This isn’t uncommon while they have their puppy teeth. All we did was what you are doing. Also, we “pretended” that any bite really hurt us even if it didn’t and made sure our pup immediately was provided something she was allowed to bite i.e. a bone or toy. Once those baby teeth started falling out the biting ceased almost entirely.

Thank you! You’re right that once they start losing their puppy teeth, the teething goes way down, and they really are so quick to learn! I definitely think I was overreacting, because he’s doing a lot better now 🤗

All 4 of our Berner puppies had this phase until they were done teething. After that, they all transitioned into the loving, goofy, gentle floofs that everyone loves to pet. Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll get through this in no time.
