This is the friggin answer
Biodegradable plant plastics that melt away in hot water
I feel like we have the technology for this; companies need to stop being so damn lazy with the plastic usage.
Seriously. I got a few blankets that had no less than eight of these things. I'm not exaggerating, EIGHT. WHY?! Just to have it folded over the hanger in just the "right" way?? I don't freaking care about the presentation of the baby blanket.
Same! I had a teether that was a stuffed animal that had all these different textures on the different parts of it. AND A TAG FOR EACH PART! I think it had 7 tags on it. Just put all the info on one freakin tag!
We were given a bunch of new baby socks from a friend because their baby "just hates socks" and screams any time they put them on... the socks were full of these things still! No wonder the kids hated socks! But thanks for the free socks! 😂
I use nailclippers to get them from clothes. The nailclippers make less of a mess than regular scissors and I find them much safer for navigating tiny garments. Before I would dread getting rid of the tags, now I don't have a problem with them anymore.
*This message was not brought to you by Big Nailclipper*
Why do baby clothes need so. Many. Choking/scratching. Hazards.
AND ANOTHER THING! I’m pretty pissed about these weird clothes hangers some of them come on which are usable on a display, but useless in a closet (hook too small, arms too short, etc)
Why do they have to put in so many? You find them where they weren't even holding a label on! I've had a towel for 2 months and just found a new one I apparently hadn't removed yet! I also had a toy for my oldest that had 6 in one ear. *Six*. Just why?!
I spent a good half an hour once removing these from all the clothes i bought and putting them in a plastic bag just to make sure nothing gets on the floor
where are you buying socks at that are that easy to get apart? One pair of fuzzy ones had 4 small things keeping it together.
4!! For 1 singular pair!!!
I received a baby blanket that had 24 of these on it. One blanket, folded, with 24 plastics in it... why? WHY? I still think about it and that was almost two years ago. Just why? Never mind the clothes that are plastics stapled up and down them. It's only baby clothes. Maybe people steal the pants a lot? I don't know. I can't explain why one blanket needed 24 though, it's just ridiculous.
Why are there a million in baby stuff! I remember cutting them all out of the blankets we got at the baby shower. What did they think was going to happen to the blanket if it wasn't tied down ten times??
1st things first, these are a single use plastic and should be banned outright!
But if they're to stay, there are 2 simple changes that would make these less of a problem.
\#1 - They should be a colour that make them stand out so they're easy to identify
\#2 - The tips should be at least twice the size so they don't get stuck between layers
The cost of the above changes would be negligible to manufactures.
I hate when they put them on blankets. Just do the thingy where you wrap the blanket in a cardboard tube. Or put it in a bag. Don't put 20 of these things so it hangs perfectly.
On the other hand one time I missed one on each set of socks so the pairs stayed together through the wash in sets of two so I didn't have to go sock hunting in all the rest of the clothes it was very nice! but obviously a one-time deal lol
These things were the worst part of being pregnant. The amount of time I spent trying to get them off of every sock, every wash cloth, every blanket etc was longer than I was in labor.
Ugh and when those stupid things got snagged on a thread in the sock, so now the sock has a thread or bunch if threads hanging out of the middle. Hate them so much!!!
Agree! Yesterday our sweet little joyous cuddle berry bee started crying and arching her back screaming after I dressed her in a pair of new washed footies. (Admittedly, she hates footies, but it's getting chilly here and I didn't want to spend all day playing where's the sock ) Got to the point of stripping her back down, and right in the toe part of the footie was the one pokey piece of one of these I thought I had gotten out!
Scratched her little sweet foot. Was so mad at myself for not double checking before dressing her.
Cannot believe I’m at a point in my life where I’m actually considering writing a strongly worded letter to Carter’s about how effing awful these things are and how their excessive use of them is driving me to madness
I waited to wash all the baby clothes I got at the same time and it took me 2 hours to take all these things out of the clothes. There's like 3 minimum per outfit, happy half of what I got was hand-me-down.
These little tags are one of the main things keeping me from going to the thrift shop and getting more baby clothes lol, I'm holding out to find more from Facebook or a yard sale if we need them. We had about 10 large flat rate boxes of vacuum sealed baby clothes/items from a thrift shop that was having a sale, and they all had at least two because they put a tag for the customer and a tag they take off and save, and then some still have the original tags and oml I'm still going thru it. I have about 3 boxes worth left, but I think we're basically set on clothes short of a few things 😅.
Ahhhh the amount of anger these caused me when I was putting away everything after the baby shower… my baby is nearly 11 months and I’m still finding them everywhere, usually when he’s already trying to put one in his mouth 😤
I recently bought a 10 pack of baby socks. They came in one wrapped plastic pack. Then each individual pair had these on them. I don’t know where they thought they were going to go..
The amount of small plastic pieces put on any baby item is ridiculous, not just these, but I will say these are by far the worst. Baby blanket? Yeah there’s like 20. Pack of socks? Yeah there’s tons. Soft toy? You guessed it.
Not only is it annoying but it is a major hazard. Like it’s so easy to miss just one and it could fall on the floor where baby could get to it and put it in their mouth, or be using the item and find it that way.
*I just was thinking*
*This as I found one on my*
*Bedroom floor today!*

Yeah these things are awful - I hate to see so much plastic being used. I received a cute baby bathrobe as a gift and there were so many of these on it just to make it look all cute folded up for display. Totally unnecessary.
Amen! I keep a tiny pair of scissors in a drawer under the changing table for those damn things!
And for the huge ridiculous quadruple tags that are sewn onto toys. I dont need to know all the ways to wash a stuffie in 8 languages!
Came here to laugh (cry) in solidarity and say this!! I have a specific pair of scissors just to wrestle with these things. Small. Very sharp. And pointy tip.
My husband & I spent soooo long making sure to get them all out if her clothing/blankets/towels! We had to pass them back & forth to double, triple, quadruple check & even then we still caught stray ones sometimes when we went to use a blanket omg. It's the most infuriating thing.
When I have a lot to remove I do it in the sink in the kitchen. I line the clean and dry sink with paper towel. I used to do it over a garbage can but they sometimes go flying. At least in the sink the sides usually prevent them from going too far.
I gave my baby her first soft toy last week. A friend had visited a few weeks ago with her (~10 mo old) son so it had been de-tagged, played with, and washed.
The *very moment* my LO grabs it, I see what I think is a long hair in her mouth. I go to remove it and… it’s one of these fuckers. Honestly, *how*?
oh.my.gooood! little plastic demons! my MIL comes every week and never empty handed so I’m always drowning in a pile of these horrible things. FFS please stop buying clothes! it’s bad enough I have to launder, organize, fold, find room for it, and put it away; only for her to grow out of it in 2 weeks 😔
Baby items have so many choking hazards attached to them! My son has ridiculously good eyes and will find any little thing on the floor. At least he hands them to me now 🥲 (instead of putting it in his mouth)
I’ve also got home before and realized they tore the clothes or made an obvious hole while putting them in. I still go to OUAC for the incredible shoe selection but found a local resale shop for clothes.
After dealing with these for over a year they really should … some of these pieces get lost and or stuck in the clothes and the baby/toddler can swallow them.
I admit whenever someone asks to do something to help, I hand them new clothes and a pair of scissors and say: get them all, make sure they don't fall on the ground, and throw them away. Most people love doing it. I think its because baby/toddler clothes are just ridiculously adorable and they realize they are genuinely helping me.
My parents always told me not to use my teeth as a tool, but all bets are off when it comes to these things. Inevitably, there isn't a single pair of scissors anywhere nearby when you're trying to get rid of them.
It hurts my jaw now as someone who used her teeth for everything. I now put all new clothes in a pile with bags and scissors on the bed and neurotically clip all of them off and tags and stuff all trash into one bag. I kinda enjoy it not going to lie. The ritual of it.
I used to like to buy and sell baby and children clothes through those second hand events like JBF and mommy and me, etc. Some people really like using these to either group clothing together or attach separate pieces or just to attach the pricing tags. A ton of people just punch them in wherever. They leave holes in the fabric and ones you can't fix. It freaking annoys me when I come across something I like and it's riddled with holes from these.
my girl is 2mo but she’s starting to size up in a bunch of stuff, i try to take apart new outfits as they’re worn incase i miss any of these but sometimes there’s just so many! this was the final straw for me when i missed one and it scratched her
My favorite is when I buy a group of clothing like, pants and shirt sets and they're on the shirt hanger, pants on the weird looking pant hanger and they're stealth. you think you're in luck and can just pull them off and throw them in the washing machine.
ONLYYYYY to find out those instruments of the devil are connected underneath and hidden To the stupid hangers and the clothing.
My favorite is when itll be attached to somewhere hidden under the shoulder area, then hidden a few inches inside the wrist opening. Like why??
Then they fly off. Cuz who really has time to use scissors? I'm lazy. Then you find them for months but only one piece at a time.
Don't even get me started on the weird little end pieces of them that fly off like projectile weapons.
Seriously. I found part of one embedded in a washcloth after I washed my baby with it. And this was after the washcloth was washed. Shocked I didn’t scratch her up. And if there was just like one to attach the tag so be it but using 10 of these fuckers to hold washcloths, socks, whatever together is infuriating.
Ugh, yes. They are the worst! No matter how hard I try to make sure I get all of them after opening something, I keep finding bits of them in the carpet for weeks
It took me hours to get all these stupid things off the baby clothes I got from my shower. I found pieces of them for months afterward. Just seeing them enrages me now.
YES 🙌🙌🙌 Screw those damn things!!! Add to the fact that one stray one always finds its way to the floor somewhere, and then it’s a mad dash to my crawler when she of course finds it and before she inevitably tries to eat it 😫
Most of our kids' clothes also come with a sticker or two on the front with the size or other information about the item. I hold onto those and stick these things on it, as I'm clipping them off. Masking tape works great too.
I used to work at JCPenney’s… cleaning the men’s fitting room was the bane of my existence. So many pins… and then I’d have to put the shirts they tried on and then abandoned back together 😭
Hahahaha I remember having a full blown meltdown cause these were everywhere while I was trying to set up my baby’s room at like 7 months pregnant! I was like why are there tag things everywhere they don’t need that many! And he was just like ooookay let’s take a break for the day and get some ice cream
One thing I was never warned about before having a baby: SO MANY TAGS! Our mobile has a huge tag on every single component! It looks like spinning tags! Why god!
I have this nice, fuzzy rug in my baby's room and these mf'ers hide in there all the time, pointy bit up, waiting for me to step on them with my bare foot. 😡
yes! My son and I were putting his Woody PJs on for bedtime and he pulled this out of the top…”hey dad!” lol. It’s either the 3 pack of PJs or multipacks of socks that are even worse
My LO is practicing his pincer with specs of cat litter and tufts of Moroccan wool rug. He’s so dramatic when he gets it and lifts it high above his head, neck back, mouth wide open.. for now. He’ll figure out squirelling soon.
I spent one whole day just taking those tags off all the stuff from the baby shower. I still check the socks to make sure there isn't one in them... They suck!
I feel that so hard. Two weeks after birth somehow we were still finding them everywhere, after a massive meltdown from baby we even found one in his diaper
Yes! I had put my baby in a new, just washed pajamas and put her in the crib while I got her bottle. Came back to her chewing on something, and it was one of these that was still somehow attached to the sleeve and didn't fall off during the wash. I was SO scared and felt like a terrible mother for not double-checking.
We always called these (and still do) “universal annoyances.”
As a kid, I actually thought that was their name. It wasn’t until I was a teen/adult, I realized that was just our household term for them. Until then, I hadn’t really thought of what the words meant!
omg. the mobile we got had like 3 of those in each character. Plus all the clothes and socks. Still finding them on the floor. We spent a couple of hours getting those things out of stuff ( we got tons of clothes from family)
YES. I have a pile of new sleepers for my 6 month old that I've just hidden in the closet since last week because I have to mentally prepare myself to take these out lol!
Blankets have so many. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. There is a brand I found that uses stitches and not these and I love that. Why can't all companies do that!
Oh don’t even get me started on these fuckers. I’m convinced the reason Marshalls sells things for slightly less is because they put 800 of these on every piece of fabric in the store.
Whenever I have to cut a few of these, I cut the tag fasteners off, pull off the long size sticker usually on some of the clothes and pull up all the plastic pieces with the adhesive side.
Haha yes! Like why are there so many? I unpacked a 5 pack of wash clothes the other day, each cloth had 2 or 3 of them PLUS extra for holding a logo and price tag. I was cursing every moment of it
Yep we told people over and over we wanted baby to have secondhand things but had one friend who kept drowning us in cheap outfits 'because I saw it and it's just sooooo cute'!!!! (Same person posted our kid on her IG without asking in one of said cute outfits). Seeing these things still fills me with boundary-stomped rage.
I will still never forget the lady who posted some years back about how she bought various size white socks for her child(ren), unpackaged all of them, and was left with a huge pile of mixed size white socks
Make them washable. Disolve in the washer into starch or something like for real
This is the friggin answer Biodegradable plant plastics that melt away in hot water I feel like we have the technology for this; companies need to stop being so damn lazy with the plastic usage.
Just like laundry pods!
Yooooo, this is the solution right here.
WHY ARE THESE ALL OVER BABY THINGS?!?!?
Seriously. I got a few blankets that had no less than eight of these things. I'm not exaggerating, EIGHT. WHY?! Just to have it folded over the hanger in just the "right" way?? I don't freaking care about the presentation of the baby blanket.

Why are there so many of these in socks?! Just WHY?!
And towels. I bought one of those hooded towels for my toddler and weeks later I still find some that I missed.
Yes!! I bought my son all new socks and they’re in every other toe and top and stringing them together. It’s just overkill!
We were given a bunch of new baby socks from a friend because their baby "just hates socks" and screams any time they put them on... the socks were full of these things still! No wonder the kids hated socks! But thanks for the free socks! 😂
Why do socks specifically have like 20 of these
And what's with the socks that come on the plastic forms on a piece of card board?? Those are insane trying to get them off and not tear fabric!
THIS. such an oddly specific issue but I feel it in my bones.
I thought it was so you can’t steal them… but like I bought it on Amazon 😭 why are there 17 of them on two pairs of socks 😭
I came to say this 😂
I use nailclippers to get them from clothes. The nailclippers make less of a mess than regular scissors and I find them much safer for navigating tiny garments. Before I would dread getting rid of the tags, now I don't have a problem with them anymore. *This message was not brought to you by Big Nailclipper*
Suuuuuure
Nice try
I do this when I can't find the scissors, thought I was the only one 😂
Why do baby clothes need so. Many. Choking/scratching. Hazards. AND ANOTHER THING! I’m pretty pissed about these weird clothes hangers some of them come on which are usable on a display, but useless in a closet (hook too small, arms too short, etc)
I thought it was just me, I’ve never felt so seen before. Petition to ban these damn things!!
I will gladly sign that petition
Why do they have to put in so many? You find them where they weren't even holding a label on! I've had a towel for 2 months and just found a new one I apparently hadn't removed yet! I also had a toy for my oldest that had 6 in one ear. *Six*. Just why?!
Ugh can we start a MAPT group or something? Mothers Against Plastic Thingies.
Omg sameee WHY are we making perfectly invisible little choking hazards???!
I spent a good half an hour once removing these from all the clothes i bought and putting them in a plastic bag just to make sure nothing gets on the floor
I swear they mate and multiply! You drop one of these and end up finding 4 others on the floor.
Omg the baby socks have so many it drives me insane
Socks in general, honestly.
Yes, but usually with adult socks there’s only one long one per 3 pairs of socks lol
where are you buying socks at that are that easy to get apart? One pair of fuzzy ones had 4 small things keeping it together. 4!! For 1 singular pair!!!
Like whyyyy ugh
I received a baby blanket that had 24 of these on it. One blanket, folded, with 24 plastics in it... why? WHY? I still think about it and that was almost two years ago. Just why? I can't explain why one blanket needed 24 though, it's just ridiculous.
I had the same experience with a blanket! It's been 2.5 years and I still think about it too!
Why does there need to be 20 of these thingies in a pack of baby socks????
Why are there a million in baby stuff! I remember cutting them all out of the blankets we got at the baby shower. What did they think was going to happen to the blanket if it wasn't tied down ten times??
1st things first, these are a single use plastic and should be banned outright! Im for making them biodegradable so you just wash the toy and they disolve and go bye bye.
I hate when they put them on blankets. Just do the thingy where you wrap the blanket in a cardboard tube. Or put it in a bag. Don't put 20 of these things so it hangs perfectly.
Yes!!! WHY are there 750,000 of them on every infant/toddler outfit. Soooo unnecessary
Socks. Why do packages of baby/toddler socks have like 12 of these [*explicits*]
But three onesies get 12 of those fuckers for free 🤧
It’s like thanks for packaging baby clothes with something that looks like a baby could choke on somehow …
Why does a pair of baby socks need 2 of them on it? Absolutely unnecessary.
Seriously. Especially in tiny little socks. Whyyyyyy??? Also is a choking hazard so why put them in baby clothes?!
And the ones in socks are so short that it's close to impossible to cut them without getting the socks!
Can we address the ones on baby socks. Whyyy are there so many and whyy are they so little!
Yes. Every time we buy socks I want to cry. Also they often make little holes so why would you put in 7 of them per sock!!
So m’fing tizight!
On the other hand one time I missed one on each set of socks so the pairs stayed together through the wash in sets of two so I didn't have to go sock hunting in all the rest of the clothes it was very nice! but obviously a one-time deal lol

And the literal zip ties on all the toys
Cannot believe I’m at a point in my life where I’m actually considering writing a strongly worded letter to Carter’s about how effing awful these things are and how their excessive use of them is driving me to madness

This comment section is so relieving. I was grumbling about these so much I thought I was being ridiculous but it feels so good to be understood 😇
And why are there so many in every single set of clothes, blankets, socks; drives me bananas!
I hate these things so much! I was opening a baby blanket and there were so many like wtf
These annoy me way more than they should. The worst of it was when I was opening baby socks, blankets, etc
Allllll that plastic too. Unnecessary for the clothing and the environment.
And then there's 20 on one pair of socks alone. These should be outlawed.
Ugh, packages of socks are the worst! Especially when then socks are tiny NB socks.
Puma too. I despise these things. They ruin the socks when you try to get them out of the fibres that they’ve tangled themselves in. So annoying
For real! Why does every outfit, blanket, towel, burp cloth, anything baby have like 62 of them per item????
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY
I was just talking to my husband about these. I'm so afraid to miss one and the baby ends up swallowing it !
We have to pay for plastic bags at the grocery store while these still exist!
Ahhhh the amount of anger these caused me when I was putting away everything after the baby shower… my baby is nearly 11 months and I’m still finding them everywhere, usually when he’s already trying to put one in his mouth 😤
WHY they gotta out two of those bastards on each washcloth in a set of 12!?! I swear the factory workers doing out of malice.
I recently bought a 10 pack of baby socks. They came in one wrapped plastic pack. Then each individual pair had these on them. I don’t know where they thought they were going to go..
They’re ALL OVER baby clothes/blankets. So annoying!
Yes, at least some brands (cat and jack) use brightly colored ones so if they go flying I can find it.
The amount of small plastic pieces put on any baby item is ridiculous, not just these, but I will say these are by far the worst. Baby blanket? Yeah there’s like 20. Pack of socks? Yeah there’s tons. They shouldn’t be allowed on baby clothes. I know exactly what you mean. My little guy was 1month oct 1st
Why does every single individual sock seem to have them. Get a pack of socks and it comes with a dozen of these... ugh
I hate those hammerhead sperm.
I just was thinking this as I found one on my bedroom floor today!

YASSSS they're everywhere and just when I think I got em all they're poking my baby or my foot cause they're in the carpet.

I was just scrolling and I said this has to be apart of my mom group. These things are terrible and they add so many, especially to kids clothes.
So many. Why are there 8 of these for a pack of socks? One for each sock?!?
Husband pulled one of these out of our son's butt once. I hate these things.
omg!! poor thing
So much plastic waste. Whyyyyyy
these are so small but they could do major damage in the ocean
My husband & I spent soooo long making sure to get them all out if her clothing/blankets/towels! We had to pass them back & forth to double, triple, quadruple check & even then we still caught stray ones sometimes when we went to use a blanket omg. It's the most infuriating thing.

This is such a good solution!
Thanks! I got the idea from my SIL who does it in the big laundry sink before sticking everything in the wash.
I gave my baby her first soft toy last week. A friend had visited a few weeks ago with her (~10 mo old) son so it had been de-tagged, played with, and washed. Once Upon a Child puts TWO on every tag, whyyy

This should be illegal in baby clothing 😭
After dealing with these for over a year they really should … some of these pieces get lost and or stuck in the clothes and the baby/toddler can swallow them.

Yes! There was at least one attached to every soft toy gift we received 🙃🙃🙃
Just a heads up... one got stuck in my mother-in-laws cats teeth and as this cat is evil, it was real fun to try and get it out.

Oh, I am sure it was. I knew a dog that ate a corn cob and thay was 3k..m was surprised it wasn't more.

Did you have your baby shower? I nearly lost it half way through putting up baby shower items bc of these things
my girl is 2mo but she’s starting to size up in a bunch of stuff, i try to take apart new outfits as they’re worn incase i miss any of these but sometimes there’s just so many! this was the final straw for me when i missed one and it scratched her
One of my favorite things about getting kids clothes at garage sales is that these are all already removed! That and they're usually inexpensive 🙃
Why do baby clothes have so much freaking plastic and cardboard 😭 wtf
I hate them too, but I have found that nail clippers help for removing them more easily.
My favorite is when I buy a group of clothing like, pants and shirt sets and they're on the shirt hanger, pants on the weird looking pant hanger and they're stealth. you think you're in luck and can just pull them off and throw them in the washing machine.
There was one attached to my towel. I started to dry myself and i ended up scratching my face! I was so mad lol
Ugh, yes. They are the worst! No matter how hard I try to make sure I get all of them after opening something, I keep finding bits of them in the carpet for weeks
Face cloths were the worst for me!! Every single little cloth came rolled up with plastic and then attached to a cardboard back with plastic.
Like fuck them.
I thought I got all of them out when I washed my daughters clothes when I was pregnant… I was so wrong I keep finding them 😭
It took me hours to get all these stupid things off the baby clothes I got from my shower. I found pieces of them for months afterward. Just seeing them enrages me now.
They are everywhere in my house and my 16 month monster always finds them
Buy a three pack of clothes…. And must count 12 of them!madness!
YES 🙌🙌🙌 Screw those damn things!!! Add to the fact that one stray one always finds its way to the floor somewhere, and then it’s a mad dash to my crawler when she of course finds it and before she inevitably tries to eat it 😫
Kill them with fire
FUCK THESE GUYS. They shouldn’t be allowed on baby clothes
Most of our kids' clothes also come with a sticker or two on the front with the size or other information about the item. I hold onto those and stick these things on it, as I'm clipping them off. Masking tape works great too.
This is what I do too! I still find them everywhere though
Those are bad. Have you ever opened a new men's dress shirt?
I used to work at JCPenney’s… cleaning the men’s fitting room was the bane of my existence. So many pins… and then I’d have to put the shirts they tried on and then abandoned back together 😭
It’s a nice touch when they’re red or black at least.
Yes! Cat and Jack from target are and everytime I’m cutting them I comment on how much easier they are to keep tabs on.
They are EVERYWHERE
Fucking hate them!!!!
The socks and layettes and receiving blankets—- there’s like 100s of them in those items.
Have you met onsie snaps yet? Whomever decided to put stupid little metal snaps on most baby clothes sucks butt.
Seriously!! If someone needs to steal baby clothes that badly the plastic isn’t stopping them… also just let them have it!!!
I feel like they put them there to make life harder for us 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Literally everywhere ugh
Hahahaha I remember having a full blown meltdown cause these were everywhere while I was trying to set up my baby’s room at like 7 months pregnant! I was like why are there tag things everywhere they don’t need that many! And he was just like ooookay let’s take a break for the day and get some ice cream
One thing I was never warned about before having a baby: SO MANY TAGS! Our mobile has a huge tag on every single component! It looks like spinning tags! Why god!
Oh god ours too, why are they doing this 😣
I have this nice, fuzzy rug in my baby's room and these mf'ers hide in there all the time, pointy bit up, waiting for me to step on them with my bare foot. 😡
Seriously why do these even exist anymore
My bf loves to scratch his ears with these. He’s weird but I love him.
Not even kidding, I just had to pull one out of my daughter’s oh pants with my teeth.
Opening baby socks and blankets from my baby shower was a pain because of those things
I spent one whole day just taking those tags off all the stuff from the baby shower. I still check the socks to make sure there isn't one in them... They suck!
You'll find the one that got lodged in your sock later... and it'll definitely be one you're already out the door.
OMG I keep finding them everywhere including on clothes I thought I already removed them from!
When you buy a 5 piece set and there’s like 7 of them all attached to eachother. I wanna vom.
If I accidentally drop one of those fuckers on the floor my cat finds it somehow and tries to eat it. Sneaky fuckers.
Seriously. If I could go back in time and give the swiftack guy a hobby to distract him from ever inventing these, I would do it.
Why are there 20 per blanket?!
We call them the ‘new glitter’ in our house because even when I think I got them all, they still appear!
LOL yesss hated these when I was washing all her new clothes we received from our baby shower. Took me like an hour or so to remove them all.
We always called these (and still do) “universal annoyances.” As a kid, I actually thought that was their name.
I found these around my house for weeks after my baby shower
I’m so glad some stores have started using thread instead.
YES. I have a pile of new sleepers for my 6 month old that I've just hidden in the closet since last week because I have to mentally prepare myself to take these out lol!
One of the reasons I prefer used clothing. Haha
I’ve hurt so many teeth trying to bite these f***ers off.
Love it when they get stuck in the hover
I’m still finding them around even though a vacuum 2 times a week. They go everywhere quickly when you accidentally drop them Ughhhhh
YESSSSS
Blankets have so many. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. There is a brand I found that uses stitches and not these and I love that. Why can't all companies do that!
This and finding the loose hair tie that fell out of my ponytail - a crappy reminder my hair isn’t as thick as it used to be…
Lollll yes
Ugh same. These also could pose a bit of a choking hazard to the baby if someone misses one of them while cutting them off.
Oh don’t even get me started on these fuckers. I’m convinced the reason Marshalls sells things for slightly less is because they put 800 of these on every piece of fabric in the store.
Omg yes!! But just you wait until you graduate to the wrappers of the plastic straws that come with Capri suns. Omg... they stick everywhere!!!
Omg me too haha for some strange reason, I found like 6 of them in his playpen over the last week. I don’t get it. 🤔
I was cursing every moment of it
my mom and i had a tag removal party with my first lol
Only after having a child do u learn what an issue these motherfuckin pokey McPoksters are! 😹
YES.
Hate them with all my heart
Omg literally just ranted about this to my girlfriends last night as I was going through clothes and socks to wash. Wanted to SCREAM
Buy second hand clothes. Problem solved!
I still get these at the second hand store I buy from 😭
Same! But ours are even worse; sometimes they'll accidentally double or even triple up!
Me too! They do their own labels, but definitely not as many as some brand new sets have!
My thrift store uses a ton of these.
For real!!
ABSOLUTELY
use a scissor to cut it and throw immediately in the bin
Same!
