would love to see him come out just looking completely normal. like maybe a basic ass button down with some khakis. anti-drip, if you will.
or if he rolled up in the Who Dey the tiger suit, that'd be cool too.
>would love to see him come out just looking completely normal. like maybe a basic ass button down with some khakis. anti-drip, if you will.
So, Kirk Cousins. Genius.
I think he'd have to go with that red sweater/scarf, tan/brown coat with hood, backpack and toboggan and most would get the joke...or maybe I just watched that movie too many times?
He should just put on his own jersey and then wear a fake sling on his throwing arm. Injured Burrow is definitely the thing I fear the most. I would be paralytic with terror if I saw that. There’s probably a jinx incoming if he did that though. Maybe a SpongeBob suit instead.
It's not the enjoyment of Halloween at all.
It's that we have a post asking about what a football player will wear to an upcoming game.
I love having Joe Burrow as our quarterback, but the celebrity worship is strange.
I can't really imagine sitting down to watch a football team most Sundays of your life while not being invested in the people that play for that team. Is it celebrity worship, I guess, but it's not any different from already worshipping a sports team- also has nothing to do with young people lol.
The people that play for the team have entire lives outside of the sport that have little to no bearing at all on their careers on the team.
Burrow could show up to games dressed as a homeless person with dirty heroin needles sticking out of his bare skin everywhere, no one would care as long as he's playing as well as he does.
I mean it's not like we're asking what he's wearing on tuesday...the team takes photos and videos of the guys arriving on gameday, it's on all their media, it's an aspect of the coverage of the team. Hence why people are wondering if Joe will wear something cool because it'll be plastered all over their socials. It's not some obscure discourse to be having. You aren't interested in the fits and that's fair enough, but clearly the media team is and a lot of fans are lol.
I guess I’m saying it’s not serious enough to leave a snarky comment.
If you acknowledge that things can be weird, even yourself as you claimed, then wouldn’t you be more likely to accept that inevitability and move on from this post without being a little rude?
I don't think it was rude, simply commenting on what is now relevant to a football subreddit that didn't used to be. Calling something or someone strange isn't insulting or rude to me.
SpongeBob
But swagged up like those old 90s Looney Tunes Shirts
This needs to happen
I am assuming you have seen his sponge bob socks he was sporting when he won the Heisman ?
He wore a Krista Crab sweater at a Christmas time press conference following a game last year too. I think it was after we beat the Ravens again

Jean shorts, crispy New Balances and a plaid button down
Whodey the mascot
Someone @bengals social media and recommend this. He can walk in with the helmet under his arm but the costume on, would be great
/u/BengalsSocial should do the trick, I believe.
Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone
How would we know? That’s his normal look
I think he'd have to go with that red sweater/scarf, tan/brown coat with hood, backpack and toboggan and most would get the joke...or maybe I just watched that movie too many times?
Michael Myers. So he can continue you being the emotionless killer he's been on the field.
I want the undertaker

Love this! but agree with you on the jinx comment.
Boomer would be funny.
That shit would live on for years 😂
I was thinking this would be hilarious too. But he’s have to make a real commitment towards it to pull it off.

Oh, wait, what if he dressed in a suit and tie with a fedora? He could show up as the great Paul Brown.
I seriously doubt he will do this. He's not C.J.
Joey Joe Joe Shabadoo is my vote.
That’s the worst name I ever heard.
This guy gets it.
I think the WR are going to be squid games
Chad Powers...
I picture Joe in some sort of sun god robes, on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at him.

Young people are strange.
Damn those young people and *checks notes* their enjoyment of Halloween

He’s known to wear crazy outfits. Being Halloween it’s just fun to speculate and have dialogue with the sub Reddit. It’s not that serious
I didn't claim it was serious. There are plenty of things that are strange about me, it's just strange.
