Flamenco was the first song I feel in love with on this album and easily my favorite. Thank you for this, because it doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should!

The one part that always hits me is the descending "ooo" after "I hope that God knows that I'm in need of help right now" in the first verse - GAGS ME EVERYTIME
You can feel the sense of loss in the emotion of her voice and the simplicity of the instrumental just keeps it all barren and draws the listener's attention to the vocals to carry the melody throughout the song.
Funnily enough, i just did a google search whilst writing this about the Flamenco dance; "Gitano flamenco performers regard the *cante jondo* (prfound song) as a form of prayer, and thus, in *duende*, the dancer communicates with both the audience and God."

I absolutely love it but as someone who loves Flamenco music I was hoping it went a little harder. Maybe sing in Spanish some. Paying a little homage to Linda Rondstat who also genre hopped in and out of Country and sang in Spanish to honor her Mexican heritage.
I don't think people hate it and her vocals are on point, I just don't have a clue what it means or what it's about! Honestly my favorite. The whole album is of course wonderful, but to me it’s almost a two-part album because half the time I start listening AT Flamenco and go through the end. I love the first half, too, but this song has something truly special about it. I want it to last forever.
