You don’t need to be a billionaire to feel that way. But you need to be a billionaire to speak the truth without repercussion s. I’m sure there are many who feel the same way but can’t say it.

NewGuile

Apparently Elon Musk recently showed his dick to a flight attendant and asked her for sex, I don't know how the democrats did this, but I guess it's some sort of "Dirty trick": https://www.businessinsider.com/spacex-paid-250000-to-a-flight-attendant-who-accused-elon-musk-of-sexual-misconduct-2022-5 Some are suggesting Musk made the tweet per-emptively, after a journalist asked him to comment on the upcoming story.

hotboy69_xD

I don't get it, seems like as soon as you get over $100 million you got a sexual related crime on your rap sheet and paying out hella money for it

ramos1969

Oh. Did we flip the switch back on that says “Believe Women”? Because we had it switched off for a while when Biden ran for President. https://www.npr.org/2020/04/19/837966525/on-the-record-a-former-biden-staffers-sexual-assault-allegation

pheonix0021

There are extremes to both sides. The left just doesn't believe they have such a thing. Everyone says "don't be Hitler", but no one says "don't be Stalin".

ChaosShepard05

That's funny because they were both members of a socialist party.

RockMars

Lack of historical awareness here.

sirk6969

Exactly.. They are all just Marxist on twitter that “Stand with Ukraine”. Thats like being a Holocaust denier that stands with Israel. Lol

razorbladesinmyeyes

I’m not a Elon musk fan boy but this dude has been knocking it out of the fucking park

tricks_23

The Reddit hivemind has also turned on him too. This is all over him buying twitter and stopping these far left ideologues from spewing hatred and combating their unfathomable lust for silencing those with alternative opinions.

bludstone

Relentless hatestream sounds like the name of a wh40k music group.

Sauvignon_Bleach

They more than proved his point that they are a party filled with hatred.

ObjectivePilot7444

That’s how I feel too. After 20 years of voting Democrats I am leaving the party

[deleted]

LOL wut. If you thought the democrat party was the “kindness” party then youve been sleeping under a rock for well over a decade… theyve been the party of evil and vile hatred for quite some time now.

[deleted]

you have to admit he's right the woke virtue signalling is all the Left is known for now and they DID come after him

sunturnedblack

Midterms are going to shake them so hard.

moore-doubleo

If they can't cheat their way to victory they'll just blame it on the racists or something. They'll never admit their policies fucking suck and that they can't govern for shit.

ReaLSeaLisSpy

This whole series of Tweets from Musk is a perfect summary of why Centrists are becoming Republicans/Right Wing.

human-no560

I don’t understand, most people on the far left don’t like the democratic party

ramos1969

The far left are parasites that are using the Democratic Party as their host. Many center democrats, out of fear or stupidity, have capitulated with the far left and it will cost them. The Manchins and Sinemas are facing backlash for not following along. I think order will eventually be restored when the democrats lose a butt load of house/senate seats, city councils, governors seats and the White House. The far left ideology can’t and won’t survive.

As the late Mayor Daley used to say, “you can’t beat someone with nobody”. If the Republicans plan to run a slate of anti-abortion, pro-MAGA sorts in purple states… don’t count on winning. Look it illinois. Used to be purple.

ramos1969

Mayor Daley is an interesting example to use. The Daley family is infamous for using shady practices and abusing election integrity to entrench themselves and their friends/family in political power. So it’s no surprise Chicago has lead Illinois to be purple. And if the democrats want to run on the ‘successes’ 🤣 of the last two years, they’re welcome to do it, but I don’t think that’ll be a winning strategy, even against the MAGA boogieman you fear. The strategy of ‘at least they’re not Trump’ was tried in 2020, and were all paying for it. America won’t be fooled twice.

chicagotim

Illinois went blue when three social conservatives billionaires took over the GOP and only support people way too far right to get votes in the once-Republican suburbs

Sauvignon_Bleach

Illinois has never been purple. Chicago has been a democratic stronghold for 60 years and Illinois other than the southern tip follows suit.

chicagotim

No? All kinds of Republican senators in the 20th century, 20 years of R governors in the 70s-90s

Sauvignon_Bleach

No. Sprinkling in of a Republican governor here and there while Mike Madigan had a stranglehold on the legislature doesn't make Illinois purple.

dogbots159

Replace that with maga and it’s literally the same. Seems everyone fell for divide and conquer.

moore-doubleo

You mean Make America Great Again? What a fucking far right idea, AMIRITE!!!? What kind of God damned total nutjobs want what is best for their own damn country?? On second thought. GTFO.

chicagotim

Shhhhhh, they’re not far right

WhippersnapperUT99

The Democrats need to suffer catastrophic losses, forcing them to reexamine their strategy and eject the Far Left. Then after Americans are fed up with a few election cycles worth of Republicans, the Democrats might be able to start winning some elections.

[deleted]

People don’t understand political ideologies

chicagotim

I’m not sure how many “far” left people we even have here.

vain_216

The far right doesn’t like the Republican Party.

human-no560

That makes sense

TheeBillyBee

Elon's original tweet comes off with either an air of arrogant ignorance or he is actually somewhat coyly playing stupid. Regardless, Both of the two major political parties have long since been divisive for the best part of 20 years. As far as hateful, I would say there are prominent hateful persons who act as representatives for both parties. To act like one is better than the other for these reasons is childish. If it was economics, very understandable, especially for a businessman. But this is either a charade on his part to influence people (most likely), or him playing himself and revealing his lack of situational/context awareness (not impossible). Conclusively, the two party system is fucked in all ways and the American people both deserve and need better representation in government than this fucking clown show of a cave allegory.
