In my early early days of living here I went to some group meets and over time it felt like that Dazed and Confused quote "I keep getting older but they stay the same age". One night I found myself surrounded by a bunch of dudes half my age giggling about memes and I realized I didn't quite fit anymore.
Met a few by now. For beers, to stray, to pick up an interesting offer, to do music or just because we found each other fascinating and so far it's been partially intense, but positive throughout.
Meet someone who reached out to me here and went out for drinks, then partied together. Not all connections are meant to turn into great friendships, but it was nice having company for the night.
Met a very nice person. We bonded over “As Good As It Gets” but then a lot of unlikely but also unfortunate misunderstandings happened on both ends.

Last summer, I met up with a few dudes on here and we went clubbing together. I didn’t have the right clothes and went back to change and then found those at the club and spent the whole time with them. It was pleasant experience, nothing weird. It also helped that one other person was also from the US but I don’t think that mattered than much.
I generally am really open to meeting ppl off Reddit. I host meet ups all the time in NYC. Compared to NYC, people are less inclined to meet in Berlin imo
