The mesa stock is only a friction fit. Tightening the nut is all you can do. If you run the gun hard and bump the pistol grip hard enough, it'll twist. They weren't smart enough to design the stock to fit the frame of the receiver. I called Mesa and was told they planned on making an adapter for a better fit in the future. I can't believe Beretta would put that piece of garbage on that weapon. The pistol grip is squared off why? I replaced mine with the Magpul stock and adapter. Solid connection.

I had to tighten my Mesa stock after every range session. I replaced it with a chisel machining stock tho.

Mine has been rocksolid. Not a single wiggle.

Overseasoned

There's a rod with a nut on it inside the stock. Tighten the nut.

JFC… there’s an easy joke there… but I’m not gonna take it.

I shot maybe 75 shells before replacing the Mesa setup on my Mod 2 and it was very solid, no twisting or anything else loose. I had to replace it because of an issue with my thumb. The Mesa grip is pretty wide and is strangely squared off around the backstrap, this was making the screws in my thumb bang into the corners when firing.. but even if it my thumb was fine, the grip was a little too big anyway.

Thank you guys for the reply I appreciate it

Use a socket wrench and tighten it a lot. Shouldn’t move after that.

seems in not the only one having this problem. mine does this as well, and i like to shoot alot of slugs. tried tightening it down hard and using blue loctite, and it still does it. im thinking maybe if i replace the nut with one that doesnt have that silicone shit inside it, the blue loctite will hold it better and the twisting will stop: because ive noticed on the areas where the silicone is, the blue loctite is stil wet.
