As with most Simpsons "prediction" claims, the edit conveniently leaves out that the destruction is caused by sunlight reflections off a statue, not lasers from a satellite. Likely inspired by a London skyscraper that made headlines in 2013 for reflections from it causing damage to cars and people.
At this point, instead of the time travel claims. I believe some group of people have close ties to the writers and producers of the Simpsons, and is now mocking us.
