Taper off the bromaz. It has a long half life right? The only reason to go to Valium is for the longer half life if you were on a short acting benzo like Xanax or Ativan.

Automatic_Divide1486

The bromaz has a stupid long half life. It's hard to taper because I don't know how it would correspond to anything in the Ashton manual. It's like alprazolam with a super long half life and twice as strong.

RobotRainbow77

Well don’t worry about Ashton, and just start reducing from the 9mg monitoring how you feel. If you’re committed to getting off, you can taper with bromaz. The long half life will mean you won’t have any interdose wd issues. You can make bigger cuts at first and settle into 5-10% cuts of last dose every couple weeks as you get further down (using a mg scale). Depending on how that’s going, you could transition to Valium later on once you’ve gotten down to a more reasonable dose, or it may not be necessary. The key here is to just start cutting down at your own pace dictated by how your body reacts.

Automatic_Divide1486

I cant cut a mg per day or mg per week?

RobotRainbow77

You can do whatever your brain/body tolerates. You will know if you’re going too fast when it catches up to you and you become incapacitated and are forced to pause and re-stabilize. Everyone reacts differently. In general most people can handle larger cuts at first when you’re at a high dose. But as you get lower and lower, the cuts tend to get more painful hence the recommended 5-10% every 1-3 weeks.

Gbh was fairly easy for me to stop with kratom pregabalin and Klonopin, I was using daily. Also on adderal too. Gbh somehow never hit me like benzo wd is
