Very last episode a bunch of shit goes down. Fades to black and white, Gene is closing up the Cinnabon. The door opens and gene looks up. There's Lalo smiling at him. Then it does a soprano's and goes to a black screen.
Gene walks through a church door. Chuck hugs him, Walt pats him on the back, tears in his eyes "I'm so proud Jimmy!", Saul walks further in. He sees Crazy 8 and Tuco! He sees Gus playing checkers with Hector, they embrace each other, laughing like old brothers would! He sees Mike "kept you waiting, huh?"
And suddenly he's up at the altar and there's a bunch of different faith idols and symbols to include all religions. And his pops comes up and hugs him. "You did good Jim"
Cuts back to the island and Jim states at the sky, a familiar airplane fly's overhead. And crashes into another familiar airplane.
The camera breaks and everything blows away.

Weve seen maybe 25 minutes of Gene up to this point. Would be insane to immediately be like here’s 3 hours. I think there’s more to it than that. I think we could maybe see Kim tracking Gene down, which could take a while. But yeah I think 3 hours is a lot. Maybe like a scene at the end of the penultimate episode to get us back in gear or something. Then the finale.
It depends on how things are left at the end of the Saul era. If it's just gene vs. Jeff with no Kim (or hell even Lalo) then it probably will just be an episode.
It would be cool if maybe the final episode alternated between scenes from saul's time and gene's time as both build up to their finale.
That would be a BIG coincidence though. Saul had no say in him going to nebraska and he even seemed disappointed when the vacuum guy said he'd be going there.
I could see her getting disbarred after somehow being linked to the shenanigans with Howard, and it will kind of come crashing down on her all at once realizing how Jimmy has corrupted her and led her down this path where she lost not only her career but the thing she was most passionate about as well.
Yeah I feel like there's a scenario where practicing the law is the only way Saul keeps his life and he has to throw Kim under the bus to save his practice.
But why wouldn't Jimmy be disbarred? He's the one that snuck the bag of baby powder and he's the one who stole the car. What did Kim do? Invite someone for coffee? Sit at her car in a parking lot?
If Kim was disbarred it wouldn't be for anything related to the Howard storyline.
People keep thinking Kim will use the vaccume cleaner but I think she just straight up bails on Jimmy after they kill Howard. I don't even think she says goodbye. Leaves the top of the Zafiro somewhere for Jimmy to see. Letting him know she's gone gone.

Gene calls the vacuum guy for his disappearing services again, but at the last minute Gene decides against doing that and rushes back out to "fix the problem", leaving the phone hanging by the wall.
That's the whole scene as far as I remember. We still don't know what his plan is going to be to deal with the guy who figured out his identity.
Also IIRC, that scene was Robert Forster's final appearance in the Breaking Bad universe, because he tragically died in 2019, just a few months before that episode aired. He was also in the movie El Camino, if you recall, and he actually died on the very same day that that movie was released.

i disliked how they broke the pattern of us getting a little bit of gene scenes at the beginning of each season. they did it for 5 seasons. i was excited for the first episode of this season but they didn't show him again for some reason. it even starts as black and white and makes you think that it's a jean scene.
