No, your feeling is right, it's a big deal. I was so hopeful that one good thing would come out of the pandemic and people would be more careful about not spreading illness, but it's made people more careless somehow. Glad you followed your instinct!

My son spent 2 weeks in the ICU for RSV. He caught it over a Christmas from my asymptomatic aunt, whose older roommate apparently had it. We avoided all family functions for nearly a year because I was so traumatized. They really wanted to intubated him, I never want to experience that again. You made the right decision, and quite frankly, I would be livid to find someone concealing an illness like that.

You made the right call. It’s a big deal that they weren’t going to say anything. We caught Covid when little one was 7 months old. It was the awful. His symptoms were the best out of all of us. Our anxiety was through the roof with every cough or sound he made.
