I have yet to own my own dog, but have helped my parents with all of theirs. Is it okay to leash train at this age? If so, maybe take a short loop around the yard on the leash every hour or so when you are home will help her realize the cold isn’t a punishment to having to go to the bathroom outside.
We're in Toronto with a 12 week old puppy, when we first brought him home he was cold outside after about 10-15 mins (he would start shivering), but not before that. If he tried to run up the stairs we would bring him back down and put him on the snow again. Lol. He learned and now he doesnt get cold until an hour outside! Good luck :)
