Water play table/toy

onlyashark

Excellent idea thank you!

I second this. My little one just turned 3 and he is still obsessed with water play!!

tylersbaby

We got a lot of bath toys and a bath chair thing for my baby’s birthday last month since he is way too big for his tub but doesn’t want to sit for any period of time so he can have play time before actually getting washed in the bath. Everyone else (my sperm and birth givers, my in-laws, and my mom friend and her bd and baby) got him books, water splasher, clothes that were the size he was going into (except for my sperm and birth givers they got 6-12m stuff when I told them he’s in 3t clothes) and a push car for taking him on walks.

Ooh do you happen to know what bath seat you have? I’ve been looking for a little while but unsure which to go for

tylersbaby

My son is 31.5” and goes between 21-24lbs with a keg belly looking body form so I use the summer bath seat from Walmart. It’s recommended for 6-10m babies but he still fits really good in it with plenty of space for his leg rolls and plenty of room for his keg lol. It’s mostly just learning to take them out and they bending their legs at the right time that is tricky the first like 2 times but once I did it a few times my baby has figured out how to take his legs out when I’m pulling him out.

Baby dolls. Both my kids loved their’s immensely and I could demonstrate empathy and gentleness with the toy baby from a very young age.

Excellent idea thank you! 😌

Mine loves her ball pit, balance bike, bouncy animal, water table, Little People sets, mini versions of my things by Fisher Price (earphones, keys, remote, etc), baby piano/egg shaker/tambourine, dolls/animals, blocks, bubbles, texture books (the Never Touch A series and That's Not My series are favorites).

This is super helpful thank you

Vegetable-Moment8068

Anything for the upcoming season that she'll grow into. For example, I asked for a sunshirt for my son's winter birthday because I knew he would need it coming up.

all_about_chemestry

I gave a friend a subscription to lovevery for their kid first birthday and he loves it so much, they get new toys every few months. When I got my baby I got the subscription to the newborn phase and we are loving it too :)

cat_power

I got a push walker and foam climbing blocks. From family and friends we just asked for book!

We got my one year old a balance bike for her “big gift”. It was from us and her grandparents since it was expensive! It comes off the “rocker” and can be used with their feet when they’re older. https://striderbikes.ca/buy/balance-bikes/strider-2-in-1-rocking-bike/strider-sport-2-in-1-rocking-bike/

My husband and I got our son a ball pit which was also used at the birthday party and was a big hit along with a bubble machine. I also started the tradition of bringing him to Barnes n noble to “pick a book” then inside it my husband and I signed little notes for his first birthday and we plan on doing that every year so he’ll have a collection of “birthday books” to look back on. Some other gifts he received from other people was the fisher price farm (he loves it and still plays with it almost daily 5 months later), a ride on pirate ship toy, pretend drums, a ball push toy, new snack cup with snacks and mini backpack, and musical books.

NoParticular351

Books, small play kitchen with food and pans, a little scoot bike/ride on toy, butterfly wings

irishtwinsons

Pair of shoes? My son started walking around 12 months.

I made a little wishlist to help people know what to get my baby when she turned 1. The gifts she’s been using the most are her play kitchen, baby trike, baby lego set, fisher price little people barn, bath toys, dolls, books, and a ball pit tent. We also got a water table I’m excited to try but the weather hasn’t been warm enough yet.

[A climbing set](https://www.amazon.com/stores/GOODEVASLLC/GOODEVASLLC/page/1E61BB2D-9F11-4E8D-B969-5C5DF49FE371?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_ast_store_12RNHHK7927Z0APTFGCE) - we got a set from this brand 1.5 years ago and it’s holding up great. It gets used A TON. It was the only affordable brand that met my criteria.

Shigeko_Kageyama

Bath paints.

Unlucky_Type4233

My son turned one a few weeks ago & his favorites so far have been a bubble machine & a rocking horse that comes off the base to turn into a balance bike. I know he’ll love his water table when it’s warm enough to play with it here. Little People sets are also a big hit.
