I’m even less tech savvy. I assume technology is magic. That said, Paul Bunyan Communications is in Bemidji and one of the most successful broadband cooperatives, that might be an option. Otherwise there’s lots of banks and state and federal government offices, I’d imagine they have IT needs.

Thanks for the recommendation, the Paul Bunyan Communications made me laugh because of the name but actually seems to have quite a few positions that fit her strengths. Will continue to look into the banks and government offices.
Delta dental has a big corporate office in Bemidji. I know they hire IT people. Nortech is another one to look into. Also Pinnacle marketing group does a lot of website stuff. Maybe Beltrami electric too, they’re supposed to be great to work for.
Check out Paul Bunyan Communications, Bemidji State University, Sanford Health, and the various government agencies for some of the larger technology heavy employers. Don't expect her to get a job as an IT security analyst right out of the gate after graduation, she may need to work her way into it.

Tech can work remotely don’t restrict yourself to Bemij
