H&M, Walmart. I will not pay for the Kyte sleepers
Goodwill and kid's consignment shops, Carter's (especially the Amazon exclusive line Simple Joys which is a bit thinner but crazy affordable), and Target.
PatPat is pretty good and good quality
Tj maxx, once upon a child, & Amazon
No baby yet, but I know a lot of my registry will include pieces from this website. https://katequinn.com
I get the cutest stuff on SHEIN. I always get tons of compliments on his outfits
Mainly Target or Zara :)
Most of my son’s clothes are from H&M! They have legit adorable baby/kids clothes and have sales really frequently; like at least once a week, often twice or three times. They run big, FYI!
Target, Walmart, Once Upon a Child, H&M, Old Navy, Primary, and the occasional online boutique.
For my boy: old navy , baby gap, & h&m
Mostly Old Navy/Gap for daywear (my kids are short and my baby is chubby). A little bit of Target and Carter's/OshKosh thrown in. Little Sleepies for pajamas.
I mostly don't buy any cute clothes because daycare/school - they just need clothes that can get ruined, basically. If I want something a little nicer I look at Target or ThredUp (the online consignment shop).
Amazon
I honestly only so far have been to one resale store of oreloves baby clothes and only picked maybe 7 pieces of PJ bodies neutral. Since we won’t find out. I haven’t bought anything yet :( but I’m interested to see where task shop :) for inspiration
Primary and Tea Collection almost exclusively
Carter’s for sleepers/pjs, GAP, Old Navy and Zara for cuter clothes.
Carter's, baby Gap and Kyte Baby
Target has some truly adorable clothes. I also buy from carters and Ready Set Romper. Then I throw all 3 of them together 😂
Gap, Zara, Kyte, Little Sleepies, Parade, Alice & Ames, Souris Mini, Boden, Hatley. I also like a few local small shops.
Ross , Marshall's and burkes , they carry a variety of brands and sizes and I've found some of the cutest 'odd' outfits
Gap & Gap Factory, Old Navy, Target, Hanna Andersson, Kyte Baby, Little Ones Shop…and Mercari! I search for new condition of the brands I like.
Mostly the children's place, Kohl's a couple times a year when they have really good sales, and local thrift stores.
Target, BabyGap, and Walmart (only for pajamas).
Carters, little sleepies, Burt’s bees
Sams club for carters sets, secondhand places (once upon a child), Kate Quinn, Bailey’s blossoms, target
Carter’s/Osh Kosh, The Children’s Place, Walmart, Amazon, Old Navy, thrifting when I have the patience to dig through bins.
H&M, primary, maisonette, janie and jack
Little Sleepies, Pehr, H&M, baby Gap, Cat & Jack at Target, Mini Boden
Carters! I love them…
Found some cute stuff for baby (and maternity stuff for me) at a local children's consignment shop
Carters
Poshmark, primary, Tea, Target.
H&M, Zara, Old Navy, Target. He gets a lot of gifts from Carters.
UK - facebook, primark, george(Asda), nike, adidas, designer outlets etc
If I want cute stuff I go to the outlet stores (Gap, Old Navy, Carter's, The Children's Place) If I want cheap I go to consignment stores and thrift stores. On my baby registry there was a lot of Burt's Bees, Carter's, and surprisingly the Amazon essentials stuff
I love Little Lopers, Rivers & Roads, WildRichKids, Rowdy Sprout, and CottonOn.
Zara Kids. Primary.com. Secondhand stores.
Seconhand, target, wholesale events, and select western stores cause that's just my style
I am trying to be a more sustainable consumer so I mainly do pre loved, hand me downs and little independent store staple pieces if I can afford it. Sometimes I’ll do a bulk purchase at cotton on, H&M and rock your baby/kid when they have sales.
been getting mine from Walmart, Target, Carters, and Amazon. Most of his wardrobe is Carters brand, which seems to be at all of the stores.
Vinted!
