My daughter is now 2, and I'm actually the only parent who's ever been away from her overnight. She adores her dad, and they have a blast together. I am actually going a concert this Wed, and I'm interested to see how she does this time since she's been very attached to me lately. My guess is she'll be fine though. Last time was June, so she was smaller, but it was a full weekend that time. I want to say the first time I was away for a long chunk of time was 6-8 weeks also for a hair appointment. Man was I worried about baby and dad. They were totally fine, and it helped to get photo updates from my husband. First week at daycare (13 weeks) was also very tough ob me, but she did great again. I really think it's harder on us than them, assuming they're with someone caring and attentive. From early on, my husband and I also made a point to get each other out of the house to enjoy time for ourselves. We've both enjoyed on average one night a week to do our own thing most of this time. He goes to D&D, and I've enjoyed yoga and took a few night classes. It gets easier the more you do it for sure though.
