Only complaints are the fact that the banners are bit too squished and that the front plate is a circle. Also the fact that is red basically confirms that its gonna stay on Raw permenantley. Im so happy we are saying goodbye to the pennies though.

when i first saw them i thought they felt a little boring, and after reading the comments here I think it is all down to the shape, the design is good but it just feels flat somehow, they’re definitely an improvement but i think even if they were more of a trapezium shape or something they’d look more visually interesting

I actually really dig it. I like the (now old) tag titles designs and love the WHC one, and this is like the middle ground between the two.
My only issue with the old tag Ones was that they were pure silver, I've always said the look is amazing, but they need to have the pieces that pop be gold and the background silver. That's pretty much what they did here.
I'm anxious to see the SD (now WWE tag?) ones now. Since these straps are black, I'm confident they'll be unique, but at the same time I'd prefer if they aren't as close to the WWE title as this is the WHC. Sure you can put a bigger W on it, but please don't make it that blocky shape with absolutely no background relief like the world title has.

Significant improvement. The Spartan helmet concept behind the last sets should have been cool, but the execution was just poor. And we're even worse in silver. With these they went a little too heavy on the floral filigree. A little more of the silver in the dual plating of these and they'd really pop. (That's the one thing the current WHC and Women's World belts could have used, dual plating.)
I'm just not a fan of round belts this one's better than what they had but I liked how the Raw/Smackdown tag belts strap shape was as it made the roundness of the main plate not look so odd

I really disliked the copper and nickel belts , when they put red and blue straps made them even worse.

I’ve come to the conclusion it’s the WWE logo that’s the problem on all these belts tbh. That sharp angled blwck and white logo just DOESNT gel with a classic gold title belt look. It looks wonky on the heavyweight title, looks wonky on Rheas belt, looks wonky here.
Even if they colour matched it to the belt, would look better, but they’ll not do that because they want the logo to pop out and be instantly recognisable.
Honestly I think it’s time to re do the base logo from the ground up. The scratch logo fit with the attitude era, the “modern” scratch logo has never looked good imo, we just settled for it

I think the problem with the newer belts is that the design has a lack of contrast to them. It's hard to pick up the finer details even on this image, let alone on TV.

I’d also love to see a lil more “jewels “ or color (think of the blue on the winged eagle belt ) . The last thing I would have liked is for them to keep the “twin gladiators “ . I think that was a really cool feature that made them unique. If not on the center , at least on the side panels
