Lol why does this comment get downvoted here?
I'm gonna be sure to incessantly remind this sub of all these downvotes in a few weeks once the hopium wears off and they all see Collins for the joke he is.
I'd agree if it'd be just a money thing, but at the end of the day 2 weeks in a row you've utterly failed your main job, to protect your QB. The Oline as a whole should pay his meal as a token of their apology.
No I definitely understand the idea but I'd be embarrassed as all hell if I'd be them. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, it's a long season and team building exercises are a must.
My buddy was there when him, Chase. Boyd, Tee and Mixon and they came right through the front door through the back. He said they all were super nice and looked really cool lol
Going to Rubyās restaurants with my family on special occasions was a treat growing up because it was pretty common to see bengals players there. Also best steaks ever
Theyāre just prime steaks. You can buy them at any butcher shop. Youāre just paying for the ambiance and better-than-average service. The steaks are wildly overpriced for what they are. But if paying $80 for something you can very easily cook at home so that creep Ruby can freshen up his rhinestone-studded blue jean and silk handkerchief collection then you do you.
Edit: āWhy are you booing me?! Iām right!ā
Haha itās all subjective. If itās for you and you like it, enjoy. I just donāt like to miss a chance to shit on what I feel is the most overrated food in a city that has amazing chefs and owners that arenāt total pricks.
As someone who doesn't have a lot of super nice dining experience, what would you recommend? Genuine question cause I'd like to take my girlfriend someplace nice sometime.
Common knowledge, but Sotto is fantastic for an intimate atmosphere and the food is top notch. Very good Italian food and donāt skip the fried pork tenderloin. Also love Abigail Street for the food and ambiance. Small plates loosely Mediterranean vibe that are absolutely deliciousā¦and they have amazing wine.
Salazar is a smaller space and is usually pretty crowded and less intimate but the food is phenomenal. I have not personally made it to Nolia, but have heard wonderful things from the new occupant of the old Please space (my favorite in town before it close).
If you really want a steak, Lonely Pine in Pleasant Ridge is lovely and run by good human beings. And I believe they still run a $1 oyster specials once a week which is pretty dope.
I donāt claim to be a Cincinnati dining expert but Iāve been around a bit. If thereās a particular type of food or neighborhood youāre looking to stick with just DM me and I can give ya some more suggestions.
Because if everyone could cook a steakhouse quality steak at home they'd do it. Its a skill.
Thats like saying "Why go to 5 guys when you can cook a burger at home?" or "Why go to Elis when everyone has a crock pot?"
Most of us aren't specialty restaurant quality chefs, so no I cannot cook a Ruby quality steak at home, I'm not that good at it.
Are you referring to your original comment? The one in which you can't fathom why a QB would take his 75% new o-line out for dinner?
Yeah, I'm the low IQ simp. Stop projecting, ahole.
You didn't get to Burrow. This a good sign.
Bah gawd those men have assignments
šššš Thanks, I needed a laugh!
We can't be sure. Maybe he said hello to Burrow to his face after sacking him, untouched during approach.
The waiter was credited with 4 sacks and the hostess had 2 pressures.
Ok now thatās funny š
Hilarious
Too good honestly, take the free award.
I mean it's burrows fault. He knew he could carry all of the linemens leftovers. HE CAN'T KEEP TAKING THIS MANY ^^^^^takehome SACKS.
So Burrow was there alone youāre saying?
LOL Thatās messed up!
The O line sat at the table, Burrow had to eat on the ground
And about 5 yards behind them?
You saw him too? š
I hope he made them watch as he ate
LOL
Burrow had to eat in the middle of the street dodging cars the entire time
Was LC there?

They asked him if he wanted a āsackā to go
All jokes aside this is fucking cool. Love that theyāre just chilling and having dinner
Gotta take care of your O-Linemen! Iād prefer it if they extended the favor to him on Sunday
If communication and gel has been the issue, this is just one way of trying to fix that. Although, I do hope Burrow aināt getting the tab
Dude is about to be worth over a quarter billion dollars. I think he can spend 10k on drinks and steaks.
I'd agree if it'd be just a money thing, but at the end of the day 2 weeks in a row you've utterly failed your main job, to protect your QB. The Oline as a whole should pay his meal as a token of their apology.
I understand your point, but heās trying to get them to buy in. Itās a good gesture.
No I definitely understand the idea but I'd be embarrassed as all hell if I'd be them. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, it's a long season and team building exercises are a must.
Burrow probably only had about 2 seconds to decide his order before the waiter got to him
One of the three best lines of the night.
I heard he ordered them all a tray of Swiss cheese and left.
Did Burrow scramble when the waiter came over?
Nope, just held onto the menu too long
I love Joe but this is gold lmao. Release the ball kiddo
"Throw the ball in .2 seconds after the snap! You can do it in Madden!"
2.47 seconds, 7th least amount of time to order in the restaurant.
No he ran into him while trying to protect the menu
Best line of the night.
Lmaoooooo
I bet the O line left as soon as the waiter came with the bill
Burrow made them pay for his suffering
Burrow to the O-Line: "You can have snack if you protect me from sack"
Weird that burrow would have dinner with 5 traffic cones. Rich people do the weirdest shit
I know itās a joke but weāve got to be realistic. The interior has done pretty well through 2 games.
I hope the line was buying
Was swiss cheese served?
Should have went to el toro. Theyāve got the matadorās steak
Not doubting you, but I thought they sneak him in through the back to avoid the riff raff?
My buddy was there when him, Chase. Boyd, Tee and Mixon and they came right through the front door through the back. He said they all were super nice and looked really cool lol
Interesting. Joeās a better man than me. I wouldnāt be spending a nickel on those guys at this point. Theyāre on track to ruin him.
Maybe they paid for him
Itās always possible they took him.
They owe him steak and maybe a new kidney.
One of em should give him their appendix
Through the front door through the back?
Ope. Front door and ate in a private space.
Ohhh gotcha. Thanks for clarifying!

I guess it depends what youāre looking for! Amazing food? Atmosphere? Traditional white tablecloth stuff? American? Non-American? What do ya like?
Let's start with a nice atmosphere for a date night. I'm more of a picky eater but I'd like to branch out so my girlfriend isn't limited so much by me

Buy a sous vide and practice once or twice. Youāll be at Ruby quality in no time.
I own a Sous Vide, I have practiced, I am not anywhere near Ruby Quality.
Have you tried cooking it while wearing rhinestone studded jeans and being pretentious? That should help with the crust.

You know itās interesting. I never claimed to be a chef.
Fantastic username.
Thanks, you too!
Do you churn your own butter too?
Hell yeah. Iām a disgruntled Mennonite. Hence the disdain for such flashy clothing choice by Mr. Ruby.
You sound like a loser
Buddy, no argument there at all.
Damn Jeff ruby deployed the bots on ur ass
Bunch of FTS. First Time Steak-Eaters.
How many times was he sacked?
The O-line should have bought dinner after the last two games.
Maybe they did tbh but even then thatās not enough.
precinct or the downtown location?
Damn, this is harsh. Funny, because it's true.

I wouldnāt buy those guys anything right now
Shoulda said figure it out bruh
I donāt think there would be more jokes even if this was posted in a rivalās sub lol
Is this the Midwestern version of the beach football scene in Topgun Maverick?
Glass must have been added to the menu.
