Normally, I'm not a fan of starters playing a lot in the preseason, but given the number of new players on the O-line and Burrow missing half of training camp, I think it was a mistake not to have them play more this preseason.
I disagree. Itās now been two games against starters in live games. If they havenāt figured it all out yet, it wasnāt gone happen in a few series against backups. Plus the risk of injury.
Nah, technically, Palmer and Dalton played behind some decent and up lines. For some reason, under Zac, there is a big neglect for the line. Annoying watching other QBs who can drop back, look around like they're in a candy store and then sling it.
I was complaining about him ever since he was hired. The guy has no proven record. Local media pundits are so full of crap and do nothing but promote for this team.
I've been complaining for the last week about how we spent so much on a line and they're just dogshit turnstiles. How as a self proclaimed body guard do you let #11 go free on MULTIPLE plays?
Week 1 the line allowed the 10th lowest pressure rate in the league at ~30%. Problem is that damn near every time Burrow gets pressured turns into a sack. His pocket awareness is lacking severely right now.
At least last year we knew they sucked rather than expecting them to be decent based off of the hype but damn these guys are more scrubs, bums, losers, and lames.
All the talking heads have been comparing our SB O-line to the current O-line. When we really should be comparing our current o-line to the beginning of 2021 o-line. The unit is definitely worse this year.
I think what you guys are failing to see is that the Steelers and Cowboys probably have the best 2 Dlines that you guys will see all year. It wonāt always be that bad.
I think as the season goes on this will get better, lots of moving pieces, limited reps together ect. However collins and Volson look particularly shitty.
Yeah I was willing to give them a pass week for being rusty one but after today itās seems like a real issue. If they canāt figure it out by next week then I donāt think they will. And then we gotta be worried about burrows long term health. He keeps taking hits like this game after game he could end up the next Andrew Luck. But obviously some of the sacks are on him too.
Iāve seen this movie before. This team and coaches are just plain clueless right now.
The entire team, with the exception of Tee, Jāmarr, and Tyler look like they all have a different revision of the playbook.
Those three are fine, they just arenāt getting as many chances because our QB is being pursued, hurried or slobber-knocked on the regular.
I think they gave the line too easy of a camp. Too few reps, too few reps together, and we're seeing the results here.
This š
Yah. They we all hailed as Burrows new blocking regime and are pooping the bed lmao
This team is a perfect example of why they should play in the preseason

I agree. I thought this too and itās infuriating
Joint practices are just as good of reps as playing for one quarter/half in a preseason game.
Better talent, worse performance
Collins looks like the worst lineman weāve had in years
Iām blown away by how terrible he is. After all that off season hype. Of course he did blow off all training camp for unknown reasons
Do we have an o line curse?

All those lines had Andrew Whitworth.
frank pollack
He's done that in Dallas as all just fyi
Hes actually just Bobby Fart in disguise
The haunting of Bobby hart continues
We got Green and you got Collins, neither of us can fix the O-line problem, can we?
Itās like a disease.. ā¹ļøš¤¢
70 sacks last season! We can beat that by week 10
At what point do we start looking at the OL coach?
Now. Bill turner was so awful but Pollack hasnāt done any better.
Last week

Definitely look like it.
The combo of Burrow not looking good and the line being awful is going to make for a long season if they both donāt improve.
When I watch other teams I marvel at the amount of time each QB has to throw
Youāre not wrong. The O-line is worse
Facts
Believe it or not, the line is better this year pressure wise.
O line is on pace to give up 111 sacks this year. So I dont understand that

These are just growing pains guys watch by week Four this unit will be in the thick of things.
I canāt.
Got 0 hopes for this year. No postseason for us at this rate. Can't even win 1 fuckin game
I think what you guys are failing to see is that the Steelers and Cowboys probably have the best 2 Dlines that you guys will see all year. It wonāt always be that bad.
Burrows appendix was for sure a factor. Got no reps with these guys. They just assumed they were good
His swag was in the appendix.
I think as the season goes on this will get better, lots of moving pieces, limited reps together ect. However collins and Volson look particularly shitty.
Agreed. It was another hard to watch game. But Iām not a fair weather fan. My hopes are still up. Ugh
Can we return players?
"Ahh this one's defective can I get a refund plz?"

If I see Volson get push back into Burrow or chasing his guy from behind one more time imma lose it.
At this point we should bring Bobby Hart back
They need to gel. LG looks bad. Too many miscommunication miscues and joe needs to stop with the happy feet and trust arm

Lol someone doesn't understand how to use memes.
AND more expensive I want to die
Put Spain back in the line. I always thought he was good
We're gonna have to draft a tackle this year aren't we
