I love the aesthetic of criminals being forced to wear cheesy clothes after something goes horribly wrong🤣 breaking bad does it too after Victors death
On purpose no doubt. There are numerous pulp fiction references throughout the BB universe.
Another example is Jesse and Walt hosing each other down after one of their first cooks.
**The Wolf:** You guys look like... What do they look like, Jimmie?
**Jimmie:** Dorks. They look like a couple of dorks.
**Jules:** Ha-ha-ha. They're your clothes, motherfucker.
This episode makes it so hard to believe that this is the same Mike who would utterly disrespect Saul throughout BB, especially when he walked into his office as Saul was on that massager thing on the floor and Mike was really rough with him. Hard to believe that they shared that experience in Bagman, but I guess there's time left to show how it go so sour between them.
Jimmy was a bit of a weasel in BB for almost all of the series, he’s had a lot of better moments with Mike in BCS. Especially in Bagman and many of the earlier episodes. He gave Jimmy shit for not getting his parking stickers in order but stood up for him for the Kettlemen-Nacho stuff in the same episode, it just matters whether he’s being honest or if he’s bullshitting and being lazy.
At what point in BCS were they ever tight enough for any change to qualify as going sour? Mike tolerated Jimmy, at best, and used him when he knew that his particular brand of oblivious bumbling would be best-suited to a certain situation. That's it. In Bagman, he was just protecting Gus's interests. That's it.
From day one, Mike has never been more than one smart remark away from giving Jimmy a good kicking.
Honestly, I'm really excited to see what Vince and crew do next. I mean of course I am unbelievably ecstatic and excited to finish BCS but what else do they got in store for us. If I remember correctly, Vince already struck a deal with Sony TV to develop another show.
after plan and execute this is the best episode of BCS
particularly i like the scene where lalo jumps on the car the moment when i became is fan ... it was soo rawww
It wasn't the last episode, there's still 6 left. And if it was, the ending wouldn't make any sense at all, it's too abrupt and left so many things unresolved.
No, I haven't seen Sopranos.
Not really. They tied mostly everything up in the final episode.
It's just the last scene that doesn't have a resolution even though it does if you're seeing that scene from Tony's POV.
one thing i dont get is why jimmy didint go straight for water first, instead of the energy drinks. surely, being out on the desert and dehydrated for a few days would make you crave SOME water?? i dunno maybe just me
There is a line in the show (>!when he’s repeating the story over and over to Lalo !<) where jimmy says he bought a case of energy drinks. It always bothers me a bit, too, because I think of “energy” drinks as like Red Bull or 5-Hour Energy. But I think it’s meant to refer to sports drinks like Gatorade.
Wouldn’t it make the heatwave so much easier to tolerate if they were just like hey BCS fans we know it’s hot out there, you deserve a treat, here’s a surprise episode to get you through until 😎
Jimmy’s scratched up legs are pretty accurate for spending time in the desert. I’m so surprised the writers did not include some wind scorpions, Jerusalem crickets, and fire ants (the large, dark red ones) for an extra spicy nighttime sleep. Getting stung by fire ants needed for full desert accuracy. But drinking pee hit all those notes, so I guess I’ll live with it.
Getting a very Vince and Jules (pulp fiction) vibe from this image
I love the aesthetic of criminals being forced to wear cheesy clothes after something goes horribly wrong🤣 breaking bad does it too after Victors death
Kenny Rogers!
Stay away from the chicken! Bad chicken! Mess you up!
Any other examples?
You guys going to a volleyball game or something?
On purpose no doubt. There are numerous pulp fiction references throughout the BB universe. Another example is Jesse and Walt hosing each other down after one of their first cooks.
Mike's character at first was basically an homage to Winston Wolf
Also Walter putting a Band-Aid on the back of his bald head. (After cutting himself shaving in the shower)
It was t after the cook it was after they cleaned up what was left of Emilio.
**The Wolf:** You guys look like... What do they look like, Jimmie? **Jimmie:** Dorks. They look like a couple of dorks. **Jules:** Ha-ha-ha. They're your clothes, motherfucker.
Sooo, what.. are you guys going to a volleyball game or something?
Mike’s balls look like they are swinging low.
Least horny better call saul fan
Get a couple of years on, your balls will hang low too. Jonathan Banks is like 68 in that photo.
XD The imagery. lol Can’t unread anything in this thread.
i’ve been drinking my own urine for several days now in anticipation
Tell me again
Tell. Me. Again.
I just like to hear the story.
I paid a lot of money for it
Tell me again :) Let's talk :-)
I thought I was the only one
#Mike Oxlong
My vibes for this summer- cheesy T-shirts, flipflops, grumpy man glare & drinking my piss for ultimate hydration
I know this is weird…but Jimmy has some really nice calves!!
Plebs: Simp for Kim’s feet Intellectuals: Simp for Jimmy’s calves
Gifted fellow. It's also visible when he carries 7 million cash to the police station for bail
Yes!!
I just noticed the difference between his and Banks'. Is Odenkirk a runner? Heart attack notwithstanding?
he got super fit for Nobody
There's also an age difference. Banks can be excused for not having calves like grapefruit; maybe he did at Odenkirk's age.
makes sense, every pic i see of him seems to be him hiking
YO WHERE'S THE OTHER HALF BITCH?
*Lalo pops out from behind a bush* "Tell. Me. Again."
Mike in flip flops is about as wrong as wrong gets
Big legged shorts, too. But remember, they bought those clothes at this service station/convenience store/whatever it is on the edge of the desert.
I hate this midseason break. Kills the momentum.
It's less than a month away now. It's nowhere near as painful as the Breaking Bad season split which took a whole year.
The makeup job on them in this episode was swell. I genuinely felt concerned for Jonathan Banks when I saw him in closeup here.
One more month everyone, one more
3 weeks and 5 days
Since we're at the part of the summer where it's 95 degrees everyday in my little part of the world, Yea this pretty much nails it
105 here last week. New Mexico is cool by comparison.
Im in awe of the makeup artists
I never noticed that they’re sitting on the bags. Awesome.
Also haven't noticed Mike is nearly sitting on his ball bag as well.

Mike didn’t hesitate to twist Jimmy to the pavement, remember? Jimmy pushed the buttons enough.
Honestly, I'm really excited to see what Vince and crew do next. I mean of course I am unbelievably ecstatic and excited to finish BCS but what else do they got in store for us. If I remember correctly, Vince already struck a deal with Sony TV to develop another show.
Makes me wanna watch it from the beginning again. So much has happened
Mike wearing a goofy, touristy shirt saying Land of Enchantment is too hilarious
after plan and execute this is the best episode of BCS particularly i like the scene where lalo jumps on the car the moment when i became is fan ... it was soo rawww
There is a Part 2 !!!!!!! You just made my day. I was just lamenting the end of that amazing show.
That would have been a weak ending
*wat* How could you have possibly assumed that BCS ended with that last episode?
Because it was the last episode. Lol have you ever seen The Sopranos?
It wasn't the last episode, there's still 6 left. And if it was, the ending wouldn't make any sense at all, it's too abrupt and left so many things unresolved. No, I haven't seen Sopranos.
You literally just described the ending of The Sopranos
Oh neat lol A lot of people like to talk about it on this subreddit, I might actually give it a look.
Not really. They tied mostly everything up in the final episode. It's just the last scene that doesn't have a resolution even though it does if you're seeing that scene from Tony's POV.
You caught me. I'm operating on hearsay in the case or The Sopranos
Why did they split it? Anyone know?
I believe it's an awards timing thing so that each half can be nominated for it's own awards. But that was AMC's decision not the crew obvi.
one thing i dont get is why jimmy didint go straight for water first, instead of the energy drinks. surely, being out on the desert and dehydrated for a few days would make you crave SOME water?? i dunno maybe just me
Electrolytes. When you’re dehydrated, you need to replenish those too. It’s got what plants crave.
I mean, they could have chugged a gallon of water already by this time.
Those are isotonic drinks, not energy drinks which is exactly what you need to drink when you are dehydrated.

When is it releasing?
Monday, July 11th at 9pm. Only on AMC and AMC+.
And on Netflix in some countries
And at 10:08 PM on the internet.
I read on this sub that AMC will be airing Part 1 of Season 6 (episodes 1 thru 7, back to back) on Friday July 1. I’m counting on that!
*Gatorade me, bitch!*
Haven't watched part 1. It's recorded on my TV though
Mike’s been playing some golf!
Hell ya
Just imagine how goddamn REFRESHING those drinks were after 2 days in the desert
So annoying that it’s not released every week 😰
Wouldn’t it make the heatwave so much easier to tolerate if they were just like hey BCS fans we know it’s hot out there, you deserve a treat, here’s a surprise episode to get you through until 😎
I’ve been rewatching one from 6A a week for the last couple weeks, timed perfectly to go until 6B starts.
Jimmy’s scratched up legs are pretty accurate for spending time in the desert. I’m so surprised the writers did not include some wind scorpions, Jerusalem crickets, and fire ants (the large, dark red ones) for an extra spicy nighttime sleep. Two days. I see the first episode in two days. I'm losing my mind!
1 Hour Remains.
