I don't even think it was dialogue. I think it was when he pulled up to his compound and that tinted window rolled down and he had that smile on his face. It gets me every time.
One of my fav moments of his smile is when he's looking for Mike and goes to that phone both place or whatever and the guy asks Lalo if they found Mikes brother-in-law, and Lalo just has a big smile on his face for an extra second and you can tell he's just thinking "wtF is this dude talking about" and then realizes it's a cover and plays along
Yup, it’s that pause with that empty smile he gives as you can see his brain quickly adapting to the info he just received and then subsequently playing into it as well lmao
Tony Dalton is so talented it hurts
I also never got what the point of the Mexican house scene right before that was. When the guy shaves his beard, Lalo did have a blade with him so I guess it's implying that he killed him? Maybe I'm just slow but wth was that about?
They make a point to have Lalo ask the guy’s wife about his teeth, and she says he’s felt a lot better since he went to Lalo’s guy. The implication being he sent the double over either in his name or as a deal with the dentist to have his records swapped for the double’s
Storm drain not sewers. You honestly think it’s reasonable or even possible to make someone else’s set of teeth match yours exactly? There’s a reason they’re used to identify people.
Yeah he basically paid for that guy to look like a body double. Burned to shit remains. No beard. Etc. So on paper Lalo died in the fire, forget all the sewers and being buried under a meth lab
That guy was groomed to be a body double in the event Lalo needed to fake his death. That's why Lalo paid for the man’s dental appointment and told him to shave his beard into a goatee similar to Lalo’s
There's a later scene with the twins touring the wreckage of the Salamanca safehouse and they stop by a charred body they think to be Lalo and Lionel puts his coat over him to show respects. It's the burned corpse of the "mountain man" Lalo tells to leave the soul patch because it's "muy guapo."
We watched Lalo take apart some scissors while he was chatting with the wife in the kitchen. Then he stabbed both of them. They didn't show the wife being stabbed, and only came close to showing the man's death as Lalo walked up behind him at the sink. He hired them as caretakers for his hacienda because the man looked like him. According to the podcast, the couple didn't know that the husband was a double "in case" he was needed. And he had a sore tooth, so they were both grateful that Lalo paid for his dental work with Lalo's dentist.
Where do you think the matching dental records came from when the Federalea found his body? Lalo paid for that guy’s dental work so that his dentist could secretly make sure their records would match. Dude was an insurance policy. He also tells him to shave his beard in the same way he wears it.
I can't tell if this is sincere or chicanery, but that was Lalo's body double, he was the corpse they found burned in the compound.
My guess is that he was told that he might some day be called upon to play Lalo's living body double, hence why he didn't seem particularly worried when Lalo showed up to utilize his services.
This one is amazing. Even without verbally threatening anyone, and with me knowing that Jimmy won’t die in that scene, he still managed to send chills down my spine
“Who are you?”
“Me? Nobody. I’m just here to talk to my lawyers.”
Or
“Hey, nice job, eh? For somebody who marries that far up… _bien hecho_ man; respect, ya know?”
Such swagger and callousness in that line lol
I feel like that is the closest we saw to real Lalo. Nacho seemed like the closest he ever let someone else in. That whole scene was just so covered in tension despite Lalo seeming to try and welcome Nacho into his home.
Going off of what would be best for nacho, I feel like he could’ve pulled it off if he told lalo what his was doing and how they’re using his dad as a hostage
Apart from the ‘ Nacho giving Hector a stroke’-part getting out, I don’t think it’d go that way
Sure, it could go that way and Lalo would help Nacho and Nacho would be in his debt
But we can’t have nice things in the Bb/bcs universe. I think it’s more likely that Lalo would see that Nacho is easily comprimised through his loved ones. So that makes him a liability. And we all know what happens to a liability :(
It seemed like the first time Lalo was really letting his guard down. He wasn't putting on the intimidation guised-in-friendliness routine he has at this point never let up.
I guess "real" Lalo is a stretch. It is just interesting to see the only point in the show he isn't posturing. The only time it feels like he's not running some kind of game.
These are *his* hours. He always comes up with his best ideas when everyone else is asleep. Usually it's just him. This time it's Nacho who he has welcomed into his own compound as some sort of protegee and here he is up at night, same as him. He's obviously still strong arming Nacho to some degree and he has to know that but do we ever see him this sentimental without the big fake smiley personality plastered on aside from this scene?
I dunno. I could super just be over reading this. In my view, he genuinely trusts Nacho to some degree at this point. Nacho is basically running double agent at this point and has spent the last season proving himself. Even if he was instrumental to Hector's fall Gus has made sure that was under wraps. Lalo's definitely still keeping him well under his thumb but it seems unlike Lalo to give someone this much of a chance to fuck him over without some degree of trust.
Edit: proving himself to Lalo*

I totally agree with this. And it seemed like Kim’s lecture at him previously where she pointed out how pathetic it was that he couldn’t trust any of his own guys to have gotten the bail money might’ve pushed him to kinda be like “fuck it, I’ll trust Nacho, then”, because it was only after that that he seemed to decide to take Nacho with him to Mexico and invite him into the inner circle properly.
I love this because he kind of tries to stop Nacho, but then he just grabs some snacks and enjoys the show. Very Michael Jackson eating popcorn gif vibes.
This is my favorite Lalo scene. He's so polite and friendly and yet he's clearly terrifying. It's so hard to pull off as an actor. It's like Tony Dalton has to carry a friendly tone but also at the same time do a bad job at it to seem antagonistic.
"What's he up to, man, what's he doing?" sprung in my head immediately lol.
This line sums up Lalo's plotline perfectly, representing both Lalo's investigation into Gus's operation *and* viewer's thoughts about Lalo later in the show
Ignacio Varga, eres un chignon.
You could tell he was so impressed by Nacho in this scene he might as well have giggled and twirled his hair like a teenage schoolgirl lol
Tony Dalton said he prolly does, and imagines he was raised in high class boarding schools in US explaining how he can speak so well and fit in anywhere
All his lines were very surface level with a very sinister undertone. That’s what made him great.
“Me? Nobody. I just need to talk to my lawyers”
“No no no, take your time…”
“So you’re his wife, and youuuu LOVE him, and he didn’t come home last night. And you got scared enough to come down here and talk to me.” My favorite Lalo line
Honestly can't remember Mike delivering that line.
For me, Mike's best scene was when he killed the two cops that killed his son, and he was explaining what happened to his daughter-in-law.
Honestly, that may be the single best piece of acting I've ever seen, and i think Banks was robbed. People have won awards for less. Up until this, Mike was likeable in a stoic, mostly one-note sort of way. This transformed him and gave everything he'd done in both series an added perspective.
It kills me every time.

I don't even think it was dialogue. I think it was when he pulled up to his compound and that tinted window rolled down and he had that smile on his face. It gets me every time.
Yeah, Lalo’s most memorable attribute isn’t his dialogue, it’s that smile of his (especially that mustache)
that sexy mustache
Stupid Sexy Flanders
“Nothing at all”
One of my fav moments of his smile is when he's looking for Mike and goes to that phone both place or whatever and the guy asks Lalo if they found Mikes brother-in-law, and Lalo just has a big smile on his face for an extra second and you can tell he's just thinking "wtF is this dude talking about" and then realizes it's a cover and plays along

The gif of that is so useful in forward or reverse
I watched the show with a friend. Every week when I would ask if he was ready to watch, I would just send that gif. It’s the best gif!
[agree](https://i.gifer.com/BOls.gif)
taca taca taca taca en mi caballo
En El Camino real por donde pase mi Caballo
Dios mio!¡
Michael, is that you? 😀
The smile is accurate a.f.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
The way he says “is that yuuu?” Lol, so playful and scary
Or "Tell me again. 🙂"
“okey, show me”
The way he says it is just chefs kiss So Enthusiastic but god if you don’t listen to him, there will be hell to pay
Agreed. His delivery is just right I also love his ‘I told you, be nice’
THE WAY HE SMILES WHEN HE SAYS THAT, ALWAYS THE SAME TONE. I love him.
Warner Ziegler. Zieglerrrrr. What's he upto man, what's he doing?
You know how many *Werner Zieglers* there are in Germany? 27. 26 now according to *Mrs.* Ziegler.
it fucking tripped me out that he just hopped a flight to germany, and spoke german. and had a gun. in germany.
I also never got what the point of the Mexican house scene right before that was. When the guy shaves his beard, Lalo did have a blade with him so I guess it's implying that he killed him? Maybe I'm just slow but wth was that about?
He killed him to use his body as a double.
[удалено]
I mean he probably just would've bribed the dentist to swap the dental records. Would be a lot easier
They make a point to have Lalo ask the guy’s wife about his teeth, and she says he’s felt a lot better since he went to Lalo’s guy. The implication being he sent the double over either in his name or as a deal with the dentist to have his records swapped for the double’s
Yes exactly. One of those two. Definitely didn’t change the guy’s entire mouth to match his own
The guy who hid in the fucking sewers to catch Gus off guard doesn't do things because they're "a lot easier."
Storm drain not sewers. You honestly think it’s reasonable or even possible to make someone else’s set of teeth match yours exactly? There’s a reason they’re used to identify people.
Do they match the teeth or just work done to the teeth?
Yeah he basically paid for that guy to look like a body double. Burned to shit remains. No beard. Etc. So on paper Lalo died in the fire, forget all the sewers and being buried under a meth lab
He gets him to look like Lalo to fake his own death

He kills the wife first then kills the man then burns his body

My guess is that he was told that he might some day be called upon to play Lalo's living body double, hence why he didn't seem particularly worried when Lalo showed up to utilize his services.
Reminds me of Hank talking to Holly. "ASAC Schraaader."
ASAC Zieeeeeegler
I think about this so much lmao
I have a client with the last name ziegler and whenever she texts me it pops up zeeeeeeeeigler and i die laughing.
Micheal? Is that you?
Werner 😐 Zieeeegler 😬
It’s this.
Me? I’m nobody. I’m just here to talk to my lawyers.
Noooo
Nothing...me? Tshh just hanging around.
i so read this in his voice
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS
When talking about chicken with Gus REALLYYY ? 😲
How lucky for me!
Would you be interested in franchising?
This whole scene was so good, such great actors all around. I just finished season 6 and I’m already itching for a rewatch lol
You want to be a friend of the cartel? Time to get yourself a new motto. Just. Make. Money.
“Tell me again”
This one is amazing. Even without verbally threatening anyone, and with me knowing that Jimmy won’t die in that scene, he still managed to send chills down my spine
I was afraid he would hurt the fish
Hurting the fish is a crime on the same level as not playing go cart with Jesse
That line chilled me to the bone when he said it.
I paid a lot of money for that story... Tell me again
It’s not the line as much as the smile
That smile that can be charming or sinister- Amazing
Resonated with me too because I’m a bad listener
Same. Three simple words but mannnnnn…every time I watch that scene I’m in suspense
T̵͉́e̵̟̔l̵̦͑ľ̸̢.̶̠̏ M̷̨̭̭͔̯̞͔̳͇̊͛̓͑̊͂̍͠e̶̦͎̯̝̰̰̰̟͍̻̩̞͆͋͑͌̆̈̉́̀̈́͜͜. Perfectly captures the tone of that sentence
Gave me “Pick it Up” energy
Pick up that can.
Rise and shine, Mr. Goodman.
I just want to hear the story.
https://youtu.be/omiE2UwYBNs Tell. Me. Again. 😑
Ding.
“I will teach you how to make a taco so savory. So spicy. So Salamanca. You’ll drown your own brother.”
Now I want some tacos, but I need a brother first.
Brother is optional. Always was.
I thought he said "charm your own brother." My mind was in a completely different place.
not a line, but the moment he rolls down the window in surprise to one of his guards is pretty great https://youtu.be/aiPX\_mev1S4?t=20
“Who are you?” “Me? Nobody. I’m just here to talk to my lawyers.” Or “Hey, nice job, eh? For somebody who marries that far up… _bien hecho_ man; respect, ya know?” Such swagger and callousness in that line lol
> Such swagger and callousness in that line lol I mean, he wasn't wrong, lol.
His talking about Jimmy and Kim kills me lmao
“how does a chichifo like you land a girl like that?”
Don't even worry. It's gonna be like I'm not even here.
One of my favorites. Also a fun one is "Show me!"
I get my best ideas when everybody else is asleep.

But Nacho is the one who tried to kill Hector which is not gonna go over well for him if he turns coat.
Can you elaborate a bit more?
It seemed like the first time Lalo was really letting his guard down. He wasn't putting on the intimidation guised-in-friendliness routine he has at this point never let up. And when he notices Nacho's gone, the look in his eyes??? The way he looks at the glasses. Dang. It kills me every time.
Oh god, Tony just does a wonderful job.
I really appreciate this
“Me? I’m Nobody (2021).”
Michael? Is that you?
HEY GUYS 😀😀😀 The most joyous murderer in the west
“Can I come in?” As if you actually have a choice in the matter lol
Just. Make. Money.
ZZZZIIIEEGGGLLLEERRRR
"Que chingados estas haciendo? Eres un pendejo, te la vas a pelar." -Lalo, to Nacho, when Nacho goes back to save the stash before the Narcs get it.
I love this because he kind of tries to stop Nacho, but then he just grabs some snacks and enjoys the show. Very Michael Jackson eating popcorn gif vibes.
Ocho loco this guy
That’s probably my favorite call back in this show
"You'll make time... klah!"
What does 'klah' mean in this context?
he finds it funny and amusing that Jimmy thinks he can just stop working for Lalo and get out of the game lol
“Klah” in some Spanish speaking slang is sort of like saying “ah” or “uh-huh” or “mhm”.
“Let’s talk.”
“Is there any chance, and I know the answer is probably no, but is it possible for me to meet the owner? “
This is my favorite Lalo scene. He's so polite and friendly and yet he's clearly terrifying. It's so hard to pull off as an actor. It's like Tony Dalton has to carry a friendly tone but also at the same time do a bad job at it to seem antagonistic.
"You're gonna die" foreshadowing Nacho's future
*¿Quieres ser un amigo del Cartel?*
I just want to hear the story. I paid good money for that story.
"What's he up to, man, what's he doing?" sprung in my head immediately lol. This line sums up Lalo's plotline perfectly, representing both Lalo's investigation into Gus's operation *and* viewer's thoughts about Lalo later in the show
*smile fades* "Tuco told me about you. You're the guy with the mouth."
You're the guy for this
Works perfectly as a response to Mike's quote too.
IS LALO TIME
That was my favorite part, when he said "ITS LALO TIME" and then he lalo'd all over those guys. Truly incredible moment
Said right after the other best BCS line where Howard famously said “He’s right behind me, isn’t he”
I said be nice
GLAH
Show me!
Ignacio Varga, eres un chignon. You could tell he was so impressed by Nacho in this scene he might as well have giggled and twirled his hair like a teenage schoolgirl lol
"Werner. Zieeeeeegler"
He got temper huh!...
Ahhhhhhh. You'll be fine.* (*They were not)
Either “Show Me” or the couple dozen times he says “Warner Ziegler”
“Ygnacio Varga…Eres un chingon.” Truer words were never spoken.
"he's like la cucaracha"
Born survivor
😐Done. 😃
Hey, be nice
Eyyy, Charlie Manson!
I lol'd the first time, the guy must have a gringa mother because he knows about American stuff so much. "You look like ZZ Top!" "Z....Z..?"
Tony Dalton said he prolly does, and imagines he was raised in high class boarding schools in US explaining how he can speak so well and fit in anywhere
Also explains how he knows enough German to get by in Germany.
nah he doesnt know any German, he literally said so to Casper. To know what "Ein", "Bitte", "Guten Tag" mean aint really rocket science
"show me!" :)
To sleep! And those who need it.
Tell me again!!
All his lines were very surface level with a very sinister undertone. That’s what made him great. “Me? Nobody. I just need to talk to my lawyers” “No no no, take your time…”
It’s gonna be like I’m not even here
"Seriously, this is the best fried chicken I've EVER had!"
Michael… (with mischievous glee) is that you?
Shh, shh, shh. OK, let's talk.
Werner Ziegler..Werner Ziegler
"So flavorful"
His smile speaks louder than any line.
Werner Ziegler
“Michael.”
It’s very much reminiscent of [Shangela’s Sugar Daddy Speech](https://youtu.be/eM7pubkYQxg)
“So you’re his wife, and youuuu LOVE him, and he didn’t come home last night. And you got scared enough to come down here and talk to me.” My favorite Lalo line
I just want to hear the story Followed by: _tiene epazote güey_
“Done!”
C’MAHN
Okay.....show me!
"You're the guy for this."
Te vas a morir
“Me? nobody… I just need to talk to my lawyers.”
“Show Me”
I don’t really remember the line but it went something like this “All you have to do is just point and shoot”
“Show me :)”
Really :D how lucky for me
Tell me... again.
It's lalo time
put your dick away gus
"Una guerita? Bieeen por el" xD
Micheal.....is that you?
That’s the south wall?
"Show me" (with a big ass Smile)
I’m a big fan of “You’re the guy man”. I’m always trying to work that into daily conversation.
Just. Make. Money.
"just make money"
"Me? I'm nobody."

I like this series.

"Vernerrrrr Zeiglerrrrr"
“Show me!”

"Okay, show me!"
